    Small waffle and burnt chicken
    Vero D.

when I first walked in good music was playing and the bar tender was so nice . I was really excited when I seen they had chicken and waffles. It wasn't busy when i walked in . My chicken was burnt and my server she disappeared the second she brought it out. My waffle? What waffle it was small and also burnt. Took forever for someone to walk by it like they all disappeared un till a big crowd came in. Very disappointed in the food and service.

    Perfect milk shake.

Delicious salad (wish it was a bit bigger, would combine with hummus next time) and an absolutely perfect vanilla bean packed milkshake. Fast service in a comfortable setting.

Being an American, and from New Jersey at that, I love my diners! And this London diner did not disappoint! The entrance reminded me of a night club, which was interesting. I'm not sure why they had this red velvet rope and someone who appeared to be a bouncer, but hey! It adds an extra level of security that you don't normally get at an eating establishment. The main difference from an American diner was the portion sizes were smaller. I ordered a waffle, and it came with fresh berries and chocolate ice cream. My friends got a breakfast wrap and pasta. It was close to midnight after a broadway show and it made for a very easy, satisfying meal. Also, they have tall, comfortable booth seating.

Nice environment, open 24 hours! Price- decent Milkshakes- poor (watery/ milky/ not thick) 01:00 am review. A decent place for food at night, staff are friendly. Terrible price if you just want a milkshake, due to the early morning £2.50 extra charge, it adds up.

It's a nice place, open 24hours. The staff if nice. There are some differences as far as the sizes of the food so beware of that. The Belgium waffle one is used to is quite different as far as the portion of it; the flavor is amazing. The drinks are good but when you order a macchiato remember it's small compared to what one is used to in America. Definitely try this place

Wow, a decent place that opens 24/7 in Central London, where you can just go in for a cuppa. Between 8am and 6pm you can have a free refill of your tea or coffee. The set menu from midday to midnight looks good value, like £11.95 for two course and £14.95 for three. And there is an afternoon tea for £4.50. If you sign up for their newsletter, you get a free dessert. They also have a bar and is fully licensed all day until 2am, and they have free wifi. The service is friendly and helpful. They greet everyone with a great welcome and smile. I won a two course meal, so hopefully the portion size is the same as if I am a paid customer, as it is quite generous. All tastes good and fresh, and nicely presented. Although the grilled salmon I had was slightly overdone for my liking, but others may find it just fine. It is served with some delicious and perfectly sauteed new potatoes and a very generous portion of lovely spinach. Often vegetables are a small side dish, so very impressed with this. My other half, chose the lamb served with vegetable couscous, harissa and tzatziki and it was very good. The lamb is very tasty and tender. However, the desserts are worthy of a recommendation. I love apple pie and crumble and it was piping hot and especially the custard as often this can be either lukewarm or cold. The apple is a bit sour for my liking but again, some people may like this. My other half had the warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Another good choice! Although I wanted the same choice of menu, I ordered differently so I could try something else as well, rather than both having the same dishes But it is one place where I will definitely go back! Nice atmosphere and ambience, decent food and hopefully good value, we need to go back and test that last bit!

I stumbled upon this place whilst visiting London last November. The server super friendly, attentive and funny ! Food was good, prepared quickly and the establishment was very clean.

Hmmm... I work quite close so been in a bit and its an odd sort of place. Atmosphere... Canteen.. But its 24 hour with a alcohol license. Staff.... Sometimes... Often I think the staff forget you are there. I think this complacency is encouraged by 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill. No need to try if they already pay you! Food... Its really actually slightly above par. A a weird selection. I've had one of the salads a soup and fries. They all came fresh from kitchen and tasted like gastropub food. Well made with love but not high end by any degree. Its a bit of a mix. I'd say expensive but pleasant lunch.. Not dinner place. Come with patience.

    Great food!

The small English breakfast - yum!

The little bustling restaurant definitely has plenty of atmosphere, we loved the Happy Days swinging 50s thing. The service staff were upbeat and good fun. It is a great place to take the kids or have a teenagers birthday party etc etc. But measured on the BURGETRON.... Not great... The food was cooked and presented like a slightly (and I mean slightly) up market Fish and Chippy. Not expensive but not cheap. The coke floats we so eagerly ordered weren't great either. A random hotdog glided past my eyes glossed in goo cheese and also sadly didn't look overly appertising either. We were a bit disappointed that the food wasn't very nice after being so excited initially, it was busy though so maybe on a quieter day the quality might be a little better. The menu was interesting and there were plenty of options including a choice of two Vege burger, cheesy fries, milk shakes, choc sundaes....all the usual Americana Diner things... It was loud and crowded so if you're looking to chill.... Best not go on the weekends... So in closing.... go and have a look...take the kids... it's no food destination but definitely fun... anyway ....as Fonzi would say.... Ayyyyyy!!!!!

In terms of food quality however, I wasn't very impressed and could have probably eaten a better meal at MacDonald's or dare I say it, Burger King. If you're watching the calories there isn't really any safe option so probably stick with the water or diet coke. Everything is deep fat fried meaning that it tends to be on the greasy side (I did say think 'Grease') I opted for a cheese burger after an alcohol fuelled evening when I would be less cautious of the whole unhealthy thing, but still struggled with the burger as it was just far too greasy . The milkshakes are great though and you would probably struggle to find better. These tend to be very popular and what Ed's is famous for.
