Everything looked so inviting and well-presented. We wanted the bundtlets to serve as shower favors, and the entire experience was exceptional. The owner worked closely with us to choose the perfect flavors and coordinate a beautiful color contrast for the double-tier bundlets -- making sure they looked just as stunning as they tasted. Each bundlet was individually packaged, beautifully gift-wrapped in clear cellophane, and tied with a pink ribbon of our choosing. The final touch was a sentiment flag that read "Thank You," making them the perfect keepsake and gesture of appreciation for our guests. As it was a large order, the owner's father was gracious enough to personally deliver everything to our home -- a kind and thoughtful gesture that made the experience even more special. The attention to detail, customer service, and overall presentation were flawless. These bundtlets were not only delicious but also a heartfelt highlight of the celebration.

I was amazed by the care and service of this local business! The owner is a super sweet man who is always there to lend a helping hand with the chocolate recommendations if you are looking to buy a special present for someone. If you happen to be buying a selection of chocolate, maybe you will be lucky enough to sample one of their chocolates right there Their entrance is a side door off of Madison Ave. It is not labeled, but don't be afraid to give it a turn and go right in! You should hear a bell chime in the back when you head in, so if you don't, give the door another open to make sure they know they have a customer. Their Gianduja chocolate has such a lasting and aromatic hazelnut flavor, I definitely recommend getting a piece in the next box of chocolate you buy. They also have plenty of deals during different holidays in the year. I highly recommend Birnn Chocolate for any occasion, as a thank you gift or a just because gift for someone special. My local FB group posted a quick review of the cinnamon rolls so I had to check for myself. When I got there, no rolls were in the display case. I was just about to try something else when the person working the register told me there were some that had just been baked. I ordered two because. I walked back to my car to enjoy them by the fall leaves like a bootleg Hallmark movie. They were delicious. Soft and fluffy, lightly glazed, and not overly sweet. I loved them. So much so I went back the next day but they only had them unglazed. So I had to pass. Side note: they also have the festive Canada Dry flavors you only find during the holidays. Love that. Todays was at leisure and while passing by made an impromptu stop and decided to check out this bakery. Run by a mother son duo , it's a cute bakery selling authentic Mexican pastries. The ambience is nothing fancy . The standard display case showcasing their pastries , which are not seemingly very attractive, but their service wraps it all up into a pretty package. They have a coffee station and a cooler with sodas and other cold beverages Conchas, Sweet roll, Gusanitos , Sweet empanadas , croissants, Dressed Concha's , Tostadas, Sweet corn muffin and cake. Many of these were new to me. But I wanted to try the sweet roll and dressed mini Chocolate Concha's . They gave us complimentary vanilla topped concha's and a sweet corn muffin to try . Nothing was cloyingly sweet . Simple basic flavors but baked to perfection. Sweet roll and cone muffin was nothing unique but was a good combo with hot coffee. The concha's topping was the sugary based icing that made the pastry texture interesting. Crisp sugar coated exterior with a soft interior. I found different from anything i have tried before. I felt all pastries were a bit eggy for my taste , but it may be the nature of the pastry itself. They cater for events and among other things they make colorful Corazonchas which are heart shaped concha's that could be a good substitute for standard cookies at a gathering. I would recommend trying this spot to get a taste of Mexican style pastries.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the owner, whose energy was absolutely beautiful -- welcoming, passionate, and genuine. She organically gave us a tour, walked us through her products, and explained the process behind making her chocolate. You can tell immediately how much care and intention goes into what she does. She shared how important it is not to burn the cocoa beans and to really honor the process -- and honestly, you can taste that difference. A lot of places sell chocolate, but not everyone respects the craft. She absolutely does. We tried a few treats: the chocolate chip cookie, the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, and the double chocolate peppermint cookie. My wife loved the double chocolate peppermint. And we both loved the others -- you can taste the freshness and the quality of the ingredients in every bite. Nothing artificial, nothing rushed. Just rich, balanced, delicious flavor. We also picked up the chocolate tea, which smells incredible. I cannot wait to brew it ASAP. This is the kind of place you want to support -- small, intentional, high quality, and full of heart. I highly recommend stopping in, and we will absolutely be back very soon for more chocolate and more cookies.
