Place always smelled good- she sell air fresheners/ candles…read more My pet loved Spa Day w the previous owner. Any Spa- my pet love. She use to be excited but not anymore. Her Last 3 visits she came back sad. Unusual. Last visit appt was at 10. I did not get a call back, text back or update. I went to the store at 5:00. She ask for 20 minutes. I returned at 5: 00, she needed more time. I can back at 6 ( closing) my pet was not ready. I came back at 7:30 and pet was finally finished. 10-7:30 was absolutely too long for a senior dog.- any dog. Owner said dog needed 5 baths which is not true. She assumed my pet was not bathed for 5 months. She is disorganized- I pulled the calendar and showed her my pet was bathed every 30 days. She was shocked at my records.. The last visit w her was January. - owner did not have record. Her record keeping is not up to par. I personally groomed in February. We are in March. My pet is an inside pet and mall walker- one wash and condition is all that is ever needed. She would always compliment me on my pets coat. I always get compliments on my pets coat. My dog is 14 years old. I KNOW MY PETS NEEDS. Owner just kept saying she had a bad day. I gather she had a bad day but don't blame my pet. Owner overbooked. I noticed 2 -100 pound long haired dogs. I noticed a total of 7 dogs were picked up in the small wait time. Owner was overwhelmed, erratic, emotional, and disorganized. My pet was sad and took a few days to recover from the groom. Just looking at the px in gram. The pups look sad in the eyes. Tongue hanging out was not a smile- they are thirsty. Pet Parents--. Heads up. Lana/ Silky Pups- what happened? Get it together. I don't trust you and I won't be back.

Terrible communication, had an appointment for early Saturday 9:30am. Apparently she was backed up…read moreon appointments from the previous day . So Lana didn't start working on my dog till 12:30 pm. The only reason we found out is because I called to ask if my dog was ready and she said it'll be another 2 hours . So that means my dog was just sitting in a crate for 3 hours . Decent groomer , just doesn't know how to communicate. Could've easily just told me she was backed up and just rescheduled.

My furbaby's regular groomer has been out of commission for a couple of months now...something…read moreabout electrical issues so they're completely shut down. I'm super-nervous about leaving my baby with just anyone. I've heard horror stories about many places and besides, my baby is just plain nervous about going anywhere, let alone the groomers. I called this place to schedule an appointment. I sent over my dog's rabies paperwork by conveniently texting the docs to a phone number. I had forgotten to do this when I scheduled the appointment but they still took it the day of. I pulled up to Pawsitively Purrfect, very easy to get to and located on Morris Ave which is a main street in Union. Parking wasn't bad. I parked on the side street and walked right around the corner. When I brought Kelani up to the door it was locked but Adelis came to open it up and greeted me in such a friendly way. Now I expected for her to just grab my fur baby and go inside but nope, she actually stood outside on the sidewalk and allowed Kelani to sniff her and get used to her. Then once Kelani was comfortable, Adelis reached down and petted her and talked to her. Then she picked up my baby and went inside. I came to pick up Kelani a couple of hours later and she looked so cute. She smelled fresh and had a pink bow in her hair but the best part was that Adelis had trimmed the hair under her chin so meticulously and perfectly. My regular groomer doesn't even do a job that good. I paid $84 on my card and tipped her. She so deserved it. I'm so pleased with this place. I've already scheduled Kelani's appointment for next time. Highly recommend.

I am very pleased with the service here. My Bronze looks adorable, the location is convenient, and…read moreworth every penny. I will definitely be bringing my dog here again.

Extremely sad to see this puppy mill resell operation. I really wanted to adopt the shetland…read moresheepdog but 95% of the puppies from this place is from a puppy mill. The whole store is misleading and has "Adoption" and "Rescue" out front which is a total lie. They're all extremely expensive at $3k+ which is highway robbery for all the vet bills you will have to foot right after when you find out the puppy is sick. There will be "breeders" listed for each puppy there but the "breeders" are just fronts for puppy mills. I attached a label for example. Just look up BLUE RIBBON PUPPIES online and you'll very easily see that theyre a very well known puppy mill/puppy distributor from Indiana. Google "Lester and Bonita Kemp" as the so/called "breeder" and you will see they do not exist. You can't escape this hard evidence by just responding to all these negative reviews with lies that you care about these dogs when you are literally promoting unethical overbreeding, death, and disease. Just look at how many of these reviews are from serious health issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THESE PUPPIES DESERVE BETTER. My heart breaks for the sweet puppy I met. Shake a Paw literally profits off these mills that treat puppies as lifeless items to sell and fill their own pockets. Just look up an article about a lawsuit from this year titled, "Attorney General James Wins $300,000 for Customers of Long Island Pet Store That Illegally Sold Sick Puppies" about another Shake a Paw which also lied about the sources of their puppies. Disgusting. Owners of all the sick puppies previously sold here should come together for a lawsuit. Claim whatever you want, that you treat these puppies with care etc but the proof is in the pudding. You cannot claim you care for these dogs when you overcharge and resell them from unethical puppy factories, Jeffrey.

This is the second puppy I have purchased from this place. The first puppy was unfit for sale. They…read moredid the right thing and reimbursed at me I kept Maui even with his disabilities after losing my Akita on March 18, 2025. I woke up sad and destroyed. I got in my car and drove ended up at shake a paw when I seen West he reminded me so much of a mini version of my Akita, we noticed problems from the beginning, but as having a toy breed previously hypoglycemia is always a problem with these dogs we miss took a lot of his signs as hypoglycemia. I took out two insurances and monitored his food. His first visit he had worms I paid for all his medication's once he was dewormed and vaccinated is when we started seeing more and more problems. The worst was June 21 when I found him almost dead under my bed. I rushed him to the emergency room after giving him fluids and electrolytes in a bottle by the time I got him to the emergency room he was stable with elevated liver enzymes. I am very transparent and honest they asked me could he have gotten into anything I told them the house is gated he's kept in a certain area. I did let them know. I am a cannabis user for over 20 years so automatically the dog is now high and getting into cannabis. Nothing else was addressed so everybody is running with The Version of this dog is high. I am a very responsible person. I use cannabis for chronic pain I even started using oil as they were saying he was getting secondhand smoke. I still am seeing the same effects. It is happening after he exercises if he gets over excited if he eats the wrong thing because he is a dog, I have him on a strict diet, but how do I know what is the correct diet if he doesn't have the correct work up done They don't care because I ask them to even take this dog and have their vet work it up since they are appealing the unfit for purchase why should I be responsible for almost $6000 of medical bills on top of the 5000? I paid for Him they're saying because it has no definitive diagnosis, but the neurosurgeon is literally saying it's going to be $6000 to run a full metabolic panel. They are a pet store. I can guarantee they can do all this for almost free. It's the point that this dog could die I can't even leave him alone because when he goes down , it's like seizure activity he can't move or do anything. I am also a small business a owner. I'm a Reiki practitioner. Imagine my anxiety and the fact that I can't even do any work or leave my house because this dog needs to be looked after almost 24 hours on top of the fact that I have disabilities so I can't even leave the house to do physical therapy this is taking such a mental and financial toll, but what's really pissing me off is the fact that this puppy is sick and they should be a responsible place and get him worked up but you pick the right one Jeffrey
