Service was quick. Went in to shop twice in a week for nail in tire. They were super nice and right around the corner from where I live.

Came in for an alignment and these fools tried to hustle me. Part of an alignment is a suspension check. If the suspension isn't good, it cannot be aligned. These idiots left a tie rod end of all things with a loose nut(supposedly, I think they loosened it) A tie rod end is essential to a vehicle being aligned. They supposedly aligned it without noticing and then drove it and said it can't be aligned and I can pay extra for them to tighten the nut, but they have to take the tire off and then align it again. They're criminals. I demanded my car back and they argued. I told them they are getting a bad review and they argued. I told them if they don't give my keys back I'll call the police. They finally agreed and then said they can't release the vehicle without signing the work order, the work they never did, I refused and began calling the police and the owner not wanting to be shut down decided to give me my keys. I don't recommend working with criminals who hustle people. read more

They straight out, lied to me on the telephone about what it would cost. I talked to a person who was very nice and articulate. I told him I was buying a used car and needed a full inspection. He told me they would do mechanical and physical inspection bumper-to-bumper and it would cost me $50. I double checked the price because it seemed fairly inexpensive and I was excited to find it less expensive than the other places around, so I booked the appointment. However, when we showed up the next day, there was a different person at the counter, said he said it would be $150, the $50 price was only for people who drove Uber or Lyft. I told him that the appointment made on the phone quoted me $50. He said they would never do that, that it was $150 unless we drove for Uber or Lyft. While I was there, another guy came in with a truck that the he had been quoted $160 and they were trying to charge him $250. He was able to negotiate back to the $160 that they had originally quoted him. So I asked to please have the price that was quoted to me and he said no it would be $150. So we left. read more

My experience with this merchant sucked. I called on Saturday 9/16/23 to make appointment for alignment, and informed them I was buying Groupon. I was asked to not buy Groupon and they would honor the price, no appointment needed. I drove 30 minutes to their shop. Upon arrival, the short dark-skinned tech rudely says $128 for alignment. Not only was he rude, he was chewing with his mouth open while talking to me. That's crazy and disgusting. I explained that I was told they would honor Groupon price and was asked by them not to buy it. He rudely says $86. I show him that Groupon is $71. He says if we give you $71 price, we will schedule you for Monday. Made zero sense to me other than he was just he was just being a d***. Wasted time and gas, and his rudeness combined with the sight of his half-chewed food in his mouth made for an unpleasant experience. I walked out in disbelief. read more

Tried getting my Audi wagon into the dealer for brakes and it wasn't gonna happen for months. This location had a Groupon for brake pads and it wasn't bad at all. Made an appointment, dropped the car off, should have been in and out for brake pads. I was called back saying I also needed rotors. Yep, ok, no worries. So they replace my rotors also and have a problem with the parking brake. They said "it's the module", charge me to replace it, and even after the fact, it ends up not being the module at all. I park the wagon as I don't drive it often and wait for my Fresno Audi appointment. They complete the routine maintenance and tell me, "you need new rear calipers as whoever changed them destroyed the parking brake by forcing it open with something that pries". The cost: $2200. Called wheelmaxx and have yet to hear back and I believe it was the owner who was working on my car........ So now I have a car that was perfectly fine because it came in, just needing brake pads, to now needing both rear calipers replaced. I don't recommended any business that is unwilling to fix their mistakes or just say-"hey we can't do this". Anxiously awaiting a call back. read more

Replaced the Freon for a great price. Responded to my inquiry really quick. Friendly staff as well.

My son took his car in for a transmission fluid replacement. There were no issues with the car. There were no leaks. It was just recommend it for the mileage of the car at the time. They put the drain plug and gasket on too tight which caused a leak. We took the car back within two weeks when we noticed that the car was leaking more and more. He was then charged $149 to do an assessment on the cooling system when the issue was with the transmission drain plug. We took the car back to have this fixed, but they wrote in the comments that the reason the drain plug was leaking, was because he hit a curb, and that they are no longer responsible and refused to give his money back for a AC service that he didn't need. Do not use this shop. There were other people who were having issues with them as well, they will take your money. The female shop manager is one of the worst persons to deal with. She lies on the paperwork and she treats people as if they are nothing. read more

I went in today get my brake pads replaced on my 2003 mustang. I've never been here before and I've always had a hard time trusting mechanics as I feel like I might get swindled! I am glad to say that this place is great! The mechanic was very knowledgeable on my car, as he pointed out things that I knew might need fixing. It was great. Was able to get my full synthetic oil change at less than half I've paid at other places. They had a Groupon available which saved me about $50 and was easy to use. I was shown that the inner portion of my front tire was threadbare and unsafe - I wouldn't have even checked that part of my tire and it wasn't visible from the outside but easily shown from under the car while changing the oil. I knew my tires needed to be replaced but didn't realize they were that bad. They were not pushy with the sales at all but honest about what was needed. Ended up getting two new front tires, an alignment as well as the full synthetic oil change. With the Groupon I paid less than $350 and left very satisfied and feeling safe on the road. They're relatively new so they are running a Groupon special. $39 for full synthetic. Gave them a try and they were friendly and fairly quick. I also came when only one other customer was there. Expect to pay about $20 additional for extra quart of oil and fees. So price and service was great. read more

We bought new wheels and new tires at Wheel Maxx, Fresno about a year and a half ago. The picture attached is one of the four tire's that are stressed and were assessed by a professional tire specialist, who also asked us if we purchased new tires and wheels that were bigger? We said yes. He then replied: "They should have never let you drive away from their business (Wheel Maxx) with those wheels and tires, they are scraping inside the fender well". As decent Auto Repair Shops seems to be dwindling in Fresno I found Wheel Maxx just driving by on a Saturday. Yes that is not a typo a SATURDAY! Moe was courteous, quick and reasonable. Don't let the appearance of a small shop from the street fool you...he has a BIG SHOP and is capable of a host of repairs! My motor was making an awful screeching noise. I pulled in off the street, within 10 minutes it was being looked and within 45 minutes I was back on the road. New serpentine belt was replaced on my 2000 Tundra at a reasonable price. I originally came here because of a Groupon I purchased, but I will continue to come back as a loyal customer. They have shown me such great customer service and honesty. I originally came in for multiple services I thought I needed. After inspecting my vehicle, they gave me an honest recommendation and let me know that some of the services I was requesting were not yet needed or necessary at this time for my vehicle. This type of honestly is not something you get everywhere, especially as a woman with very little vehicle maintenance knowledge. There are too many places that are so eager to take your money. I only came because I had a Groupon. The place isnt even listed on a Google map. They only had one technician. The first time i came he left early (4:10 pm). The second time I came he was on an extended lunch break (2:10 PM). I had to come back again. He was working on tires and they "squeezed me in". The guy came to get my keys with an attitude. He was filthy coming from the shop and got in my car. They need to hire at least two more technicians, clean up their act and check their attitude. I felt sorry for the gal scheduling things...she has to take the brunt of the companies neglegence. I'll pay more to go to Valvoline. I came in to get my oil changed and brake pad replacements. Moe inspected my car first and showed me what needed work and what just needed cleaning and maintenance. He even educated me in the process. Basically, front brakes did need replacement while back brakes just needed cleaning and maintenance, along with oil change and tire rotation. All of this for a really good price! Moe and his crew went above and beyond, and I could tell they did everything with principles. I know nothing about cars and they could've easily fooled me, but after consulting with some friends, I was reassured that Moe gave me a good deal. Honest work, great service, reasonable pricing and wait time! For that, I will be back for more future car services. Definitely recommend this place! read more

Later took 2 hours to put antifreeze in the car, I had called before I went in to make sure they had time. 2 hours later time to pay, bill came out to $450. I called because car was still doing the same problem they told me to come in and it's free. they switched out what they thought it was, and car is the same and again they had me pay $400. The receptionist with tattoos does not know anything. I was trying to make an appt to get my car fix, I was trying to tell her that I already got the quote from there & just needed the work done. She kept on not wanting to listened. I made an appointment the next very day in the morning, it was a waste of time, because they never got to my car the whole day. Receptionist said she would call/text me, but never did. I had to call to see what was going on, by that time was too late & no where was there to answer my question but a technician who knew nothing about the situation.
