An easy and quick spot for breakfast in LHR Terminal 3; all the places immediately following security had quite the line out the door - but Giraffe is slightly further into the terminal and was able to seat me immediately. I opted for a vanilla oat milk latte (fairly standard and good!), and the breakfast burrito. It was a decent portion and very flavorful - definitely a hearty way to start my morning. (I was also so hungry I forgot to take a picture until I was almost done!) Service was fast - but since I wasn't boarding for an hour, was able to linger without feeling like I needed to leave to clear the table. They also have a sign saying they try to get dishes out in 10mins and to let them know if you are in a rush at all.

Surprisingly tasty lunch for airport food. Service very casual and nonchalant. My Thai seafood red curry on rice had lots of shrimp and cuttlefish plus tons of vegetables.

I ordered salt and pepper squid and Middle Eastern Salmon with grilled vegetables and tabbouleh. Service was actually very fast but the server was rushing me constantly. The squid was cooked and seasoned nicely. The salmon unfortunately was dry with a soggy skin but the yogurt helped. The tabbouleh was very nice and fresh. The vegetables were a bit soggy and under seasoned. The plate was very colorful and well presented though. The ambiance was very rushed chaos and with a lack of music all you can hear is the servers and kitchen staff shouting orders at one another. Also a Moroccan mint tea (6 mint leaves in hot water) was crazy at £3.55. Decent meal for an airport but I felt very rushed. The server wasn't very friendly.

This is the avocado mash toast. It was amazing! And as you can see, the presentation was outstanding.

The food was outstanding. Prices reasonable especially in an airport environment. Quick to get a table and food came out very fast. It says on the menu they try to get food out within 10 minutes and honestly it seemed a little quicker than that. Based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. I hope you have an amazing experience like we did.

The speed at which this place operates is unbelievably good. There are very few sit down dining options in Terminal 5, but I recall enjoying a meal here previously. While you are standing in line, a staff member hands you a menu so you can start deciding. They seat about 4 tables at the same time. The tables are getting cleared off as new parties are coming in like a dance against time. Initially I wanted to order a beef burger but they said they cannot serve medium temperature at the airport. I don't know why airport policy would be different than a regular restaurant, but the idea of that turned me off, so I went with a crispy chicken sandwich. This was very filling and could be shareable with another side. I loved the bun this came on. The breading is more like a fish filet style breading, which I wasn't expecting. I appreciated the generous veggie slices on the sandwich. Texturally this was a soft sandwich, so the veggies added a nice crunch. I ordered a simple glass of wine and was offered two sizes. I thought I had requested the smaller size, but the glass felt massive. For the price, the service size was correct. My waiter was not there for the small talk and kept the tables moving. On a day with limited time, his speedy service was exactly what I needed.

Loved this spot in terminal 5! Great ambiance. Good service. Great food!! I had hoped to come back on our way home but we ended up in a different terminal.

"Airplane travel is nature's way of making you look like your passport photo." --Al Gore When my hubs and I first arrived in London, we were famished! Giraffe Stop, inside the arrivals terminal, seemed like a decent place to grab a bit to eat. Since he lived in the UK for a while, he proceeded to teach me how tea is usually enjoyed in this region... with milk and sugar! It was interesting to try, but it will take some getting used to. My Ham and Cheese Melty definitely hit this spot. They were generous on the cheese and the sandwich was flavorful. His Malay Curry Bowl was delicious and filling. Although still inside a busy airport, this snack stop didn't feel hurried or rushed. It was a nice reprieve from the 11ish hour long flight.

I have to say it was some of the best espresso and chocolate croissant I've had. Albeit a bit pricey on what you're receiving, the quality and grandiose more than makes up for it. This cafe has a limited menu featuring breakfast, pastries, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. We were there around 8am and the Louis Vuitton store adjacent to it was already open as well for folks who were in the mood to shop. The espresso was served in a beautiful glass adorned with the LV monogram symbols and the plate as well. Everything in each little detail was adorned with the monogram pattern. When I asked for sugar it was served shaped as a monogram flower. The napkin had a monogram flower and it was just so classy-ly done. What stood out to me was the croissant being brought by the chef himself and it was massive. There was powdered sugar sprinkled on top with the monogram flower shown in the sugar. The chocolate filling was made with some of the best chocolate one could have and the croissant itself was so flaky. It probably took me at least five to ten minutes to finish it because it was that big. Staff here was pretty friendly and I loved the touch of the bar decorated with three beautiful louis vuitton trunks. Take a moment to look around and appreciate the art, architecture, design, and interior decorating. It is all a blast.
