I opted for blackout liner for both window treatments to slow the afternoon warmup in my house and it makes a huge difference. Although I discovered a couple of manufacturing related issues following the installation process, World Class's Team of experts, Christina and Rainier, immediately sprung into action to resolve the issue as soon as I called them. I had needed new shades in my kitchen and saw that Costco was sponsoring World Class. A gentleman came out and measured the 4 windows. Then he brought out styles for me to look at. I opted for grey solar shades because 1) the sun beats down on the kitchen, especially in the summertime and 2) tired of water spots showing. I bought them and about 3 weeks later, they were installed. Easy to pull up and easy to clean. The entire staff was excellent! read more

Salesman: He did a great job convincing us. I was unsure on the frame and installation where the shutter is too prominent...meaning like a couch too big in a small room. He did a great job in this instance; the shutters look good. He told me that he will be here during installation but he didn't come on the 1st or 2nd day. I texted him the broken piece shutter and he texted me back with message "let me call you in just a bit" and he did not call me back. I cc'd him when I texted the home office and not once commented nor replied. I guess once I signed the dotted line, his job is finished! Installation: - There was a broken piece and they were not transparent on how it was fixed. The broken piece is not fixable as far as know: by applying glue or putting a screw to attach it. However they told me they fixed it but they didn't tell me how and would not tell me which window has the broken piece. I have windows that are 20 ft high and I can't inspect them without long ladder. By watching them install, they were not meticulous to ensure it is straight and placed the shutter properly before putting a nail. Once the shutter is up in the window, the nail gun is fired immediately without ensuring whether it's square or not. The humongous window was the same way and could have taken more time to ensure its balance and could have done better job. But, overall they did ok job of installing. - caulking: caulking was terrible. They did not take the time to caulk the holes. There's not enough caulking especially the big window, the holes where the screws were placed are deep with barely enough caulking on them. They just slapped caulking and wipe it without much care. The nails are left visible; the paint should have been applied so it's not visible. I ask them if I can have one of small container paint and they did left me one; I guess it is my job now to make sure all the nails are painted. - the holes in the windows frame where they took out the old shutters were not caulked and so there 's holes that I need to fill with filler and caulk. The way they caulked, I decided to do it myself and not let them return and do the caulking on the holes that they left without caulking. I will do a better job even I'm not a pro. - there were nails or screws at the bottom of the frame on one shutter that is 20 FT high and the nails or screws were visible and I ask that it be painted. I do not have to ask, it should have been done automatic and it looks much better; otherwise, it looks like an eye or a dot on the frame. read more

It took awhile to get our order completed... about 6 weeks. Installation was done in a timely manner. The 2 guys that came by to install was very efficient. The only issue had I had was they offered to get rid of my old blinds. I assumed they would take it away and dispose of it. After they left, I could see that the old blinds was placed in my neighbors side of the street, just lying there.They should have just come back to my door and told me that they couldn't take it away. Installers were on time and friendly. The problem is the quality of the Graber blinds are of the poorest quality possible. One of window coverings has ben replaced three times and still not right. Three other ones do not work properly and the Word glass company said we signed the paper work that said we accepted the blinds and even though they do not work we have no choice but to keep them even now two more have broken. It appears you did not read my rating nor do you know the situation that occurred. Firstly, I made an appointment 2 weeks an advance and insured that I would be available at that time. There is no excuse for tardiness without even advising me or the courtesy and respect to be told about this. How can you claim that customer service and respect is the so important to you and that I am being treated in a respectful manner? Secondly, I don't understand how your company does not have the basic comprehension of basic technology such as email. On top of this, I have to wait during my work hours for my documents to be prepare. You do not have the same hours as Costco, that is a lie. I had to completely rearrange my schedule multiple times to even get my inital order. Let me be clear, IT IS YOUR FAULT the credit card transaction did not go through. I cleared my entire balance and asked for a balance increase just to make sure I would not have any issues with my purchase. When I was told there was an error with my credit card, I sent a picture of my credit card and my credit card statement to insure that your staff had the correct information. I'm not sure what else I could have done to make this easier for them. Despite this, I had to take time out of my work to contact Citi and Costco to address the concerns. I spoke with 4 different supervisors at Citi, 1 supervisor at Costco and 1 fraud prevention supervisor at Citi. ALL of them looked into the issue and ALL of them said there was nothing wrong with credit card or the transaction. The problem was your company is inputting the information wrong. In fact, the last supervisor I spoke with ran the transaction and advised that there was no issues with it going through with the information provided. Despite this your staff ran my credit card 9 times and every time did it wrong. I requested that a supervisor contact me and never did. I'm not sure why there was no supervisor or manager involved when your staff is having issues running a card 9 times. I see that you took the time to answer my post and yet could not take the time to contact me to address the issue. Your staff did not offer me any solutions to the problem other than asking for another credit card. Why would a different credit card be useful when it has the same information I provided with the first? I am purchasing a Costco product, with a Costco Credit Card, that I sent you a picture of along with a picture of the statement, called Costco and Costco credit card. What else could I do to insure the transaction? Why has this issue not been addressed by a supervisor? You took the time to write me a very lengthy response but not the respect to give me a call. Per the business reply to my original review, their designers have been there a very long time. This is not true in my situation. How do I know you ask? Well, I allowed her to borrow my stool to take measurements as she did not have all the equipment and told me she had just recently started! I will add the designer was kind and courteous. However, not all the options were provided and it would have been nice to know there were different panel configurations at the time of appointment. There is nothing world class with World Class Window Coverings. Why Costco does business with them is beyond my comprehension. Absolute failure. And to the Owner/Manager who will read this, spare me your generic reply. I inquired at Costco for Graber blinds and this is the company that contracts with Costco. Long story short. I ordered blinds for my sliding doors. First scheduled installation: valance was missing and I had to wait. Why would the company schedule an installation when all products needed to complete the project is missing?! 2nd installation day: valance on hand but missing hardware for installation. How in the world does this happen? Spoke with Maria Diaz who is project manager and her response: "it happens and we're humans.." BALONEY!! To have two failed installed attempts consecutively happen is not by accident but simply failure on this company's part to ensure accurate ordering of materials. Checklist anyone?! Clearly, having similar faults happen twice in a row is not pure accident rather negligence on this company's part. Again, why Costco vets and contracts with such subpar providers is a pure shame. Never again will I bring business to this company. Can not wait until this project is over. 1 simple window treatment; 3 scheduled visits/installations; almost 6-8 weeks for completion. Chris Beitelspacher, our salesperson, was amazing! He was very personable, was honest about which blinds would fit the space (not just pushing the pricey ones), and took care in his work. After the sales portion was wrapped up, the installation process was quick, professional, and straightforward (I didn't catch any of the installers' names). We have the blinds in a high traffic, public space, and so far (they've been up for about 2 weeks) nothing is broken, they are working, and still look good! We have not had the need to contact their customer service, but the sales scheduler Lori Wichmann has been attentive and very kindly checked in on us.
