Recently, my exhaust fan broke down and I had a hard time finding a replacement but they fixed the motor immediately when I brought it to them so I was able to open my business sooner than expected and not be closed for a whole week which was great. I found sleeves of cups that my mom likes to use to serve certain desserts. It's challenging to find these disposable cups! I had looked everywhere for them! Now, I find them for $3 ... wow! Nadine C suggested to check this place out which I'm so happy I did though the location is in the Lagoon Drive area which we all know the parking situation is tough though they do have a few stalls right in front of the biz many do drive by and double park behind you so if you find a street parking it's totally suggested the best way to avoid getting blocked. The door is to the left of the building and is actually the Will Call area though they do have a lot of shelves to display their inventory which does include cleaning chemicals, food containers, gloves and many items that you just don't see like foam trays. Easy access and as you enter IM, there is a compact front showcase section that shows much of what IM carries for wholesale and retail. So many choices here! I met Eric, one of the two owners, who work tirelessly here. It's amazing how much inventory is carried in this business. Need 10 lbs of frozen peeled avocados? Look no further. My highlight were the spices sold in bulk. Seemed like a pretty good deal if you can handle a pound of allspice. They also have a dazzling array of kitchen gadgets and supplies. I liked the mixing bowl that was about the size of a kids' pool. I bet you can marinate a whole pig in that thing. My wife lamented that she can buy many of the gadgets for the same cost or cheaper on Amazon or other kitchen places. She wound up buying a few squeeze bottles for her sauces. It seems like the customers here are exclusively in the restaurant biz, and we felt a little unwelcome walking around this busy warehouse. The first to cashiers we tried wanted nothing to do with us. Although the shop is small, they have a variety of Hawaii snacks including many with li hing powder. There were even a lot of snacks here that I found in Japan which was amazing to see so I grabbed a lot of those. Comparing these prices to other stores around the island, we found that Wholesale Unlimited was the best bang for our buck. The worker (I never got her name) was so friendly! We were chatting about some of her favorite snacks and we got to sample some as well.
