I was told they were too busy today to do it and asked when would be a good time to bring it in. The girl at the front counter called back and then informed me after the measure 114 scare is over. I told her that's not what they said last week when I picked my rifle up and that they were doing a scope mount at that time. she just apologized and here I am with a rifle with no fixed sites and no scope mounted on it either. Although I have bought many times from this place in the past the service just continues to decline. I'll take my business and money somewhere else in the future.

Regardless of their reasoning for denying the sale, post sale, they don't honor their agreements and when you are talking about purchases of that size -- that's about as low as it gets, in my book. (I don't live in Sandy but I'm close enough and the shop was super easy to deal with.) they sent their FFL stuff over to the other shop and I was happy to pay a rather minimal fee for the Eric's to receive the gun, handle the transaction and do the background check when I went to the shop. hour are limited so don't just stop by, make sure you call ahead to make sure the shop will be staffed.
