A "gearhead" buddy of mine recommended Mac's Tires, stating that's where he brings all of his cars. I've since brought both of my cars here and I can't recommend this place enough! The tire light in my Honda was on, turns out it was simple patch repair. They not only patched it, but also rotated my tires and cleaned off my brakes to stop them from squeaking. They stated the pads were fine, but can sometimes squeak due to a grime build up. Tire light is off and no more squeaky brakes. I thought my Subaru needed an alignment, but when I brought it in they showed me that the front driver side tire had a huge bulge and was basically pushing the entire car to the right. It was also about shred into pieces. I chose to replace all the tires since they all showed signs of distress and low tread. That fixed the alignment and my car was done in one day; I dropped it off around noon on a Friday! Most places would take the weekend. Fast, reliable, and friendly service. Update for 2022. Last time I was this happy with a tire company or any business was probably in the 80s. This shop is just easy to work with, they are reliable, clear communications, answer the phone, always get the job done right the first time with reasonable and competitive pricing. Good pricing on alignment with coupon but waited almost 3 hours just to get my wheel alignment done. Made an appointment online but never got a contact back to confirm appointment so I called to see if it was confirmed but was told I can just come in since it wasn't busy and expect to be only an hour to hour and a half of wait time. Had my son's truck in over and over on an a/c problem. Promises were not kept. It was always, we haven't gotten to it and other issues. Brake issues were the same way. Decided after a year + to give them another chance with daughter's car. Friday they said they would get it diagnosed. We dropped it off and no call. On Monday went in to see where we stood and they said they hadn't gotten to it yet. Last chance for me. There have to be mechanics out there who actually do what they say they will. read more

My husband brought his tires in to be taken off the beadlocks and got the tires back with sidewalk damage. Chunks removed from the sidewall. He called the shop and they offered to give him his $40 back for the job. These are tires we had someone coming in to by for $450. My husband took the tires back to the shop, the guys who did the job got pissy and claimed that the tires were old and it's not their problem. They refused to contact the manager to rectify the situation. Unless we hear from the manager or the owner to set things right we will be headed to small claims court. What a joke. Update: After a series of phone calls with the manager that following Monday, the manager did agree to make things right and compensate for the tires. My husband went back to the shop and met the manager who was hesitant to compensate as discussed however after a period of time gave my husband a check for the damaged tires. Much time and energy was used up with this service but in the end they were honorable. read more

I brought my brake drums to get resurfaced at 8am and when I got here I was advised to be back by 9:30-10. I got here a bit after 9:30 and the gentleman that helped me asked if my brake drum was done and his co-worker advised no he'll start now. The guy that helped me told me he had 1 to go. Here I am 10:46 I just got 1 brake drum back 45 mins after 9:30 when I got here and he told me the other one would take another hour so here I am 3 hours in to my day and I have to wait another hour. Does it really take this long to resurface brake drums 4 hours? read more

Brought a part in a rotter to be changed when I left it was still grinding. Rodney who works there tells me "well you didn't tell me that's the issue" I said well your guys obviously saw something wrong. He said we just changed what we were told to do! I said so you're not like any other good repair shop that when you notice something else wrong you'd let your client know? He still proceeded to say we did what we were told! That's bad business because it just means forget what is really wrong let's just change what he wanted us to and collect his money! Bad business, I will never bring my business to this place again. Warning they will see the real problem but not tell you if it meant they'd get paid on what you want them to do. Bad business, not to mention the place is dirty, old and messy. I arrived on a Friday around 2pm. Got my alignment done on a 96 4runner lifted with 33s in 45 minutes. Highly impressed with the work and polite employees.
