Generally in furniture stores I feel you get mobbed but this was so far in the other direction where it seemed there wasn't anyone even working in this ghost town. I went about checking out chairs. Turns out they don't update their online inventory well so that most of what I found online before driving out here wasn't actually available. I came across one nice guy finally who apparently was a stock person. He was able to confirm certain chairs weren't available, and was very nice to hep me, but said I had to find a sales person to get more info on a few things. He took me up to a very exasperated person who helped but was rushed and didn't quite pay attention to what I was saying for the situation. The front desk gal that ended up checking me out was very nice. the chair I picked out was not marked, the gal that priced it was quoting me for a table which I wasn't even asking for and had to remind her of twice, and then seemingly just made a price up for the chair I was actually asking for which I'm not sure was really worth the price. I probably should have just walked out and went elsewhere....the chair I got is in great condition but I just don't think worth the cost for ONE chair. I get it for what they want to sell in bulk office space wise, but considering my office is soon to be looking for furniture, I have learned a valuable lesson of where we shouldn't go. No refunds for used which is what the bulk of the store was that I saw.

Well, we can't keep everything in stock." I told her we drove a half an hour to get here to see that chair and I was unaware that it wasn't in stock. She asked where we drove from. I told her North Arvada. She replied." There's no way it took you a half an hour. It's a 15 minute drive I live in Broomfield. I know where you live". I cannot believe the unprofessionalism rudeness and laughing when I complained about the drive for nothing. She had the gall to ask if we wanted to look at anything else. I said absolutely not. We will go someplace else with our business. I thought this was an upscale furniture store with professional staff members. We should have been told the chair was not in stock. We should not have been treated rudely and flippantly. Do not give this place your business.

Turns out the "clearance" cabinet was actually backordered on a container ship overseas. Their own invoice showed the items as B/O at time of sale. When I asked for a fair resolution, the owner: * Repeatedly ignored my requests to communicate via email * Hid behind Terms and Conditions, then contradicted them by threatening to cancel my order * Gave me four different delivery timelines, none of which held * Blamed BDI, the shipping company, and the weather * Offered me a net $50 discount and called it "reasonable and fair" * Gave me 33 minutes via email to accept an offer or he'd cancel The moment I asked him to commit to an actual delivery date with accountability, he cancelled the order and refunded my deposit.
