The owner didn't acknowledge me until I asked where to put it down. She sighed heavily and waved her hand near a pile of stuff under her TV and said "I'll need you to fill out a paper too." She walked away and helped a different customer out to their car. She came back in, no greeting, and said "Well? Did you fill out the paper?" I said no, you didn't give me one to fill out. Weird. She text me the next day saying she wasn't going to take anything I brought because she wasn't ready for summer? I had plenty of pants and shirts and shoes that were not summer items. I had to go back and pick it up again. Such a waste of time. It was an unpleasant experience from beginning to end. Won't be back.

They were great about explaining the different choices they had and talking about some of the different sounds each violin might produce. My daughter tried the four that were in our price range and didn't really experience anything remarkable. So ultimately we ended up playing a German Violin that had the sound she was looking for. Something about being made from wood from the Carpathian Forests, seemed to make a difference :) But I wouldn't hesitate to buy a violin from them. And personally, I'd love to do that b/c their service is so great (more about that next). So recently, we had a problem with our silent (electric) violin. One of the strings was starting to come apart a bit so we decided to get new strings thinking that would fix the problem. We brought the violin back and found out the problem was still there. So we called, and they said to bring the violin back and they'd take a look. We dropped it off and then about a day later they figured out it had to do with a finger guide we had wrapped around the neck which was coming up just enough to cause a problem w/ a couple of the strings. What impressed me though was how kind and helpful they were throughout the whole process. Cassie was the one helping us and she was AMAZING! So basically, the problem was all on us. We are the ones who caused this issue (not them). Yet they took the time to research the problem to try and figure out what it was, then figured out the issue and got us taken care of. Then on top of that we weren't charged anything. At one point they even offered to drop our violin off in Corvallis (where we live) to save us a trip back into Philomath. PRO TIP: If you're traveling from Corvallis, I recommend calling first depending on what you might need. For example, the person you may want to speak with or work with may not be there when you stop by so it might be wise to call again just to be sure. But they truly go above and beyond, give great service, their pricing is very fair and reasonable. We're fortunately to have such a great music business here in the area and I'm excited for the next time we'll be stopping by!

I went in to pick up a BCM lower on a transfer, (this was during an AR15 shortage). Talking with the guy he mentioned they had an complete Aero AR10 lower at a great price. So I bought that one I just was looking for a Shockwave. Checked with Brownells, they had it at 500. Called TL, they quoted 575. Not so bad considering and I do try and buy local. I called back to order the shockwave and now the prices was 525, cheaper than Brownell's would be with the transfer and shipping. If sarcasm hurts your feelings and you think people are assholes maybe you should take up knitting instead of shooting. That said no one has been sarcastic or discourteous to me at TL. The worst thing is that they are not selling suppressors. They promise to have their NFA paperwork in place by the summer. lets hope. With the exit of Wes and Philomath Guns we do not have much in the way of firearms retailing. BiMart has very limited stock, mostly hunting related gear. I do not count Coastal as their pricing is MSRP or better

You need to spend more. They acknowledge you when you walk in, despite the idiots complaining that they don't. If you have a question, they answer it, and are friendly.....even when the question is completely ridiculous. You might get some sarcasm, but they're not goin to treat you badly. This doesn't make them assholes, it makes them the kind of salesmen that are the ones that represent the best business practices for these things that you can get. They're prices aren't higher than anywhere else, their shop is clean and well maintained, and the people working there, know what they're doing. Stop in. You'll like it.

I walked away with a barely used Woodwick candle for $2.00. A nightgown, workout pants, and a t-shirt for $7 in total. I would have bought more if the prices weren't so expensive. I live 20 minutes away so I'll come back when I'm in the area because you can find items within the "thrift" price range. The woman that worked there was very kind as well.

This is a great vintage clothing spot which just opened up this past year. You can shop their items…read moreeither in-person at this location in Corvallis or on the depop app. They have a small selection of dresses, graphic tees, plaid shirts, pants, jeans, tops, as well as accessory items like buttons and bandannas and everything they try to rotate a good amount as well so the selection remains fresh for customers they noted. The items are well priced and in good shape and they have so many vibrant and fun items that are very unique and sure to get you compliments. The shop is also run by OSU students and the workers were very nice when my sister and I stopped by. Definitely recommend adding this to your list of fun vintage spots locally.
