I just moved here from San Diego and my dentist there had said I had three cavities that needed to be filled and one was urgent. I found Spring Pearl on Yelp and decided to try them out. They are very friendly and thorough during the initial consultation, plus they are about 50% less expensive than my dentist I had for 16 years. Like everyone else, I'm terrified of dentists, but luckily only one cavity needed to be filled (not three) and they got it taken care of the same week as my initial consultation. They didn't try to upsell me on anything and I was made very comfortable for the filling. The dentist, they call "Dr.Mac" is super sweet and funny and makes you feel relaxed and that she's knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her. I haven't done a cleaning here yet since I just had one a month ago, but am hopeful that the hygienist is just as good as the dentist. read more

I found this dental office by visiting the nail salon in the same parking lot. It was a God sent. I thought, well, while I'm here let's see if I can get an appointment this late in the year. I had a chance to visit Spring Dental for an exam and cleaning. Everyone was super friendly and nice. The entire office is clean and comfortable. Dr. McElravy has a great bedside manner and I didn't feel uncomfortable asking questions. She also notified me that I grind my teeth. When she said it I thought back about how I wake up from sleep clenching my mouth. I'm really glad she said something about it. I was visiting from L.A. and one of my molars became loose, causing excruciating radiating pain throughout my entire mouth. A family member recommended Dr. McElravy. I knew it would be near impossible to get in on such short notice, and equally difficult to make it to her office in Tomball/Woodlands area, as I was in Katy and it was already after 3pm. I cannot begin to express how happy I am for choosing Spring Pearl Dental! They have over-exceeded my expectations during my visit, which included wisdom teeth extractions. Dr. McElravy and her team went above and beyond in making me feel as comfortable and prepared as possible for the exam and procedure. From the moment you step foot into the (beautifully decorated) office to when you leave, you feel exclusive as a patient with the amount of attention and care you receive from each member of the team. Dr. McElravy really takes her time in listening to concerns and answering questions. She thoroughly explains her assessments in such a competent and concise manner, which alleviates dental anxiety and makes "dental jargon" easy to understand. For my extractions, Dr. Thornton (who provides oral surgery services for Spring Pearl) was as wonderful as can be! He patiently answered all questions and thoroughly explained pre-op and post-op instructions prior to the procedure. The procedure itself could not have run more smoothly, considering I had an impacted wisdom tooth. Dr. Thornton made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure (with IV sedation) and successfully pulled all four teeth without any complications. Recovery was also a breeze with minimal to no pain. I highly recommend Spring Pearl Dental to anyone who is looking for and values skilled and competent professionals!
