But I save a special place for the zero-star shops, and this is one of them, Bruno. This place is comically awful. I've unfortunately had to come here a half-dozen times over the past 20 years, and it's been the worst customer service every single time. The owner used to keep absurd signs behind the counter mocking customers for asking "stupid" questions. One sign even had a comment about "shooting" people for asking "stupid questions." His wife and kids are actually fine. But the owner, Bruno, is not friendly at all. He specializes in customer disservice. Last week I had to drop off an overnight envelope and asked for a receipt. Reasonable request, right? High-priority overnight package, you'd like proof you handed it over? Not here. His response: "What, you don't trust us? Does a drop box give you a receipt?" Bruno, a drop box is a locked, tamper-resistant steel container. You think it's acceptable to toss people's time-critical, valuable packages into an open cardboard box that's kept on the customer side of the counter? Ever hear of something called "mail theft"? Your lack of package security is appalling. So no, I absolutely don't trust you. Every corporate FedEx and UPS location hands you a receipt at drop-off. Shame on you for refusing and giving me a hard time! The owner does not care about you. He's nasty, rude, and disrespectful -- a jerk in every sense. Read the other reviews; this isn't an anomaly. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some serious skeletons in that closet. If you're in the area, please go somewhere else. There's a very well-run UPS Store across the street. If you need a FedEx drop-off, do yourself a favor and find another location. Caveat emptor.

And during that time, I've gotten to know Patrick on a personal level, and also seen him interact with his customers, and even my own 7 year old. Long story short, Patrick is the man. He truly cares about his work, and his customers. He is thorough, and will go the extra mile to make sure everything is executed perfectly. Not to mention, he's just an all-around great guy. I'm shocked at the 1-star reviews, and wouldn't be surprised if some of these people are just bitter, or unrealistic in their expectations in the first place. C'mon people...this is a Postal Annex, not the Ritz Carlton....cut the guy some slack if you don't get a red carpet rollout. But all that aside, Patrick's character speaks for itself.
