Range has been almost complete for 3 years. They tell you everytime they just got the permit but it's a lie. Prices are outrageous as well!

As a brand-new gun owner, walking into a gun shop can be a little intimidating when you don't know…read moreall the terminology or exactly what you're doing. I brought my SIG P320 XCarry into J&B to have a ROMEO-RS PRO optic and FOXTROT2R light installed, and Brandon couldn't have made the experience any better. He stopped what he was doing, took the time to install everything correctly, zeroed the optic, walked me through what he was doing, answered every question I had, and made sure I understood my new setup before I left. At no point did I feel rushed or talked down to. He genuinely cared about doing the job right and helping a new shooter learn. The level of customer service was exceptional and far beyond what I expected. They went above and beyond to make sure I left with everything installed correctly and the confidence to use my new setup. Customer service like that is incredibly rare these days. They've earned my business for life, and I won't be going anywhere else as long as I live in the Portland area. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or buying your very first firearm, I can't recommend Brandon and the entire team at J&B Firearm Sales highly enough. Thank you again for taking such great care of me. You've definitely gained a lifelong customer. Establishment~It was our first time going to this particular gun range. I normally go to Safefire…read moreIndoor Shooting Range (Vancouver) but, traffic was crazy. I was in Tigard so I just googled ranges near me and, a few came up. After checking their website it was the perfect place to shoot my new baby. I only had an hour to shoot but, I'll definitely will back to shoot soon not later. I would highly suggest visiting their website so you are aware of the policies, regulations, and fees. Service~We were greeted immediately with a smile and, real professionalism. Being it was our first time the owner puts you on a tablets (to left by the vending machines). You start the registration, answer a few (legal) personal questions, and watch a safety video (takes about 10-15 minutes). Once that's completed you go get your target sheets, someone will explain the target pad and, how to reach a staff member (in case of emergency or questions). Also (I have my own) but, they will provided you with safety glasses, ear muffs, and safety clips for the barrel. Ambiance~The vibes are amazing (It was only 3 other people and, a private one on one instructor class). I am not sure how it is when all 9 lanes are occupied but, I like it better when it's quiet. Restroom are clean (main building and, before entering the range it's a set). It's plenty of parking but, I highly recommend coming here if you love to shoot like we do. I personally plan to take a few classes w/ Jermey (I want to be an expert shooter and, be able to draw from my holster). This beautiful shooting range has been in business for 12 years and, it so clean and very well maintained. My husband and I plan to sign up for the household membership package!

Excellent facility | Excellent instructors (Jeremy)…read more My husband has been here a few times to use their shooting range, but this was my first time coming here to watch my husband use their simulators. I originally booked a 30-minute session for the Threat Alley simulator ($45). I didn't know what to book for my husband because he had never done anything like this before, but I wanted to get him involved in something since this place offers state-of-the-art training. I'm so glad I did. Jeremy was our instructor. He was formerly a member of a SWAT team, so he has plenty of experience. He offered excellent critique and guidance, walking my husband through the session step by step. He even gave us an extra 20 minutes and let us use the 300-degree Threat Arena - WOW! He provided my husband with excellent scenarios, even the ones intended for two people. I highly recommend Jeremy and hope we have the opportunity to work with him again next time. He's very knowledgeable, friendly, and an excellent instructor here. The simulator experience really makes you appreciate what military and law enforcement have to do. The Threat Alley simulator is a single-screen application that lets users practice practical threat scenarios, such as being robbed in a parking lot after work. It also presents other scenarios that prompt you to reconsider how you would handle the situation if it were to actually happen. Those scenarios, when the threat isn't directly interacting with you, can get tricky. For instance, how do you handle the threat if they have a hostage? The 300-degree Threat Arena is pretty impressive! It's best used with another person or two, but my husband did well for one person. Overall, I recommend these simulators for individuals seeking to train or simply enjoy themselves. Photos are allowed only in the simulators. Originally, I booked for $45 and ended up getting an extra 20 minutes and invaluable advice for the price of $55. So worth it! This place is popular and offers a variety of packages. Great staff. I'm so glad this place is here. We plan to be back!
