I was seen by Dr. Schudy for a Orthodontic consultation today. He was very detailed and thorough on explaining the type of treatment I needed. He answered any questions and concerns I had. The x-ray tech was very thorough and took multiple x-rays of my troubled area. Leticia was the dental hygienist and took awesome care and cleaned my teeth with a special tooth, the dentist Dr. Lu did come and check my tooth and they assed my entire mouth for all my issues and told me the cost of my visit that day and for future work. A different dentist came in to do the extraction due to Dr. Lu not doing them he quickly numbed my mouth and had my teeth out in 5 minutes or less !! Quick and not very painful at all! They prescribed pain medication and another lady came in and gave me instructions on how to care for my mouth and gave me paperwork and a toothbrush. I paid and left. Great experience!! read more

This is a GREAT place! I have never had to wait hours here to be seen, in fact, I had just given the front desk our updated information when they called us back! My son likes coming here because they are friendly and have never hurt him. I love it because I am allowed to be next to my son when he is being seen and they inform me of everything. Their rooms, waiting room, and restrooms are very clean and organized as well. Their location is close to many stores which is convenient as well. They failed to communicate their protocols for social distancing before my sons appointment, they would not allow us to go back due to the fact I had my 5 year old daughter with me. Customer service is very bad. Went for a regular cleaning almost two weeks ago as a new patient. Unfortunately they didn't have time to clean my teeth even after being there two hours. After attempting to underhandedly up-sell me when I started asking questions the manager just dismissed me as a patient and refused to find a solution or just clean my teeth as I had initially requested when I scheduled the appointment. My experience is they are trying to scam folks with insurance for more money and if they fail they want you out of their system before you complain to MB2-their parent company. I called this place on a Saturday to deal with a tooth ache on a crown which they had re-glued in place a few months prior. They scheduled me for the following Monday, assuring me they could take care of my problem. Then, a few hours before my appointment I called just to be sure that my ever increasing pain level would be able to be resolved during my visit, they assured me it would. I arrive, and am sent out the door without anything more than a $60 x-ray bill. They did not do anything to my mouth and instead referred me to an endodontist who was on vacation for the entire week. I wished I had made an appointment somewhere else 3 days prior, big waste of time. On my way out, I asked for a prescription for an antibiotic. Considering that is good insurance against an abcess forming, I am lucky I had the foresight to ask for it since my dentist didn't appear to intend to offer. Then, further insult to injury, they wouldn't even honor the 15% off coupon they had sent me in the mail. And a final annoyance, while I was sitting in the waiting room, face swollen, waiting 15 minutes after my appointment time to be brought back, my dentist, Aalia Faruhki walks out the door to go get a coffee from the local starbucks. When you first walk in the waiting room looks rough. The people are very sweet and dr Kristen Jefferson is very nice. The dental hygienist (Connie) is a nice woman, however she is never prepared to begin treatment when myself, or my family members get seated in the chair. My partner came for a perio-scaling and root planing today ($292 procedure for half the mouth). This procedure is suppose to take an hour to complete, if done thoroughly. I timed it and it took Connie 23 minutes. She did not check for pocket depth, which is why it didn't take the full hour. When I asked her about the pocket depth measurements, she responded by saying "oh, I didn't check for any today" (I already knew she hadn't). When I asked her why she didn't, she stated "it wouldn't make any sense to do it today, because the gums are red and irritated and it wouldn't be an accurate reading, but we can do it at the follow-up appointment for the other section of the perio-scaling". This seemed like a bunch of malarkey from someone who was just being lazy. We will wait to see if pocket depth measurements are taken at the next appointment, otherwise we will be making a formal complaint with the Texas department of dental examiners. read more

I went to Element Dental because of the dental insurance I now have. Having gone to a dentist in Tomball for 10 years, that I think very highly of, I was skeptical of this place. I was greeted warmly by a very nice young lady. As I complete the paperwork, I look around and am somewhat concerned by the " store front" waiting area. I was used to a standard style dentist office. When I go to the x-Ray area, I encounter a very friendly young lady professionally doing her job. I was impressed with the equipment. I then go to the exam room. I was tended by a nice lady who was very friendly who did her job professionally. Then comes the dental hygienist... Again, very very friendly and professional. In comes the dentist, does the exam and explains the issue that will be on the horizon. I get the cleaning and all is well. I am given a very good price on work that will eventually needed to be done. No pressure to do it sooner than needed. To sum it up, I was wrong in the initial impression I had of this place. I haven't had any dental work done...yet, but I will give them a try. I will repost on the "needle" thing. That could change everything, but I think it will be ok. read more
