Messed up chef's salad from Wooded Island

Went to Wooded Island last night. They were busy but we waited close to 90 min for our food. Waiter was great but the kitchen is a mess. Wife ordered perch and it was ok. I ordered a chef salad and it was awful. Asst manager refunded 1/2 of the price of the salad and was sympathetic to the issues. Would not recommend going there until the kitchen is sorted out.

Shane is a top botch server. He was friendly and very attentive, checking back with us frequently. The garlic knots were tasty though the garlic seemed powdered. The beyond burger was very good. One of only four restaurants open on a Sunday in Caseville.

Amazing tomahawk steak. Melt in your mouth.

We went in for a few drinks, stayed for one. Service was good. Like a bar on the space station, no atmosphere.

Long wait expensive crappy food. They do have a large parking lot. So that's something. Save your money.

The menu looked excellent. Unfortunately, the plates didn't deliver. Just not impressive. Hopefully, they'll keep working on them.

Food was good and priced good. Had the fish and chips and the soup. Lots of outdoor games and a well stocked bar.

And cute stuff to browse. My husband and I were on a hunt for coffee. We had been to three establishments and struck out at all of them (felt weird, closed, and closed) and I was delirious with caffeine withdrawal when we came upon Lemon Tree. I saw a woman walking down the street carrying a coffee cup and I almost screamed "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?" from our car, but then I saw the storefront--Lemon Tree Marketplace. And I remembered from their Yelp reviews that they had coffee. We came to a screeching halt and went inside. First, yes, the coffee. They stuff here is good! I wasn't sure when I'd get another chance so I got both a cold brew and a vanilla latte. Both were excellent. The cold brew was a vanilla sweet cream variety and that cold foam/sweet cream on top was so good (think thick whipped cream meets a marshmallow). We also got a half dozen donuts and they were so great! Really enjoyed the krullers and the raspberry filled one was delicious and unique! The shop itself is also really cute. I got some stickers from one of my favorite artists (the mincing mockingbird) and enjoyed perusing their housewares, gifts, jewelry, ceramics, kitchen goodies and more. Just delightful. They also have really nice seating outside both on the side of the building and a little outdoor patio in the back that was just perfect on a sunny September afternoon.

We were greeted promptly, our order was taken when we were ready and the food arrived piping hot. Our coffee was filled without asking. These qualities aren't always present with many establishments. Heard the words please, thank you and you're welcome more times than I can count. Great staff. I ordered their most popular breakfast item: corned beef hash. It was perfect. Homemade fried potatoes, ample chunks of meat and eggs over medium that brought together all the flavors. The toast, rye, was yummy. They also have homemade white bread for toast, homemade donuts and cinnamon rolls. Again, another hallmark of a great diner: good cooks and bakers. My husband had the daily special: 2 eggs, meat, potatoes and toast. He said it was perfect. Walt's will be our go-to breakfast spot when near Caseville
