I am also very happy that I did not have a surgeon perform a surgical face lift. Those who have had a surgical face lift tell me that they regret having had one. Not only is the post-surgery extremely painful even with pain medication, but you need continued maintenance such as the T-Lift every two-three years, which is expensive. I did not qualify for a minor T-Lift, and my only option was a surgical facelift and neck lift. NO to plastic surgery for me! Also, my droopy eyelids were literally closing, and the feeling was extremely uncomfortable to live with and to me very unattractive. Research reveals that surgical eyelid procedures can leave you pop-eyed, which can also possibly cause serious complications- ---yes even death. I also did just one CO 2 Laser simple procedure for my extremely droopy eyelids in July 2025, which I consulted with Dr Mari about----non-surgical and unbelievably affordable. My eyelids were so droopy that it was uncomfortable to live with. I will have a second CO 2 Laser procedure on my eyelids in February 2026 to address possibly even better results due to how severe my eyelid droopiness was initially, and eyelid droopiness interfering with my vision. People need to realize that Dr. Mari uses the most updated research and non-surgical procedures, and people flock to her in lieu of having plastic surgery----such as myself. But Sarah, the last provider--and honestly one or two before her--did other procedures that accomplished nothing. Sarah used a volumizer at the bottom of my lip corners plus threads. The only outcome was a badly bruised chin for two months. She told me not to get too excited because the "filling" was just inflammation. As a nurse, that was concerning to me--I wanted filler, not inflammation. After the procedure, the pitch shifts to more expensive treatments, like microneedling. Sure, that might be worthwhile on its own, but it doesn't solve my problem. Two and a half months after Sarah told me I'd see results, I've seen none. Zero. I spent $1,800 for nothing. I called the Biltmore location on Thursday, September 16th, and spoke with someone whose name I unfortunately didn't get. They said they'd call me Friday morning. Nothing. Today is Monday, and while I've left another message, I don't expect a response. I'll be going to a provider who will actually listen and do this very minor filler procedure for me.
