Great experience with installing 3 different shades in my house! Would definitely use them again

They're absolutely the best! I asked them to provide a qumanual roller shades. They visited my home to take precise measurements, and told me all about the materials the shades use, where they're made, and what would be best for the atmosphere I'd like to create. I went with the mushroom color, and it goes well with the brick. And the value was great. Almost two years later the shades are holding up very well. read more

Grace Shades did an amazing job replacing the blinds in my living room and bedroom with beautiful custom drapes! I found them through Yelp, and Sue was quick to respond and arrange a free consultation. Jean and Judy were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. They brought many fabric samples, took the time to explain my options, and made sure I was comfortable with my choices and budget. When the drapes arrived from Korea, Jean was very accommodating in working around my schedule. Judy and David came on a weekday evening to install the drapes. They spent over two hours carefully removing my old blinds and installing the new drapes. Even though it was getting late, they never rushed and made sure everything was done properly. They also cleaned up everything afterward, including the packaging, and hauled away my old blinds. The finished drapes are beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Everyone at Grace Shades was thoughtful, accommodating, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. I highly recommend Grace Shades to anyone looking for custom drapes, and I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends! read more

We had a wonderful experience with Grace Shades from start to finish. Jean was incredibly responsive, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process -- truly going above and beyond. Everyone else we met on the team was equally great to work with. We ended up getting beautiful blackout curtains for our primary bedroom and honeycomb shades for the rest of the house (a mix of up/down and up/down + down/up). We're really happy with how everything turned out. The blackout curtains have dramatically improved our sleep quality. When a couple of minor issues came up, they stood by the quality of their product and resolved them without any extra charges. Highly recommend Grace Shades if you're looking for quality window treatments and a team that genuinely cares about getting it right. read more

The team from Grace Shades was a pleasure to work with. They are responsive, professional, punctual, have excellent attention to detail, and, most importantly, creative. I mention 'creative' because to ensure my blackout draperies blocked out all light, the team had to think outside of the box to make it work. What initially seemed like a straightforward task took on a life of its own, but the team worked through the issues and came up with a solution that I'm pleased with. If you don't measure it, you can't manage it. I wanted blackout draperies because I wanted to improve my sleep. I track my sleep quality via an Eight Sleep mattress and an Oura Ring. I'm pleased to report that after installing the blackout draperies, my sleep score has improved significantly. This installation has probably added years to my life. I highly recommend Jean, Michael, and the rest of the Grace Shades team. read more

We got shades for our new home living room/hall area windows. We had some special skylights too attached to our vertical windows. Jean, Mike and the whole team did a great job right from the first meeting and communication part to completion. Very professional, good to talk to, and very careful during installation to maintain cleanliness and even paying attention to small details and alignment. They themselves volunteered to remind me of small fixings they could do, even though I did not make a big deal about it. I've had the shades for a few days and they are holding up well and our home looks beautiful. read more

It was really great knowing these people. They drove all the way from Fremont to Fresno twice to install my drapes and make things right. They were efficient in their work and the service they provide. Also they thrive on making everything the way you wanted and to your satisfaction. The value is a bit high, but then again you get what you pay for and I did wanted a lot of things in drapes. They are also extremely friendly and polite. Thank you Grace Shades. read more

Absolute 5/5 to the Grace Shades Team!! It was such a smooth and headache free process working with Mike, Jean and Wylie - from estimates, to precise measurements, to installation. Their roller shades are gorgeous with many designs to choose from, and we found the perfect color to match our walls. During the install, the team was extra careful with their equipment and ladders on our hardwood floor, which I so greatly appreciated. They definitely treat your home with care! Within a week, one of our shades needed a little bit more spring action to retract the blind. I reached out to them, and they came over the next day. Not only do you want a fantastic product, but a company you can trust who will be there for you and your blinds in the future! read more

Great working with this team. Their prices are considerably cheaper than the competition and the quality is great. We went with 8 motorized shades and they have their own general contractor partnership making the full install easy. They are very nice and considerate and sent out many people to take a look at the job and measure accurately. So far the shades have worked well. read more

We worked with Grace Shades in November-December 2024 and cannot recommend their business highly enough! I was helping my mom get her rental home updated with new blinds in order to get it listed. We reached our to several business both through Yelp and directly. Grace responded so quickly and accommodated my working schedule to setup a time when both my mom and I could meet them at the property to review samples and they could measure to give an estimate. They were so communicative about every step and arrived right on time. They were super friendly and professional and brought SO MANY samples and options to look at! While my mom and I chatted with Jeanie, Mike walked around and carefully measured each window. Working with Jeanie felt more like being in a high end fashion boutique than picking out shades, we talked about the materials, transparency, how different light would look through them, and she was so consultative to help us make the right choice! Once we picked the shades we wanted for each room, they said they'd provide an estimate within a few days. That arrived very quickly, and the price was even lower than some others with lesser quality materials and service. The warranty for both the product and service was also so much better than the other places. Incredible value! They order directly from the manufacturer with whom they work and shades arrived in only about four weeks. The installation was absolutely perfect, quick, and so efficient and tidy! They were done fast and quality is outstanding. Again cannot recommend Grace Shades highly enough, we will absolutely work with them again should we have the need! read more

There are very responsive and reliable. Good price and very good products. I hired them again for another project.

We worked with Grace Shades to fit motorized roller shades in our new house (there were a LOT of windows), and we had a really smooth and pleasant experience from start to finish. We hired Grace Shades to install room darkening roller blinds in our daughter's bedroom and they provided excellent customer service throughout the process. (1) Price Estimates Grades Shades was able to provide highly competitive price estimates to me via email. We obtained estimates from a few different companies. (2) Measurements They sent over a team of three to take measurements. They were on-time and super polite. Also, they brought sample fabrics for us to choose from. (3) Installation After we placed our deposit, they placed an order for our custom fit blind. It took a few weeks for the blind to come in. However, once it arrived, the team reached out to schedule installation with availability the next day. Installation was fast and super smooth. Overall, I was very happy with the experience. Great pricing and excellent customer service. I will definitely contract Grace Shades again the next time I need window treatments. read more

We were serviced by the Grace Shades team for a very specific top-bottom and bottom-top design. It was very hard to find other services who had this product design. When we did find a servicer, we were quoted over $3k and a wait time of 6 to 8 weeks. Upon reaching out to Grade Shades, they were showing us samples within two days. They had a variety of materials to choose from with the exact design functionality we had in mind. They were transparent about the pricing and did not try to up-sell us on anything we did not need. Our blinds were ordered and installed within 2 weeks. The whole process from consultation to installing took less than 3 weeks. The cherry on top? It only cost us a bit shy of $1000 with installation and removal of our own blinds. Remember, other companies quoted over $3000. They were, by far, the most efficient, honest, and responsive service company I've ever worked with & definitely have our future business. Thank you so much to your friendly team! You made this process so easy and affordable! You deserve all 5 stars and then some more read more

My family and I are extremely satisfied with the excellent quality products and customer services that Grace Shades has provided.

Grace Shades team was great! They made sure everything fit right and made sure I was taken care of. Most importantly when they were done they made sure the area was clean. For reference, one of my window was not squared causing the shades to not close; they took the initiative to tell me and provided a solution to fix the issue by fabricating a new shade. I love my shades and how it soften the natural lights coming in! Most importantly the price was fair for 4 roller shades. read more

We were referred Michael Kim after moving into a new home for some window treatments. I immediately noticed his entrepreneur spirit and it clearly showed in all of our interactions. Unlike dealing with typical big box stores, Michael came over after hours for an initial consultation the very next day and left behind samples for us to be able to see how the blinds look under the different lightings throughout the day. We ultimately went with the smart curtain option, which had tons and tons of color selection. This was good and bad for us as we were trying to come up with the color combinations that we would like. Michael and his team came over to do the installation the week following our initial consultation.... note that this would take at least 2 months from a typical big box store. We just couldn't endure being an exposed animal in a zoo for any longer, so this was a no brainer! At first, I was impressed with Michael's service and friendliness, but my mind was blown when the actual product got installed! The window treatment that he recommended transformed the looks of our house! We opted for a neutral two color combination that was customer made for ceiling attachment. This made our house look HUGE! At night, we get complete privacy while indoor lighting illuminates the beautiful curtain, and natural light piercing through the curtain during the day gave us the warm cozy feeling. Not only does the product look amazing, but it is also dust resistant and the curtain and be individually detached for washing! Overall, we highly recommend the product to anyone that is looking for a high quality material, that looks great, delivers fast, and has better value than the traditional curtain solution. But most important, customer service from Michael Kim is top notch. read more

They have a lot of innovative stylish blinds that you don't see in big box retailers like HomeDepot. The price is lower because they directly ship from Korea. Despite the international shipping, they can install within 3 weeks. HomeDepot quoted us 2 months. They also dispose the old blinds for free. Mike has great customer service and has the customer is always right attitude that's rare in today's Bay Area market. He came back a couple times to adjust & replace the blinds to our satisfaction. That's after we paid him. He said his goal is not to make money right now but to garner good reviews because they are relatively new. If there is one area for improvement, I would say the blinds could have been thicker so it would completely black out the lights. read more

Everything was handled professionally from the beginning. From measuring for the blinds, the order process, to the installation. Everything was handled first rate. There were no surprises. My wife and I enjoy the quality of the blinds, and at the price point they are very nice too. Our home is very well lit from natural lighting, and our neighbors are unable to view into our living spaces as well. The blinds are exactly what we had ordered. And we received the order without surprises. Grace Shades had made it possible to order from an extensive portfolio of shades, which was really awesome. Pictured below the shades are opened to allow light in, without compromising on our personal space and privacy. read more

When we moved into our new home a month ago, we knew one of the first things we wanted to have completed was roller shades/blinds installed. We contacted many companies in the area for quotes. Grace shades was one of the first companies to respond to our quote requests. They were also able to quote us the most competitive price and installation turnaround time. They were about $200-1200 cheaper and about 2 weeks faster than most Bay Area companies. I believe Home Depot was similar pricing but estimated 3-4 months waiting period. I'm sure Home Depot's products don't compare to Grace Shades. We did have one minor hiccup that was out of Grace Shade's control. Unfortunately, the shipping company in Korea that the shade company uses went on strike. This delayed us 1.5 weeks. Our product were just installed by Mike and another team member. So far they look amazing! Very excited for the black out capability for our bedroom roller blinds/shades. Also, we very grateful Mike made our living and dining room shades motorized...it adds such a special touch for those rooms! Overall, we would recommend this company! Thank you Grace Shades! read more

Although I didn't go with them (they didn't have the color choice I wanted even though they had a lot of selections) I had to write a review and recommend them. Jean, sales person, is very professional and kind. She and the gentleman (who came out to measure) were on time for the consultation. Received the bid the next day and she answers your questions promptly! How refreshing is that now a days when customer service seems to be non-existent!
