I went out of town on business over the weekend and began experience dental pain. When I returned on Monday I went to schedule an appointment with the dentist. I had a dentist I had used in the past, but the company I work for had recently changed dental plans and that dentist was not on the new plan. I researched dentists that accepted the new dental plan I have, and after looking at reviews, decided on Conroe Family Dentistry. Through their website I requested an appointment. Within 5minutes of hitting send I was contacted by Connie at Conroe Family Dentistry. I explained my situation and the pain I was in and she was able to get me in the following morning (which was a blessing.) I showed up and the office was beautiful and very clean and was greeted immediately by very friendly staff. X-rays were taken and the problem was found. The problem was explained and a solution was advised. I had broke my back tooth and it unfortunately could not be saved. An extraction was decided upon. I don't typically have a fear of the dentist but the though of loosing a tooth was a bit disheartening. The procedure was painless!! That night I was even contacted by Dr. Robins to make sure I was ok. The kindness and gentleness of everyone at this office was amazing. I would highly recommend Conroe Family Dentistry to anyone looking. Last week, I had an Dental Appointment with Dr. Wood of Conroe Family Dentistry to have a Crown procedure performed. I tell you I am 70 years old and WOW has Dentistry changed over the course of my lifetime. What I expected and what I got was totally a surprise. I expected to get tooth prep'ed, gum / tooth impressions and then a temporary crown only to return in a few weeks for the finished crown. Instead, Dr. Wood prepared the tooth, then took imaging photos of the tooth & area being transmitted to his CAD system. He Designed & Engineered a new custom crown and installed it in just under 45 minutes. Surprising, I did not know that he is also an Engineer, The whole procedure took 1 hour, 45 minutes. Amazing! What you need to know about Dr. Wood is that he is a Dentist who puts his patients concern first. He makes sure you are comfortable the entire procedure. By the way, my crown fits perfectly and has solved the issues I was having. After reading the online reviews, I scheduled an appointment with this office. They truly lived up to their ratings. Audrey took x-rays and cleaned my teeth - she explained everything that was about to happen and talked to me throughout the entire process. She is very professional and excellent at her job. Dr. Robins met with me and examined my teeth. He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable about dentistry. The office was very clean and welcoming. The front office staff greeted me immediately and very courteous when I left. When you are lying in the chair looking at the ceiling, they have a screen which has a running feed of nature and animals which is calming when one is in the chair for the first time at a new office. Had my dental appointment first week of January to have some cavities filled after the coverage restart and had my first appointment with Dr Guzman. He fixed three cavities, and was able to fill in a slight indention from previous cavity filings that had been bothering me at no charge as it had been within a year. They also have this wonderful new device that acts as a tongue guard and suction that made this the easiest dental experience so far. So no yucky water in the back of the throat that you wait to have suctioned by the tech. Staff is always friendly and professional. I cannot say enough how much I love this place. I get immense anxiety about dentistry which caused me to go a long time without visiting the dentist. Everyone from Janet and Raquel to Dr. Robbins and his hygienists Mary and Lisa were very friendly and comforting to me. Getting my teeth cleaned was an easy experience and I'm very thankful to have found such a wonderful place to go with such a welcoming environment. Not to mention the incredible magic they worked on my teeth as well as informing me with how to properly care for my mouth. I am a recent newcomer to Texas and had to have a new dentist. My daughter recommended Conroe Family Dentistry, and I am so glad that she did. I had to have a crown on one of my teeth and was amazed at the modern technology used - completely different and much better than I was used to having. Dr Logan Wood is an amazing and compassionate dentist who is good with people, as he is with dentistry. I was referred to Dr. Wood by a family friend. I can't say just how thankful I am for that. Dr. Wood and staff have been great! I am sure the other dentist in house are great as well. However I can only speak from my personal experience. If your like me, and had a horrible past experience with dentist, then give these folks a try. Going through 5 bad ones to finally find these guys was almost worth it... What a wonderful experience as a new patient with Dr. Radley Robbins! From the moment I walked into his office I was welcomed by the most polite and professional staff. Made next day appointment for broken crown. Check in was simple and easy, and I was in chair within 20 minutes. Dentist and assistant did a great job making sure I was comfortable and knew about each step. In under 2 hours, crown was removed and replaced with permanent crown.
