So I would say, this place states that they will serve your food within a certain amount of time and they sure did. So I would applaud them for very fast service and great staff as my waiter was attentive and supportive. I would say the food and drinks are mediocre at best. And you know what? I get it and I can't complain. To push out food that fast I can't see it tasting any better. The food was still good and edible and gave me some fuel for my flight. The restaurant was crowded but I did not have to wait long for a table. It was pretty loud due to the amount of people that were in there. I took my food to go after sitting down due to being anxious I will miss my gate announcement. Overall okay experience.

We had time to wait on our flight so we checked out all the restaurants in Heathrow Terminal 2, deciding on Wondertree, which had the most extensive breakfast menu. I tried the one-skillet breakfast meal, which came in a very hot cast iron skillet on a wooden board, much like Tex-Mex fajitas are served. The dish included scrambled eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, and a mixture of chorizo and veggies. It was delicious and stayed hot until it was gone. The cappuccino decaf (so I could try to sleep on the plane) was prepared from a large Italian coffee maker and was perfect. Tanya our waitress was superb considering how early it was in the morning.

Burrata and focaccia- very tasty!

I actually thought this was really pretty good. It's a very nice setting, a lot of variety of offerings, and the wait staff were fantastic. I got burrata with the focaccia which was really tasty and fresh. My daughter got fish and chips which was average, to above average. We also ordered the Black Magic smoothie which was a little sour and they quickly replaced it without even being asked to the Blueberry one.

Had breakfast at this place during a lay over in London. I'm lost for words because the place and menu look very pleasing. But order the classic breakfast. And was much to be desired. Sooo disappointed and left hungry because I couldn't eat/enjoy much of it. The hash brown was from frozen batch, eggs were runny, baked beans just plopped on the sides, spreading all over the rest of the food, bacon was soggy, must I go in. Well the toast was ok. The staff was very friendly though. Since it was very early many of the other places were not open yet. So if you can wait it out, please do. So many other better places to eat

Full English breakfast

okay, slightly Mediterranean-influenced place. we had breakfast (one full english, one Mediterranean) and we were both satisfied. large cups of coffee and fresh OJ and decent value, considering it's in an airport sit-down with waiter service. service was good+ would recommend if you need a decent place to eat in Terminal 2 at LHR

If you're about to settle in for an eight-hour flight to the states, you should eat something that won't disappear from your belly anytime soon. That was my thinkin' whence I perused Wondertree's menu which, head's up, traveler, is pretty creative. From solid flapjacks to healthy(ish) alternatives to basic bacon and eggs, I had a tough time picking a dish, and finally went with, what else, comfort food for days: chorizo, spinach, scrambled eggs, big bomblets of hot peppers, all strangely underseasoned -- but remedied pronto with an epic Tabasco soaking. Everyone appreciated the food and the service was super lacking, our waiter completely spaced a latte, and I saw him write it down. Training note, management: it's okay to be Sorry (this is Britain, the most polite country the world over, after all). When a table has been waiting and waiting to order, servers shouldn't initiate the conversation with, "Hey, what do you want?" I mean, they may say that, following a quick "Hey guys, super sorry about the wait." It's that easy, and good manners earn extra stars.

Salmon with miso rice something something dark side.

Unexpectedly finding myself transferred to T2 due to a cancelled flight, Wondertree was the first place that caught my eye in the eating department. The waiter who greeted me suggested a table at the rear where it was quieter and I could watch the planes, and at my request even found me a seat next to a power point so that I could recharge my phone. Due to complications with my flight, I knew that this was liable to be my only opportunity to eat this day, so I went straight to the main event and ordered the miso & lime grilled salmon with edamame rice and the rather grandiose-sounding miso pickled cucumber noodles. Although the salmon was a goodly chunk of fish, the rest of the portion size wasn't what you would call enormous. It filled the hole that was my stomach adequately I guess, but I found myself wishing that I'd had a starter. However I enjoyed the meal and the rear of the restaurant was a nice quiet area to chill for a while. If I find myself back in T2 again I know where I'll be heading.

Kids Drinks

Such a cute and amazing place! They have a great kids menu, and are very kid friendly. They have a lighted table that the kids enjoyed. I had the Moroccan Breakfast and kids had bacon and eggs with baked beans and a croissant. We ordered coffee and it was a large size as well. The food tasted amazing and so did the coffee. The service was very friendly. The kids enjoyed the take-away gifts which were classy (a foldable binocular, and an activity book on a lanyard. There was a monocular at the table looking out of the airport as well. They even had great music playing. Brilliant setup! Way to be customer conscious.

I can't give 4 stars! The burger was OK, but a bit dry and the meat not bad, but not fantastic (probably frozen). Service slower than promised (25 min. instead of 15).

NEVER AGAIN! Literally just ate the egg out of this trash they call food.

ABSOLUTLEY GROSS! Vey disappointed that the food was so gross. Click the photo below to see the breakfast we ordered. Picked around it and tried to eat at least a little bit, but I had to stop due to the meat being cold and the food just tasting like it was literally frozen and heated up. Very upset because this hurt my stomach during the flight. Service is alright, nothing stellar. Overall my experience here was absolute trash! Wish I could give this no stars! Not cooked properly and very cold.

Cup of tea in London !!
Cynthia G.

We just wanted a nice cup of tea (not out of a paper cup). Wandered in here and got seated right away - service on the other hand was very slow. Finally he took our order, 2 teas, a croissant and a scone. She came with the tea and we asked for the bill. Few minutes later we got the bill for the two teas. Had to flag her down and ask for the pastries....finally we got; tea pastries and the bill. It's was just OK for the heavy scone and the very crunchy croissant.... I guess I had a higher expectation

Seasonal fresh fruit plate with honey and mint

Eating in an airport can go either way - shoddy, careless service or the rare gem of an eatery that upholds its standards regardless of location. Upon peeping the menu at Wonder Tree, I knew we were star-crossed lovers. Eating alone, I was promptly taken to my seat and my order was taken by my cheerful waitress. I went with the seasonal fruit plate and mezze plate. Catering to my sweet tooth, I started with the seasonal fruit plate - strawberries, blueberries, and what seemed to be a hybrid orange/ grapefruit all topped with a honey rosewater and mint sauce. This dish is as simple as it gets and delicious as it gets; I'm inspired to whip it up on my own. The mezze plate sported hummus, focaccia with red peppers, and tabbouleh. The tabbouleh was a tad dry but when mixed with the hummus and topped on the focaccia, this small plate made for a delicious mid-day fuel. From beginning to end the servers were attentive and conversational and the food was just what I needed to keep me going on my long day of travel.

Really a random place in the airport but it looked healthy and lo and behold, it's healthy. Really healthy. This was my flight before I left my favorite city of London, so came here for some healthy Fish N Chips... and they were. We also ordered a side of coleslaw. This wasn't like BRITISH fish n chips... this was like if Fish N Chips went on a diet... it was still good, but you know it's not British. Oh yeah, I eat a lot of Fish N Chips when I come to the UK. The cole slaw was AMAZING. I love cole slaw, so it was pretty good. I got some juice as well because... why not, it's healthy. It was pretty good. The ambiance is quite weird inside the airport but it also felt like a nice restaurant at the mall. So it was cool. Overall, pretty neat place to eat.

I have to say it was some of the best espresso and chocolate croissant I've had. Albeit a bit pricey on what you're receiving, the quality and grandiose more than makes up for it. This cafe has a limited menu featuring breakfast, pastries, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. We were there around 8am and the Louis Vuitton store adjacent to it was already open as well for folks who were in the mood to shop. The espresso was served in a beautiful glass adorned with the LV monogram symbols and the plate as well. Everything in each little detail was adorned with the monogram pattern. When I asked for sugar it was served shaped as a monogram flower. The napkin had a monogram flower and it was just so classy-ly done. What stood out to me was the croissant being brought by the chef himself and it was massive. There was powdered sugar sprinkled on top with the monogram flower shown in the sugar. The chocolate filling was made with some of the best chocolate one could have and the croissant itself was so flaky. It probably took me at least five to ten minutes to finish it because it was that big. Staff here was pretty friendly and I loved the touch of the bar decorated with three beautiful louis vuitton trunks. Take a moment to look around and appreciate the art, architecture, design, and interior decorating. It is all a blast.
