It has been a long time since I have been in a dentist office. Luckily I choose to come here. They…read morewere kind and helpful through my entire appointment. So I will break down my experience. Since I was a new patient I came in to get my teeth x-ray and examined due to my wisdom teeth. I talked with Daniel Krenz in his office about my teeth and he had one of his dental assistants take me to the x-ray room. She was very helpful with the x-ray and was gentle with the tools that I had to bite on for the x-ray procedure. Afterwards I was escorted to the exam room where Dr. Krenz would go over the x-rays and problem spots in my mouth. He would also explain all the options and processes for each procedure. Once everything was explained to me the main question I had to ask was the cost of it all. Dr. Krenz was more than happy to send Ellen, one of his employees to come and crunch numbers for me. She was very thorough with showing me what the cost were, and what my insurance would cover and how much would come out of my own pocket. Ellen went above and beyond in terms of help. She would go over all the bases for payment plans and cost. Once most of the financial stuff was done and I knew what I was going to spend, it was time to get to my actual teeth. So the first thing that was done was to clean and treat my gums. I was escorted t another room where my cleaning would be done. Dr. Krenz came in to administer the shots to help numb the bottom of my mouth during the treatment. Getting shots in the mouth seems like it would be the worst thing ever, but it was surprisingly not as bad as I imagined. Once my mouth was numb they began to clean and treat my gums. They did a very good job as I never experienced any pain or discomfort. The entire process went by pretty quickly. Overall I had a great experience at Spring Smiles Dental Group. And I will be going back for more work while also looking forward to going to the dentist! Thank you all for your great work!

It was explained to me that after their investigation, they realized that a policy was wrongly communicated to me regarding wax distribution and charges. The policy states that wax, rubber bands and storage boxes are given to patients currently in treatment at AVA - AT NO CHARGE. Patrons who request the aforementioned items who are not AVA patients are charged a small fee. Now this... THIS MAKES TOTAL SENSE! It was an honest mistake and misunderstanding on the part of the person my daughter spoke with that day. The doctor assured me the staff had reviewed the policy, and this would not be an issue moving forward. He also communicated how important it was to him and the practice that we were happy, and I truly felt that came from his heart. As a final gesture of good faith he offered us a second retainer when she finishes her treatment. And as we all know... every kid needs that... because eventually they lose the first one:) The value of this retainer is about $600. I made sure he knew I didn't write the review to get anything for free and tried to tell him this was not necessary, but he insisted. I am happy with how this was all cleared up. And I can honestly give them a five star rating... not because I got something for free... but because they addressed the issue and did so in a professional, respectful manner. I am also extremely impressed with the already gorgeous changes taking place on my daughter's face! Thank you AVA!

I came in for a consultation to learn more about Invisalign Express and unfortunately did not have…read morea great experience with Dr. Amin M. The consultation felt rushed and not very thorough. Since it was a complimentary visit, it seemed like there wasn't much effort put into explaining options in a clear, patient-friendly way. Dr. Amin primarily used technical orthodontic terminology without breaking it down, which made it difficult to understand what he was referring to. Additionally, the interaction didn't feel very personable or attentive. I felt that my concerns weren't fully acknowledged, and even after expressing that I understood certain points, the explanations continued in a way that felt repetitive rather than helpful. What stood out most to me was that Dr. Amin M. made multiple comments about my teeth in a way that felt more aligned with general dentistry rather than orthodontics. This came across as unnecessary and somewhat out of scope for the consultation I was seeking, which made the experience feel less focused and less professional. That said, I do want to note that the front desk staff was wonderful, very polite, respectful, and welcoming. They made a great first impression. Overall, I was hoping for a more professional, patient-centered consultation experience and did not receive that. I will not be going back here for treatment.

They will show you all of your procedure options and won't try to persuade you to go with the most expensive option at all, but if you ask their opinion they will answer with what they think is best for you situation. They also make sure that you are comfortable first and foremost. My husband and I weren't able to take care of our dentistry needs before with the previous salary etc but now that we are able, we feel quite blessed that it is being taken care of by a group of professionals that truly know what they're doing, that use latest dentistry technology to help make the experience as pleasant and timely as possible without sacrificing quality, and that are sincere about what we needed/needs to be done. We're so pleased that we decided to have our two children ages 9 and 2 become patients as well, next door at My Kids Dentistry with Dr.Chance whom is just as profesional and caring as Dr.Alexander. 1 Star - Extremely Frustrating Lack of Communication…read more Our experience with Rayford Modern Dentistry in Spring, Texas has become incredibly frustrating, not because of the amount of money involved, but because of the complete lack of communication regarding a refund we are owed. We were informed that our refund of approximately $280 was submitted for processing on June 11, 2026. We later spoke with Bill, who told us the refund check had been processed and would be mailed. It is now August 22, 2026 -- more than two months later -- and we still have not received the refund. More frustrating is the lack of communication. We have attempted to resolve this directly with the office, including communicating with Bill and Roxana and following up by phone, yet the matter remains unresolved. No check. No email. No letter. No returned phone call explaining what happened. No meaningful update. At this point, it isn't even about $280. It's about basic customer service and accountability. If there is a legitimate problem processing a refund, communicate that to the patient. Don't tell someone a check has been processed and mailed and then leave them chasing the office for months trying to figure out what happened. We have now had to escalate the matter beyond the local office and contact the practice owner and PDS Health leadership simply to try to get an answer about a relatively straightforward refund. We have given the office numerous opportunities to resolve this privately and professionally. Unfortunately, the continued lack of communication has left us extremely disappointed. I will gladly update this review if Rayford Modern Dentistry resolves the issue and provides an explanation for what happened. Until then, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this office when it comes to billing/refund issues and communication.
