Big props to the print shop. I needed some business cards printed like yesterday as I was on my way to represent for a charity event. They were able to print me 100 cards plus a 25% up charge for expedited service in which it took them less than 10 minutes to print and trim. Came in to order some business cards and while the associate was nice he basically said he was just about to get off and they were too busy at the time to create a custom order (I had a physical copy of the card I needed recreated) and to come back next week sometime with a PDF of what I wanted and they could probably help then. I just went into this store and asked the young man working in the printing area if he would help me. He came over and placed the written instructions on top of the machine and said here's the instructions. Then I couldn't get the code to work from my email so he comes over and makes it a point to tell me I put the code in wrong, he said it twice. Then he walked away again. I left the store and asked to speak to the manager. Again he was very rude. I told him I'm 65 yrs old probably older than your mother so hopefully you've never talked to her like you're talking to me. I told him he's very disrespectful and his customer service skills are seriously lacking. He said to me I can't believe you're talking about my dead mother and that's a sensitive subject with me. So obviously he put himself in victim mode and acted as though I was the problem. Sir I don't know who ever made you a manager but you may need a customer service course because you definitely don't talk to elderly people asking for help the way you spoke to me was beyond disrespectful!! Every couple of years I try the copy/print section of this store and every time I wish I hadnt. This time ~ 430p on 9/7/25 might have been the worst. i had a big job with lots of laying down receipts in groups.. One person working in the section and a machine that jammed 8/9 + times. The guy kept walking away and his "fixes" never worked. Then he walked over to the checkout lane to talk to another employee he didnt come back, I tried to sign out and couldnt. Poor customer service especially at print center. Most of the time I have visited this location they are short handed on staff, and you have to wait to get checked out. I stop by to drop off a binding project to pick up at another time. I was told they could not take my order, and to come back tomorrow morning. I work from 9am-5pm. Did not understand why after driving to this location for 20 minutes an order could not be placed to pick up another order. I'm surprised this location is still open. read more

On Monday 2/10/2025 I went to the Office Depot at 1150 So. Ironton Street in Havana Gardens to get 2 pages copied. I am an older person, and I am not very good with machines. I waited in line for about 10 minutes. When it was my turn, the man behind the counter was very rude when I asked for the copies. He told me I could do it myself at the copier or he'd charge me $5.00. He also told me that if I wanted to pay the $5.00 a copy I would have to wait for him come back from break in 15 or 20 minutes, and then he walked away with me standing at the counter. They can't even be bothered to help a customer. I think people need to know. read more

I'll start by saying I have had decent luck in the past using Office Depot for my company's printing needs. We regularly used them for printing building construction documents (blueprints). The price was competitive, and service was generally reliable. This all changed on our last order. I placed the order to print a plan set last Monday. That's a week ago today. I remember the order page saying we could expect it to be ready within a day or two. On Friday, I got a call from the store saying they did not have that size of paper, and they had to order it from another store and have it shipped to them. I told them on the phone we had an inspection on Monday (today), and we needed to have the plans on site. The person I was speaking with told me he would call and email when the plans were ready, but if it didn't look like it would be in time, they would fast-track it from another store. Within about an hour or so, we got an email saying the plans were ready for pick-up. I figured they must have arrived earlier than expected, and all was well. Today we went in to pick up the plans. We were told they were not in the store, and they actually said, "I told you guys we would contact you when they were ready." Okay... Then why did we get an email they were ready? If they were ready that quickly, you wouldn't have to call. "Oh, that email was automatically generated by the system. It went out by mistake." Well, if that's the case, how come we weren't contacted to say the plans had not arrived, and we were getting them shipped from another store? They just admitted that they promised a call that we never got, but in their minds the whole situation was somehow our fault. Insane. They at least tried to make it right by canceling the order and placing it at another store that actually had the paper. It was across town, so we sent someone to go pick it up. We were charged again for the print job, this time without the coupon code we originally used, so the cost was about $20 more. We sent someone to pick up the plans and deliver them to the site, so we could put this whole ordeal to bed. When my partner showed up for his meeting to go over plans, we discovered that only the last 7 of 24 pages were printed. So not only did we get charged full price for plans that were ordered a week prior, the final print had less than 1/3 of the total pages. By this point, we had enough. We called to get a refund. The person on the phone just said, "Give me the card number, and I'll refund it." Not even so much as an "I'm sorry." The incompetence here is astounding, as is their apparent disdain for their customers. It seems like this lack of service is becoming more common these days, but I'm still amazed every time I encounter another example of it! read more

I got an email saying "Lucky You, here is a special deal." I don't feel lucky. I feel cheated. I wanted that special Email Exclusive deal, the kitchen scale and 3 bowls. It was supposed to be free with $75 purchase. Right! I put $175 worth of ink in my online cart, but IT WASN'T ELIGIBLE FOR THE FREE OFFER. This is frustrating, and aggravating. WHY are you excluding the things i want from these free offers.? Why would I keep being an Office Depot customer, when I can get ink at Walmart? I am seriously upset. Today i went to have the paw prints of our sweet Molly laminated. She unexpectedly had to be put down not even 2 weeks ago apparently from some genetic kidney issue. I thought I was simply going to laminate the prints for my son when the gentleman working yesterday February 18th asked me if I had a picture on my phone that I could email to them print it out and add with the paw prints, it was everything I could do to not cry it was such a wonderful idea, so that's what we did, he was so patient with the details adding the colored background and how I would lay the picture up to the paw prints it probably took a half hour, I was so thrilled and happy I went to pay him and he said no charge! it was so unexpected such a beautiful gesture it really meant everything that somebody else cared out there. I tried to buy an Brother's printer which was displayed on the floor but was informed by the sales rep that this printer wasn't available -- not there or anywhere else in the Office Depot system. When I suggested that they should take it off the display I was told that the "home office" wouldn't let them interrupt the row of displayed printers. I had made two trips to the store, talked to the sales rep to make sure this printer had all the functions I needed. I don't think this is a fair business practice. read more

Horrible customer service, don't waste your time at this location. Came here this evening (6pm 8/3) just to print a one page document and left empty handed because the print associates here just don't know how to do their jobs. 3 people working behind the counter, 3 customers in line, and it still takes forever to get just one page printed. When I arrived, only 2 people were ahead of me in line. The guy in front of me didn't have everything he needed (therefore wasn't ready to be checked out), and had to get out of line to go get the item he needed (which was a flash drive). A few minutes later, he comes back and expects to jump in front of me in line, even though when it was his turn, he wasn't ready and had to get out of line to go get more items. And guess what: instead of making him get behind me in line and wait like he should've, the male associate that was monitoring the line let him go in front of me! Rude! I only needed to print one thing, and had been ready and standing patiently in line the whole time, only for them to let this unprepared bozo cut me in line. The male associate who allowed it then starts to walk away from the counter, and I ask him if they had even started on my print job yet. His response, "Yours? Uhh, no." in a smart-mouthed and snappish way. SO unprofessional and definitely not courteous to let a full grown man skip a woman in line! He wasn't ready when it was his turn, so he should've had to wait like everyone else. MOST CERTAINLY won't be returning to this location again. read more

$14 for 50 business cards that are ready for pick up in less than 24 hours! This was great considering I needed some business cards pronto. I was tempted to order cards from fancy sites like Moo but the fastest shipping was still too slow and it was a ton more expensive. I ordered a cooker on 11/27/20, on 11/28/20 I received an email telling me my item had been shipped. On 12/06/20 I called office depot, because the tracking number they gave me for UPS was not showing any updates. Customer service told me that they sent an email, to the vendor, but they never followed thru to see if order had shipped. I was told on 12/06/2020 that they would have UPS pick up package and that I should receive update same day, that was a lie. I made a second phone call and was told to expect an update on 12/07/2020. I ordered 2 end tables on September 2 and received a confirmed order with a latest delivery date of September 24. I called to follow up on the status on September 25 and was told I would receive communication within 24 hours. This did not happen. I was then told days later that my order had been cancelled due to the vendor not being able to fulfill the order. I posted a review and Office Depot won't publish it. So they screen their reviews. They still have the tables on their website for sale even though they aren't available. I will never order from Office Depot again. I personally think this Office Depot is super overpriced but maybe that's how much office supplies is now a days. I've used their print center to place a huge order for flyers that I was told was only going to take a day. It ended up taking three days. I had paid them to put a blank or different colored sheet in between each for each business I had a flyer for so I didn't have to sort them myself and they said ok. Well, when I finally picked up my order, a lot of them were in order, but like from the businesses starting with R to Z Were completely jacked up. Weren't in order. Some looked like the ink ran out and instead of printing more they just included them. Super unprofessional. I had called to see if they could sort them because there's no way in heck during my 40+ hour week I would be able to and I needed to get said flyers out to businesses. Here's a little known secret, Office Depot has a mailing center right inside all of their stores. I go there when I'm trying to avoid the chaos of the post office. While the service here is great, I have to comment about their lack of supplies. You would think that an office supply store would maintain a working supply of products that compliment their services. I've been in on 2 different occasions to mail packages and they didn't have the boxes/envelopes that I needed. Granted they didn't have the USPS boxes, but if you're going to offer all the services of USPS, then you should keep a healthy supply of shipping materials. read more

All of the employees we've interacted with have been friendly. Appalling customer service and poorly run store. I had a time sensitive deadline that they completely screwed up, and was forced to spend two hours trekking across the city to fix. I had ordered a large blueprint and a few copies, and found out only upon coming to pick up the order that their large printer was broken. No one had called to notify me, and their best solution was to route me to a store 20 mins away for the blueprint, and then come back to the original store for the copies, as they had not printed a thing from my order and the formatting for my copies couldn't be forwarded to the new store (I had to email the new store the blueprint). To make matters worse, the new store was closing in 30 mins, and when I called the manager there to confirm they received my emailed order, he said that they would not stay open even an extra minute past 5:00, so was I sure I could make it in time? This was my second experience with Office Depot that was terrible too--the first time their online system routed a time-sensitive order to a different store based on my billing address (rather than the location I had selected) and I was forced to run all over town that time too. Terrible systems and even worse customer service-- I will never again bring my business to Office Depot. read more

Then he referred the case to Vera @ Lost Prevention. They reimbursed me for the price of a NEW identical ipad.
