Fits him well, durable, lots of pockets, and comes in great colors. Every time we've shopped here, each staff member has been super helpful and friendly. They always ask if we need a different color or size and they check in the back. They have so much inventory that we usually end up being able to get what we need from the back when they look. Not exactly the easiest size to find in a pinch. Tonquin didn't have size 16 either-- but the super, super helpful guy working there understood our dilemma, and gave us a recommendation of where we COULD find a size 16, in exactly the type/brand of shoe we were looking for. He saved us from driving around all day to every Famous Footwear trying to find something that might work. So. Although I didn't end up buying anything at Tonquin, I was really impressed (and grateful!) by their "can't-get-it-at-Macy's-get-it-at-Gimbels" attitude, which saved our vacation. If I go back (and I loved the area...I'm already planning my next trip), I'd totally patronize Tonquin with my outdoorsy needs!

I had such a terrible experience with the last firearm purchase that I finally said "to hell with it just give me a refund". At this point I would rather spend the money at Cabela's/Bass Pro. The manager back there, Jeff, treats you like an absolute burden. Instead of applying customer service and working to help you, he's dismissive, arrogant and ridiculously rude. Worst customer service I have had in a VERY long time, probably ever. I bought 4 other firearms here in the last 90 days to add to my collection, and THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I DID ANY BUSINESS HERE! If you have to go here, deal with the young ladies who work the counter. If I lived closer to Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's, I'd go there, but I feel they have the same quality type of products here at Sportsmans Warehouse. And the prices are slightly lower price in my opinion. I can go to Big5, but their big sale items usually are considered cheap (some items, not all). I don't mind the text or email ads regarding what's on sale because I'll usually find a really good deal from time to time. Depending on the season. That's just another plus in my book! The main reason for this review is actually for associate, Colby. He helped me from start to finish with a major purchase. Answered many of my questions and offered useful knowledge. Same with their half zip long sleeve shirts, perfect to wear walking or hiking in our many months of 50 degree weather. He helped me find the right shoes and even though he was quite busy with other customers, he still manage to find what people are looking for and was so kind!! The cashier lady in the other hand.... Abigail wasn't so nice. She asked if I was a member for REI, and I said no since of course it's my first time. She then went on to explain the benefits and I kindly declined. Although the membership is such a steal, I had to pay $30 on top of what I'm buying and at the moment right now I'm low on money, I get paid till next week and was only here to buy shoes for tomorrow's hike with my leftover money that I had!! When I kindly declined she continues to tell me again about the benefits. When I declined again her whole face dropped and bluntly said "okay" and ringed me out. Her whole demeanor changed and I honestly did not like that. I worked as a cashier and I know the struggles of trying to have people sign up for certain things, but it never leads me to being rude against them or changing my demeanor. I know for sure next time I'll sign up but at the moment I literally can't.

Before getting to him, I spent 6 hours of online research and had spoken to 5…read moredifferent stores, trying to find an electrical pump for my Stand Up Paddle Board which had alligator clips, as the one I had was only for cigarette lighters and had already blown my fuse. Due to the time of the year, there was nothing good left online and I was facing the prospect of having to spend an additional $80 on a new pump and having to wait at least a week, or else drive 2 hours out of my way to get a dubious replacement. Matt simply suggested I buy a $10 Adapter (available at any car parts store) to convert the cigarette lighter to one that works off alligator clips - problem solved !! Super grateful to have someone knowledgable and caring solve my problem - who clearly cared more about the solution then making a sale. I highly recommend Matt and Oregon Outdoor Sports !
