Overdue review. The guys are Custom Blinds were amazing. Great prices and got everything done as expected. The person they sent to do the build was very professional and did a great job on our windows. The window covering we got were quality products! Well worth the price. Nothing like custom you can get from Amazon. We actually had some custom honeycomb shades from Amazon and the quality is night and day. Protip. We got the black-out shades which are get 35% tax credit from the manufacturers. Look up the shades you got and bring the invoice + letter from manufacturer for additional discount!! read more

I am a born again Christian and I pray about everything. I want top notch service at a fair price! Jesus led me to this company and they were amazing to work with. If you're looking for a company of excellence, integrity, professionalism and superior customer service, you need look no further. They always responded very quickly to my texts and phone calls, which I so appreciated. They make you feel like you not only matter, but like you're the only customer they have. Never once did I feel rushed. Tony and Sean are the BEST! They know their stuff. They took all the guess work out of picking window coverings for my home. They are such an absolute joy to work with. I needed to replace window coverings in three rooms and over my slider. They came into my home. Clearly figured out my style through listening and looking at what I already had. Then they got to work presenting me with options... giving suggestions and explaining the pros and cons of each items. Once I choose the blinds, they went right to work picking out the color that would best blend with what I already had. They were absolutely fascinating to watch. I felt like I was watching a reality show. These guys absolutely love ebay they do. They strive for absolute perfection. I was having a hard time deciding what kind of covering for he slider. They showed me several options not only in the books; but pictures from other jobs. When I asked if they had a show room, Tony told me that they did not. However, he had the same window coverings over his own slider at home that I was considering and I was welcome to come by and see them in person. That was a major help. I decided to go with them. They gave me a very fair price, measured everything perfectly, always called me a half hour before arriving at me request, we're always punctual, always had a smile on their faces, and always expressed customer satisfaction was their top priority. They were not just saying that. When my blinds arrived, they scheduled an instal. They put them up and I was thrilled. However, they were not. Their was a tiny spot I didn't even notice. They tried to clean it to perfection. When they could not, they informed me that was unacceptable. They were ordering me new ones. I could keep the old ones until the new ones came in. They are perfectionist. When the new ones came in they came out and installed them to perfection. I love all my blinds. I thought this was to be an update on my first review and I can't find it. I'll be horrified if I never sent it. Ugh. Update: After having my blinds for three months, I went to sit in my recliner and it did the strangest thing. It tipped back and ripped a little hole in my new blinds. I figured I'd just have to live with it. I threw up a quick prayer, and the Holy Spirit impressed on my heart to reach out to Catalog Blinds to see if they had any way of repairing it. Tony told me they did not. However, he had totally forgotten to send back my original order. I knew then that my God was looking out for me. They would come out and install my first order at no charge to me! Upon arriving they saw the tiny rip and thought it was so low and unnoticeable that it would be best to keep the ones with the rip.... as well as leave me the other blinds in case the rip got worse. They would then come back and reinstall the first ones at no cost to me in the future. They would eat the difference. They just wanted me to be happy. I've never seen any two people love their jobs so much and truly want their customers happy above all else. These two were true gifts from God to me. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM ABOVE ALL OTHERS! HANDS DOWN! MAY GOD BLESS THEM, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THEIR BUSINESS ABOVE ALL OTHERS. AS THEY SEEK TO GIVE OTHERS EXCELLENT SERVICE AT A FAIR PRICE, THEY WILL CONTINUE TO RISE ABOVE THE REST. THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALMOST NON EXISTENT. THEY STAND HEAD AND TAILS ABOVE THE REST IN THIS INDUSTRY! THANKS GUYS! read more

Our home needed new shutters and shades. I request a price quote through Yelp and got received responses. A narrow down the finalist to schedule an appointment with. After the appointments with all of them, my final decision was Catalog Blinds. When Tony and Shawn came, they did a fantastic job explaining and demonstrating all of the different shutters and shades available. Also, they recommended what would look best in our home. They gave the best presentation and even provided a price quote on the appointment. Most other companies, did not provided a price quote right away which I had to wait a few days. I agreed to have them install the electric roller shades and shutters. You must provide half of the down payment and other half after installation. In about a month all of the items were received so they contacted me to schedule for the installation. Tony and Shawn done an amazing job which only took about 3-4 hours for installing 3 electric roller shades and 5 window shutters. Any questions you had, you can just text Tony. He's very good on responding to text quickly. If you live in Oakley, Brentwood, or Antioch area. I highly recommend Catalog Blinds for window installation. read more

Catalog Blinds provide a phenomenal experience from beginning to end. I called many companies, they either didn't have appointments available for several weeks or wouldn't have shutters and blinds available for 8 weeks or longer, plus the prices were more than I expected. I called Catalog Blinds, Tony and Shawn, the owners of Catalog Blinds came out the same afternoon, took my measurements, provided the options and quoted 4-5 week turnaround time, their prices and turnaround time were better than anyone and they only deal with the best products made in the USA, we picked Hunter Douglas shutters. I just got them delivered and installed on December 14th on a Sunday, in less than 4 weeks. We had 10 shutters and 5 blinds installed, they are beautiful. Isaac, the installer handled everything with care, made sure everything fit perfectly and made sure to be careful with all his tools and ladders so he wouldn't accidentally scuff up any of our floors and walls. I highly recommend Catalog Blinds, would give them more stars if we could, top notch all around! read more

I ended up not needing Catalog Blinds but I have to say that if/when I do, I'll select them. Not only did the owner take the time to find an answer about my custom blinds for me, when it turned out that the replacement I was looking for isn't made, he didn't try to get me to buy something I didn't need. This review has been long overdue. Shawn and Tony are the best! I found them on Yelp and they reponded right away to my text. They make good suggestions on the type of shutters and or blind. They work fast, they're early and they fulfill the promised installation date and even earlier. They came out and first did my living room, kitchen and dining. After a few months, i called them again for shutter (Hunter Douglas) installation in all of the rooms. I am very satisfied. Its a little expensive but its worth it. Its quality! You dont have to do the whole house right away. They can even come out and install just one window. They're not pushy, they listen and carry out what you want them to do. The shutters made a big difference. I felt like i have a new house! I am a happy customer read more

Tony/Catalog Blinds are busy folks but they're very responsive, provide excellent customer service, provided a great product, and they're absolutely honest & transparent. I initially contacted them to get a quote for shutters at my home. They came over measured all my windows, showed me samples and options, and provided me 3 separate quotes (downstairs only, up & downstairs, and upstairs/downstairs/sliding door). During this process he was honest, provided great suggestions, and left it all up to me to decide after loading me with information. He kept all my window/quotes so when I was ready, he'd be ready too. As soon as we made our decision, I sent him a text, he sent us the route to make payment via text/online, and he made the orders the following day. ~4 weeks past, he texts me to schedule an installing date for downstairs only. It so turns out when he arrives he's installing all the windows!!They knew I was busy with back to back meetings/work during installation day, so they were respectful and did what they had to do while I went about my day working. These brothers are a dynamic duo - I'd recommend them to anyone! Excellent customer service, provides great product, seamless process, comes prepared (masks, samples, show covers, etc), responsive, transparent, & competitive pricing. We were getting new windows replaced and also needed new blinds. I reached out to a couple of companies on yelp for a ballpark number on price. I needed to find something that fit my budget and we knew what we wanted. Tony was able to help me through yelp. Other companies wanted to come in person before giving me an answer. I already had a lot of people coming in and out of the house. I didn't have time for another group of people to come in and out when I knew what I wanted. I really appreciated Tony's help, I knew he was not in it for the money. That was a big reason I chose Catalog Blinds and of course all of the amazing pictures on yelp. I also love to support small local businesses, so another plus for choosing them. We ordered blinds, shutters, and a honeycomb shade. The process from ordering to installation was very easy and efficient. The team was very friendly, helpful, and clean. They answered all our questions and provided feedback/recommendations. They took care of our home with respect. We love the blinds, shutters, and shade. The styles/look that Tony helped pick out/recommend came out beautiful for our home. Tony and Shaun are the best. Wonderful and quick service. Offered great suggestions that I hadn't thought about regarding window covering for a multi-slide door. Finished product looks fantastic. Tony & Shawn definitely know what they're doing. Out of the other two companies that I've inquired with- I had the best impression with Tony & Shawn. They came to my home ready with samples, answered all our questions, & after deciding to go with them, they quickly measured all windows. Talked us through all the options, even suggested what would look good for our windows. The best yet, their prices came in very close to what the other two companies has quoted us for, but wasn't hunter douglas. With Tony & Shawn, we got our Hunter Douglas shutters & they look so, so good! They estimated it'd be about a month wait, but it actually came in a lot sooner. Steve & his assistant who installed our shutters worked very quickly as well. I definitely don't regret my decision of working with Tony & Shawn & would definitely hire them again! read more

Tony and Shawn are wonderful - prompt, knowledgeable, helpful and we are thrilled with their work. We had them install shutters at our previous home and called them again when we moved to replace existing aging shades that the previous homeowner had installed. They suggested a fabric and color they thought would work well with our home design for our kitchen slider and for our office/guest room. They also measured one slider we undecided on - just in case - and good thing. We liked the kitchen shades so much, we decided to do the same for our other slider and they quickly placed the order. Isaac is wonderful as well and makes the installation look so easy. He put everything up and both rooms looked absolutely perfect. We can't wait for our third installation at this new house. I do not usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to write a review for this business. We just had shutters and roman shades installed by them.
