The guy who worked there helped me with the request and it was a definitely a cute bowl that I use for oatmeal in the morning and soups during lunch time at work. The second time around shopping here, I needed a reusable porcelain spoon and washable / reusable chopsticks. After looking around the store, I found them near the cashier station. At least I found what I was looking for without assistance the second time around, which was very nice. They had assorted knives and other gadgets that help with meal preparation, along with pans and other items that would make your life in the kitchen better and easier. And of course, if you love Uber or Lyft, there's that option too as well. Owning high carbon Japanese knives can be a bit challenging, especially when it comes to…read moresharpening. Over the years I've collected a numerous amount of high carbon steel blades from Japan, each one serving its own purpose. And I've tried my best to sharpen them on my own. I found that I can get the knives somewhat sharp, but not as sharp as when I first bought these beautiful knives. I discovered Airframes Tokyo through a friend of mine. I took two of my hardest knives, a large Debba and a long sashimi knife. Both of these blades are single bevel with a concave back. I found it very difficult to get these razor-sharp. A-frames Tokyo took care of these two knives in a single day all hand sharpen, and I received them looking like they were brand new. I went out immediately and bought a block of bluefin tuna to test out a sashimi, knife, and boy it did not disappoint. If you're looking to sharpen knives of any kind American Japanese German this is your place. I would highly recommend. There's plenty of parking and lots of fresh produce in the same building.
