After swapping out the front struts on my 2007 Honda Element, I needed an alignment and quickly learned that being new to Clovis meant a lot of phone calls. I checked with the big name tire shops first and every quote was $150 or more for what sounded like a basic toe adjustment, plus long wait times. I gave this place a call and the price was way more reasonable, definitely under $100. Even better, they got me in and out pretty quickly. No runaround, no upsell. I took my car in for an alignment. It took a while for anyone to acknowledge me, maybe it's because the showroom is not obviously connected to shop and customers are supposed to begin there, I don't know. Either way, I did not get a good feeling there. Place didn't look professional or well organized. Before they aligned the wheels, I explained the reason I wanted an alignment is because one of the front tires showing signs of substantially greater wear than the rest of the tires. I asked for their professional opinion and was not given a clear answer but a shoulder shrug instead. The owner took the car, put it on the rack and fifteen minutes and $130 later, the owner came back and advised me that the alignment was hardly off. I asked him wether is was still within specs but he dodged the question and charged me anyway. Shady. I would recommend not going here for an alignment and instead go to a reputable place that will show you alignment number (toe and camber) before aligment and after so that you are your you are paying for necessary work. Most places will put it up on the rack and if its within specs, there either will be no charge or something minimal for checking. read more

Like to go here for tires and usually never have an issue. Took my truck to get an alignment because the front tires both had about a full degree of toe out. In my opinion an easy fix and woudlve done it myself if i had the correct tools to not damage anything. But they told me to just "look at my suspension" and basically did nothing but charged me the full price. All you had to do was extend the tie rods a little bit, think thatll be my last time going here. (I got under the truck the day before, and the day after and nothing looks touched or moved) read more

My wife and I had both got new tires on our cars about 6 months apart from each other, and never had an issue. We got quality tires on each. Mine an Toyota Avalon Limited and hers a Nissan Altima 2 door coupe. The price was excellent and came with a warranty and lifetime free tire rotations. About 9 months to a year later, one day my wife's car tire went flat and we took it in to see if it was covered by warranty. Sabika proviced top level customer service at the counter. She first had her team check to see if it could be repaired. When it was discovered that there was damage to the side wall inside of the tire, they apologized that the tire couldn't be saved. I asked to look and confirmed that the damage was legitimate and irreparable. No way that tire was safe. But Sabika offered me 2 options. Send the tire back for a warranty claim. Because it's on the rounding edge of the tread going into the side wall she couldn't guarantee it. 8 weeks turn around. Sabika offered to give us a used tire while we wait for an answer but when I tried to pay for it she just waved me off. They spent time and refused to charge me. This proved that I could trust them, so I switched to the second option which was pay for a new tire today and she has promised to call and refund me if the manufacturer approves our claim. Based on the honest way this was handled and the extra mile they were willing to go without charging us, they have won my business for life as long as they treat us well. This has been an excellent experience. Sabika communicates very well and was never defensive or hesitant in taking care of our potential warranty claim. read more

Poor service, dishonest and rips you off. Brought in a donut rim that I got off a trailer and was looking for a size 14.5 tire. First day I brought one rim in for a 14.5, the guy managed to squeeze a size 14 in (unsafe for roads/could possibly pop on me). Being in knowledgeable about if a 14 could not fit on a 14.5 rim, the Indian guy who did it the first day, told me it was okay to do and fit it on. But when I brought in the second rim (after buying the 14 in tire) to do the same thing the next day, they pretended not to speak English and deny me any services saying it was unsafe for them to do and they could not fit it on the rim. Basically reassured me that 14 in tires would fit on the 14.5 in rim... bought the tires... did the first rim... and didn't do the second one saying it would not work. If it was unsafe to do it in the first place, why reassure me to buy them in the first place and lie? If you're looking for a trustworthy place for tires, I would not recommend this place! read more

Every time I'm here the service is like I'm going to a family members house to have work done. I trust these folks with every one of my cars. I needed a tire to be patched thanks to a rouge nail, they did it within 30 minutes and it was extremely inexpensive. Today I'm here because a pothole left a bulge in my side wall. This place provided the best pricing for my 2005 Toyota Sienna alignment . Lady on the phone was very helpful. Had walk in / call in appointment ready for me right away. Alignment was done fast. However the alignment itself is the worse ever. This made my car even worse. My steering wheel was slightly off and that made my car slowly veer one way. Thinking this alignment will help, it was the complete opposite . My steering was way off and made it very dangerous. They say they have a warranty period. BS. If you messed up my car the first time why would I even give you another chance. I went to wheels work and paid more to get it fixed . read more

Depends on what type of experience you are looking for. For downtown Clovis I saw the good reviews on the service and interaction, which is true nice seeming folks. However, I thought I'd try buying a used pair of tires for a Tahoe I dont use much... I dont need to get 69-70k miles out of the tires. They pulled a tire off the top of a stack, it had about 60-65% tread left. "They pointed out looks good right?" I agreed and we struck a deal for $320 for 4 if I paid cash. So I went and got cash, came back and they put the tires on. When I got home I realized although they were all the same make/style/size, 2 were 60% tires, 2 were 20% tires. Upon returning and pointing this out, they basically kept saying "you saw the tires before you bought them right?" I replied that the tire brought down was represented to to me as what I was getting and no I didn't have the guy pull all 4 off the 10 tires high stack. Manager comes out, says the same thing. They present options on a couple other tires that are maybe 40%, I kept saying just give me 2 tires with the same amount of tread, but they are basically sifting through a warehouse full of tires, 50% crap, 50 decent which up on THIS visit I notice because I no longer trusted the presentation. Eventually I just said I'll deal with it, and went to leave. One guy says "if you have any issues just let us know"... which I found comical. They also mentioned that when you "buy used tires, 2 are always bad" which I also found amusing. The 2 low tires they gave me any normal should like americas tire etc would refuse to rotate because they were too low. If you like inspecting and haggling you may be able to get a decent deal here, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They are very personable and nice, but my experience would definitely indicate you're much better off not rolling the dice, and if you do... check every damn tire yourself. read more

Came in before it was closing the night before and needed my wheels checked for a balance/alignment. Guy said to come in the next day at 745am and he would be there. When I got there in the morning it was closed and the sign said it opened at 830am. I waited for almost half an hour and he didn't show. One of the guys that I saw last night showed up at 810am and didn't even acknowledge me when I was waiting in my car. He seemed like he was waiting for the shop to open up. I called several places claiming to be the lowest price in town I called and spoke to Sabika and they had my tires in stock which is a surprise as they are oddball sizes...I drove from Madera and was greeted immediately with prompt friendly service. The wait was not long maybe 45 minutes to an hour but my daughter and I took a little walk down old town Clovis and enjoyed visiting a couple of the antique stores. We will definitely be back for any of our tire needs and will be referring friends and family here. This morning I came in for a set of 4 tires and got a good discount and fast service. Even though they are busy they always manage to get customers in an out. The owners are very friendly. I never have any problems and recommend them to family and friends. I was in the waiting room and over heard a hispanic lady arguing with the owners about her getting two tires for her tractor. I was there first than her and I heard the owner tell her it will take 1 hour. She agreed to leave her tires and said she has something important to do. She came back 30 minutes later and got really crazy and rude towards the owners and and the worker. There is only 1 worker there this morning and 3 cars that needed to be done. The owners are good people and I dont think it is right for the Candy G. to leave a bad review just because she doesnt get what she wants and turns the story around. read more

I showed up and staff was pleasant. The alignment took a little longer than expected, but when I decided to remove the wheels the following day to do some work on the car I found their wrench still hanging from my control arm. Not only was I in disbelief, but realized the possible danger that could have posed to other drivers on the road if it happened to fall out- especially on the freeway! I then decided to check their work and found multiple jam nuts that I could turn with just my fingers! Again, management was pleasant and worked with me, but I would have more faith in them doing professional work on my vehicle than the technician they had actually performing it. read more

Great place for truck tires. I first heard of this place from my buddy Ai Sonoma raceway in the Bay Area who drove all the way here for his tires. When I asked him why there he said they offered the lowest price anywhere for 10ply 4x4 tires. Nice thing it's right down the street from our house. I just purchased my third set of tires here for my RAM 2500. They continue to beat everyone else's price hands down. I guess a smaller family run business with lower over head allows them to keep their prices low. Another reason I continue to return is the service is great. Buying 4x4 tires comes with some risk- that being a Warrenty - even though my tires had no warranty they still gave me a discount on my new set. The owner (Sabika) said is just what they do. I've been getting tires from these guys for about 4 years now. I drive over 100 miles a day and the wife has an attraction to curbs and rocks so we've replaced a lot of tires. Nobody has come close to beating their prices. My only hesitation was they didn't offer road hazard warranty, but within the last year they started carrying tires that come with road hazard.
