I went to World Tires in Hollywood after calling and being clearly told the total price for a new tire would be $99 including taxes, installation, and everything. That was the only reason I agreed to go. However, when I was ready to pay, the person suddenly changed the story and said taxes were not included -- even though I was very specific over the phone. I still paid out of respect, but I felt misled. Changing the final price after I was already there is not honest or professional. If you go here, I strongly recommend you get the full price in writing before accepting any service. read more

They were professional, kind, patient, informative, and most important, honest. I accidentally drove over a big screw and a separate nail in the same tire. So many other shops told me I needed to change my tires and Will simply told me that my tires were still good and he could patch the tire even though the dealership told me they could not be patched. Came here only because for one they were the few tire shop open after 2 in the area. Also of all the stores that I called and check to see if they had my tire size this place was the only one that had used ones in my size. Don't get me wrong I'll do a new tire in a heartbeat but money kinda tight. But even the used tire was of good quality. Also they even changed my brakes too. And the repair guy wasn't even pushing me to get it changed it was more like "aye when you get a chance change it." Which I can appreciate them not just trying to get a sale. read more

I have been using them for the past few years for tire services. However, they also do other auto work and just had my brakes done this week. Omar was so nice and knowledgeable. Also, super honest----YES, can you believe it LOL! Seriously, I find them consistently good and reasonable. I've even used their tow service ($50) to bring my car in for a new tire replacement, as well. My roadside assistance would only tow me to the dealer-eye roll. I visited World Tires on a Saturday morning. I had 4 tires that wanted replaced as well as alignment. I was there 30 mins prior to opening at 8am. They immediately asked how they could help me. Two technicians immediately went to work on my car. While one was removing the tires from the car, the other removed old tires and replaced with the tires I had brought and balanced them. This was done very efficiently. Then another technician mounted my vehicle on the alignment machine and within 40 mins he was done. In total it took a little over and hour to get everything done. Stopped in to get a flat tire plugged and they pointed out that I had literally ZERO brake pads left! Was about to lend my car to my cousin with his 3 little kids! Appreciate the honesty- i wouldn't have known better if they'd said I needed all 4 & it was nice to not be taken advantage of for not knowing better. Fantastic service! Had a slow leak in the rear tire of my Audi Q5 while visiting in Hollywood, FL. on a SUNDAY!!!!! They were open from 9:00 AM - 5:00PM. It only took 15 minutes for Wilson to find the leak where the rim & tire meet. UNREPAIRABLE!!! They sold me a used (very little wear) Pirelli tire for $60. Mounted the tire on my rim, balanced the tire & replaced on vehicle. I was in and out & on my way home in less than 45 minutes!! VERY NICE & HONEST PEOPLE! read more

My dealer told me I needed four new tires It was going to cost me close to $500 so I just swung in the other day and spoke with Joe who told me about these awesome slightly slightly used tires that they get from the dealer maybe used on a test car that they can't keep on new cars they're selling tread was perfect You couldn't tell they weren't brand new It cost me $45 attire.. They are very fast and got me a good deal on 4 brand new tires. They are always fast, helpful, and good at what they do. A lot of those guys work on mostly tips, so if you can spare some change, do it. Also, when you have your tires changed, they charge you for disposal, if you keep your tires (we use them in our yard to protect baby trees from our crazy dogs) you save money and you get a return on your investment. read more

I had a very bad experience at this business. I was quoted $80 to have my tires changed with tires that I provided. After the job was completed, they charged me $139.10 while claiming the job was more difficult than expected and the tires were too big for the price quoted. They forced me to pay the new price even though it was their mistake. One of the employees outside was extremely unprofessional and said Just pay the bill and don't be cheap. He also said he is only doing this to help us out and that he is tired. I don't know what that has to do with anything as he is being paid to do his job. I was also charged sales tax in Florida when they only provided labor and no parts. read more

Worst place to go for service!!!! I went in on a Saturday for an alignment wait time was almost an hour keep in mind I got there when they open. Now after waiting for so long I drive off and my car is still pulling to the right!! I call them and ask to speak to a manager, he gets on the phone and tells me to come back tomorrow. I get there on that Sunday for the manager to tell me they don't do alignments on Sunday's and who did I speak to.. At that moment I was furious.. Don't ask me who I spoke to, you should already know!! Now I come back on Monday an the lady that's sitting at the desk hardly understands a word that I'm saying just like the rest of there staff.. I had to create a Yelp account just for this terrible experience. On November 4th i decided to give these guys a try due to the relative close location it is to my home. I drive a 2008 Nissan 350z and I am currently in a real financial bind that prompted me to buy at the very least two used tires for the rear of the vehicle. Now as anyone could guess used tires do NOT include a warranty granted it is a used product. however my complaint is not the product but the rather the poor service and the general lack of knowledge of their tire techs. On November 7th I realized i had a flat tire on the rear driver side. The tech failed to notice he installed these directional tires backwards. I had no choice but to spend $60 on a tow truck and bring the car back Tire world. The same gentleman apologized and offered to fix this issue.The staff at tire world offered me another tire that had less than 4mm of tread left and was dry rotted!!!! I it was rather appalling to offer a lesser quality tire after my dissatisfaction and inconvenience and trouble it took me to get the car there in the first place. The tech went back and found another tire that was of better quality only this time HE INSTALLED A DIRECTIONAL TIRE BACKWARDS FOR THE SECOND TIME. luckily i noticed his mistake and corrected him on it immediately. At this point i was already at tire world for an hour and a half for one tire!!!! Frustrated the tech remounted the tire within five minutes and it did not appear the he bothered to re-balance the tire prior to reinstalling it onto my car. Today November 12th my rear passenger tire this time goes flat. I had no choice but to take time from work again to correct this issue. This time around after the tire was removed from the rim i immediately noticed a SIDEWALL PATCH JOB WAS DONE TO THIS TIRE! This is an incorrect way to service any tire and is never recommended to mount on any vehicle yet alone a Nissan sports car. The fact that TIRE WORLD is selling patch tires on the inner side wall is a crime and a very dishonest gesture for people looking for tires on a tight budget. I tried to bargain with them of some type of solution maybe a credit or a new tire for all this inconvenience and bad service. Instead they re offered me the same bad dry rotted tire from the first incident!!!! I have contacted filled a complaint with the better business bureau and i have lawyer and good friend investigating on possible further action. Oh yeh not to mention that same tech scratched both of my powder coated wheels in which they had nothing to say about that. im very upset and dissatisfied with this horrible service and i pledge to never go there or refer any one at TIRE WORLD EVER AGAIN. read more
