Where should I start...Woody Wings is at a great location. It's no excuse to not go and get an order. My order was the jerk egg rolls, steak and cheese egg rolls, collards, garlic parmesan wings, fries and banana pudding. The Woody's Wing sauce with the egg roll is so good. The establishment have seating. It's street parking. The food was a 25 minute wait that was well worth it. Highly recommend!

Woody's Wings was wonderful! This was my first time trying Woody's Wings and got them delivered through UberEats. Originally had ordered Asian Garlic, Honey Cajun, Buffalo, Lemon Pepper, and the Sweet Chili Sriracha. The restaurant called 2 minutes after the order was placed to say that they were out of the Asian Garlic flavor. The employee was so nice, friendly, and helpful over the phone and we ended up replacing the flavor with Sweet & Tangy. The wings arrived hot, crispy and delicious. The wings were thoughtfully packed and placed. The favorite flavor of the night was Honey Cajun! Really nice Cajun flavor with a light sweetness. Definitely not over powering. Buffalo and Lemon Pepper were very yummy and great as well! The sweet chili sriracha had a nice spiciness and I love feeling the heat. Lastly, the Sweet & Tangy played nicely with the other wings. Overall, great place to order wings! Will definitely be ordering again and trying more delicious flavors!

Steak and Shrimp over Mac & cheese (usually over rice but they ran out)

First time ordering here, ordered to go. Ordered the Steak and Shrimp combo with rice but they ran out of rice so subbed with Mac &cheese. It was amazing ! Portions was worth the $18 especially for steak and shrimp. There was a sweet glaze or gravy to the meal that went perfect with everything.

    Enough said. Didn't last long.

The only reason I didn't give a five yet is because we need to try some of the other wings. These were excellent. Can't wait to try the salt and vinegar and the sour cream n onion. But these definitely hit the spot.

Really good wings. The boneless were too big. Wish they were open on Sundays for football. They should stay open Sundays and close Monday.

We tried 3 different wing flavors: buffalo, cajun dry rub, and garlic parm. Overall, the wings were somewhat disappointing - the meat was a bit dry (still decent for the price though). The buffalo flavor was my favorite as it helped balance out the dryness out and it had a nice kick. The garlic parm and cajun dry rub were on the saltier side but nice with the blue cheese and ranch on the side which helped to mellow these out. The star of the show was their Bar Burger - perfectly cooked, juicy and topped with BBQ sauce, grilled onions, bacon, and cheddar cheese. The portion of fries was generous too. Though they do offer a large variety of food on their menu, their burgers. in particular are delicious. Drinks were great, service was attentive and quick, and the atmosphere was laidback. Overall, a solid option for grabbing a draft or a late night bite!

Honestly, after reading the reviews, I wasn't too confident I would even be able to eke on in for dinner, but my God was I able to get in, and thank the LORD I was able to find a parking spot with such a full lot of cars! What started as a solo trip to J Timothy's became a welcome table event when fellow Yelper Angie showed up with her husband and invited me over to their table. I'm SO glad we were able to have that happen! It became one of the best post-event dinners I've had yet. It did take a bit of time to decide between the three of us, but we eventually split our checks, with me taking care of my order and Angie taking care of the rest. We had Kate as a waitress, and might I say, she was not only nice and efficient, but she was very knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful and accommodating. I immediately requested a take-out box and she delivered just like that. She was even knowledgeable on what foods and such were made in-house and what wasn't, which is honestly very impressive! Also note, we all got to have a taste of everything that came in tonight, so we got lots of food to get to! We did have the wings for our appetizers. I did the 10-wing Dirt Style Honey BBQ Gold for mine, and they got I wanna say 20(?) Buffalo wings. They were cooked to perfection, and I was able to twist the bones off the flats. Both flavors were good, but even though it could possibly be my bias talking, I did prefer my flavor of wings. I will say the Buffalo had that signature spice level there, but it didn't overpower the wing, which is awesome! Oh, and there were also the potato skins which was rated perfectly, and that tasted really good as well. For the entrees, this is why I immediately requested the box. My order was the full rack of ribs. Angie got the chicken pot pie. Usually, I don't eat pot pies, but the one Angie ordered was honestly very good. Flaky, buttery crust top, and savory filling or chicken, potatoes, peas, etc. As for my ribs, whenever I tried to cut them, all the meat kept falling off the bone! That's how you know it was cooked properly! And dear God were these ribs were delicious, succulent, and delicious! Did I mention they were delicious? The BBQ sauce was a symphony of bliss that helped make each bite of rib taste like I went to Cloud Nine! The coleslaw it came with was good, but it's not something I would say can compete with the South. But good all the same. Drinks were great too. I got the Dragon Fruit Martini(?), and that was sweet and relaxing to have after a long summer and a long drive to Plainville. Oh, and we also got dessert! Again we picked different things: Angie ordered the "Not Fried Chicken" while I went with the Key Lime Pie. Wherever these guys get their key lime pie from, keep them coming and let me know so I can get some more myself! The raspberry sauce was a great choice for accompaniment and complimented the pie nicely. And the slice was divine! The Not Fried Chicken is a very innovative idea, and it tasted good as well. I can see now why this place gets so much love. It's insane how good this place is in just about every aspect! The sink did take a bit to learn, but that was about my only criticism, other than that this place easily gets 5 stars from me, and I am so glad to have had this dinner with Angie and meet her husband. #KeepYelping

Timothy's Tavern when I visit back in the northeast…read more Ordered both the Gold BBQ and Buffalo flavors dirt style, and they were absolutely delicious and dank as per usual. The Gold BBQ wings were my favorite--crispy, sticky, and packed with flavor. They had the perfect balance of sweet, smoky, and tangy without being overpowering. The Buffalo wings were excellent too, with a classic sauce that had just the right amount of heat and a great buttery finish. The wings came out crispy even after being sauced, which is harder to do than most places make it look. Service was friendly, the atmosphere felt like a classic neighborhood tavern, and you can tell they've been doing this for a long time. If you're anywhere near Plainville and like wings, this place is definitely worth the stop. I'll be thinking about those Gold BBQ wings for a while.

Don't let the neighborhood fool you; this is a masterclass in authentic cooking. Although I don't typically dine out for soul food, my water was shut off due to maintenance on the outside pipes. Since it was Sunday and I usually cook Sunday dinner, I chose to visit Sandra's after hearing such high praise and wanting to try their menu. Upon arrival, I realized it doesn't particularly stand out, but there is a menu outside to review before entering. The restaurant is small, predominantly a takeout spot. I ordered the Pork Chop dinner, with sides of Collard Greens and Macaroni and Cheese. My son had the Ribs with Macaroni and Cheese and Rice, and my daughter selected the Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, and Collard Greens. I also picked up a side of Sweet Potatoes and Fried Fish. The Fried Fish was underwhelming in flavor, with a slimy breading. I prefer my fish fried until very crispy, and although it looked crispy, it needed a bit more time. The Sweet Potatoes were good but could benefit from a touch more sweetness. When I opened my Pork Chop dinner, I was surprised to find only one pork chop, especially given that the dinner costs twenty dollars and pork is typically an affordable meat. I would expect two pork chops for that price. The Mac and Cheese was decent--cooked well but lacking the deep, savory richness I seek. The Collard Greens, however, were excellent; cooked perfectly and absorbed the rich flavors of their broth and seasonings. My children found the food to be okay, rating it around 2.5 to 3 stars. There is also a refrigerator with desserts and homemade juice drinks. Overall, the staff and environment were friendly.
