First visit to this practice after two unfortunate experiences at another practice. I was very pleased with my cleaning and with the doctor's explanations. She was informative and patient as she answered my questions and she did not push any procedures. She also proved that the procedures the other practice pushed on me based on fear didn't need to be done. I am very pleased with their honesty and quality of work. I will continue going there! read more

Everything from appointment time to services rendered to scheduling of next appointments I would recommend Friend-ly Dentist to everyone they come up with the best plan that benefits the customers needs and ability to pay . They try smaller things first instead of going for the most pricey procedure. They exhibit honesty integrity and are just ready friendly. Wouldn't change dentists for anything. read more

Approximately three weeks ago, I sought treatment at Dr. Lee's dental office to replace an aging filling on my upper right molar. The procedure was elective and intended for cosmetic purposes. I was offered two options: a crown, due to my history of teeth grinding, or a simple filling replacement. I chose the latter. Two weeks post-procedure, I returned for a routine cleaning. During the final rinse, I experienced sharp pain on the treated side. The hygienist consulted with either Dr. Anh or Dr. Vi, who examined the area, performed an air sensitivity test, and reported no abnormalities. I was advised to begin using Sensodyne toothpaste. Later that evening, the pain intensified, localized precisely to the tooth that had been treated. This discomfort recurred daily after meals and persisted for over a week. At my husband's urging, I contacted the office again and was seen the same day. Dr. Lee identified a chip in the newly placed filling--presumably resulting from the cleaning--and applied additional filling material, commenting, "hopefully this will help." Despite that intervention, the pain worsened. I called the office again and was accommodated the following day, by which time the tooth had begun to bleed. I made a specific effort to see Dr. Lee in Spring for continuity of care. Upon arrival, I inquired about imaging, but the assistant indicated that the doctor deemed it unnecessary. This was troubling, considering no diagnostic images had been taken during any prior visits. After my insistence, X-rays were performed. Dr. Lee stated there was no visible infection and offered only speculative causes for the pain--suggesting nerve irritation or instability--without providing a decisive diagnosis or treatment plan. He proposed a temporary coating, which I declined, emphasizing my desire to resolve the issue rather than mask symptoms. The most troubling aspect of this experience was the lack of accountability and the repeated reliance on interim solutions. The tooth in question had caused no prior issues, and yet following what should have been a routine cosmetic adjustment, I now face the prospect of a root canal and crown--with significant associated costs. Moreover, Dr. Lee's demeanor appeared dismissive, and his statements lacked clarity and conviction. The absence of a documented diagnostic process and minimal patient engagement left me feeling unheard and unsupported. I offer this review as a cautionary account for others seeking care. Technical proficiency must be matched by professional responsibility and a genuine commitment to patient well-being. read more

Always a good experience - the entire staff: from the front desk, to the assistants, the hygienists, and the dentists; they are all so pleasant to work with. They never try to upsell you on unnecessary treatments and always provide needed education on oral hygiene. Robert & Richard are especially great. I will continue to refer people to this practice! read more

This is one of the BEST dental practices I've ever been to. The ENTIRE staff has such a welcoming and warm personality. Everyone is so helpful and seems to really care about my dental visit. From the time I walk in the door and get greeted by the front desk receptionist to the x-ray tech, to the hygienist to the Dentist to the office manager.... They are ALL SO WONDERFUL! They helped ease some anxiety surrounding dental procedures and provided clear and concise treatment plans. I'd say one of the main things that I like is that I'm never waiting too long before my appointment (which is rare these days). I've visited this practice more than 4 times so far and each time has been pleasant. I'd highly recommend this Dental practice. read more

We have been patients at this location for over a year but recently took our daughter who is five . Our other dentist wasn't very welcoming and I felt off leaving with our quote . This dentist made us feel comfortable and you know as a parent how important that is. They made my daughter feel comfortable explaining everything to her and making her laugh. Dentists and children we all know is hard but they made the experience feel great . So happy with the switch. read more

I had such a fear of dental work, until this afternoon. Not only did they work with me to help ease my anxiety, as they recommend that you not take ANY medications before a procedure where they use nitrous, but his bedside manner was impeccable regarding my medically diagnosed extremely low tolerance for pain. He talked me through the entire procedure & was completely honest with what I was expected to feel. That, alone, alleviated some of my anxiety. I wish I had pictures, but I only took video & I can't upload it here. Guess I'll put those reviews on "TT" & "the gram". If you are a "scaredy chicken", like me, about dentists. I can't recommend this place enough. They have changed my who opinion about dentistry. read more

I love this dentist office. They really stand by their name! While I was waiting in the very clean and tidy waiting area, I noticed that they had a keruig. I got up to make myself some tea, but there weren't any. The woman at the front noticed what was going on and she got up and found me some! She even put it in and started it for me. The treatment beyond that was just the same. All friendly, all efficient, and all professional! read more

There's not enough kind words to say about Dr. Ly and his team. I had a dental emergency on the weekend and I called first thing in the morning and left a voicemail. Robert at the appointment desk (btw he's a total sweetheart to everyone) called me back promply and set me up with a same day emergency visit. This was was outstanding service considering I left a voicemail on the emergency line at my other dentist the night before and he didn't respond. Cheers to Dr.Ly for thinking quickly and setting me up with a prescription to treat the pain and a shot to numb the pain temporarily. He offered to to do a root canal treatment the following day but I went to an endodontist instead. I feel safe knowing that Friend-Ly dentists possess excellent comminication skills and service and being open on Saturdays is next level! read more

I needed an emergency molar extraction on a very broken and infected tooth. These guys got me an appointment within a couple of hours even though they were running behind. The only issue I had is that they don't have payment plans. BUT at $275 it was much cheaper than anywhere else I could find same-day. The doctor was sympathetic and very gentle considering how much force he had to use to pull Satan's spawn of out of my jaw. Highly recommend. read more

I started taking my kids here. They got cleanings and my 5 yr old son needed to comeback for a filling. They have the friendliest staff and dentist. They explain everything tiny step to me and to my son. The dental assistant is super kind to my kids. Afterwards she explained after care in detail! She told my daughter she could go in the treasure box too even if she was just there for her brother. Definitely glad we made them our go to Dentist! Waiting area is a little hot but we literally never wait longer than 5 min to be seen. Even when we get there early,.. we quickly get taken to the rooms. It's nice and cool back there. Definitely recommend them!! Awesome staff!! read more

So it's been way too long since I've been to the dentist. Finally went in because pain from my wisdom tooth which had developed a hole. First visit they did the normal exam and came up with what treatments needed to be done. Second visit which was today was to remove my bottom wisdom teeth ( the top were done years ago) Dr. Ly came in and introduced himself. I didn't meet him my first visit, he's a very nice man. He explained what all he was going to be doing. Then he got started with the local anesthetic which I didn't feel any pain. Not even the needle going in. After a short time of letting the anesthetic do its job we were ready. When he came back in he checked to make sure I was numb enough to get started and added more anesthetic where needed. The extraction took a few minutes and no pain what so ever! So to sum it up, I found a great dentist who I'll definitely be coming back to and if you are scared of the dentist don't be, everyone at Friend-Ly Dentist is amazing read more
