As I ponder on the concept of Wonder Kitchen I have come to a conclusion that the concept is brilliant. Does the concept equate to the same quality of food you would get at one of the actual restaurants that Wonder partners with? No, it doesn't because it isn't cooked in the same way by design. I would think of this as a one stop shop airport food hall where items may be precooked. I tried the brisket sandwich from Tejas BBQ and the presentation left something to be desired. It was okay but for the price point it was disappointing. I also tried a build your own salad which was okay. Maybe other items on the menu are better.

It's clean, modern, and way more spacious than a lot of other food courts in the area, which makes it easy to hang out without feeling cramped. What I like most is the variety. You can get everything from hand pulled noodles and spicy Sichuan dishes to Korean street food and fun dessert spots all in one place. It's perfect for groups because everyone can order from different vendors and still sit together. Prices are pretty reasonable, and portions are solid. It does get busy, especially on weekends, so finding a table can take a little patience. And like any food hall, some stalls are better than others but overall, the quality is consistently good. If you're in Flushing and want options without having to walk all over the neighborhood, Tangram Food Hall is definitely worth checking out.

Made my stomach feel not so clean after but it was good! The soup dumplings were okay, I don't think it's the best or worst I've had. The food court has no reception and can get very packed, especially since this place gets talked about a lot. The food court also has cool vending machines with blind boxes that are sometimes hard to find which is nice. If you live here it's pretty convenient place to stop by.

Best food court in NYC !!!…read more I have probably ate at 1,000 different stalls inside the New World Mall food court over the years, so let me be its 1,000th review. Seems fitting. Considering I just did another mini food tour with my friends today, this place has been my go to for a quick bite in Flushing since its inception. Not a whole lot of the stalls have lasted over the years, but a handful remain, while the new entrants keeps the food court interesting. Below is the current list of vendors as of May 2025. And the soup was very comforting, slightly spicy. I got the soybean paste soup.

This is a small food hall that is easy to miss if you blink when you walk by. The place is narrow…read morebut fairly deep. Most of the shops are on the ground level, along with some seating. There's more seating on the 2nd floor, plus a press on nail place. Walk up one more set of stairs to the 3rd floor for more seating, plus restrooms and one more restaurant counter (a chicken place). I do not know how the place on the 3rd floor stays in business. I didn't notice signs on the ground level letting everyone know it's up there. It's definitely better to have a spot on the ground level where there's more foot traffic. Seems like a lot of people know about this food hall. It is fairly crowded. Many of the restaurants looked interesting, so we made 2 rounds to look at all the offerings before deciding what to get. We picked up Shrimp Udon from the Seoul New York (located way at the back; they offer a discount for paying by cash), and also a Potato Korean Hot Dog from Sweet Churros (located at the front as the first restaurant on the right side after walking through the front door). Both were good. I love food halls because everyone in your group can find something different to eat. And it's a plus when there's seating and restrooms available. This one is a hidden gem in Koreatown. Great dining spot for a casual or quick meal. The prices are reasonable compared to some of the "sit down" restaurants in the neighborhood.

Lots fresh seafood, prepared meals, fruit & vegetable prices are average/can be slightly higher than other Asian Markets. They have a lot of good sales that change weekly. In addition to Korean ingredients, there's a lot of Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese sauces & spices, Thai curry paste. LIVE Tuna & Roast Pig carving on Saturdays! (the freshest tuna samples w/ soy & spicy dipping sauce) Here's a list of great things to buy from this HMart location! Top Highlight: the house roasted Korean Sweet Potatoes (purple skin, yellow flesh). About $5-7 for 2-3 in a bag. The whole market smells amazing when you walk in. Try this with the "Country-style" Kimchi on top!! (rinse the kimchi a little if its too spicy for you) Have bought on sale: * Shin Black Ramen for $6.99 (I pick out the large pepper flakes in the veggie packet & only use 1/4 spicy powder packet) * Paldo Gomtang Ramen (mild bone broth, thin noodles) * Indo Mee Ramen (check expiration dates though) * Individual ramen flavors to try: Buldak Carbonara, blue Jin mild, Mama Tom Yum (Thai ramen) * Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce * different cooking sauces, vinegars, cintron honey * Soon Tofu (for tofu stew) + a few shrimp, small clams from the seafood counter * SO much roasted & seasoned Korean Seaweed (Gim) & other seaweed for stock * Lots of Furukake options * All different Pocky flavors are on sale a lot * Noodles Soup kits on the last far right Refrigerator Wall. Pulmone brand is good (chilled buckwheat noodles in bone broth for the summer). * Haagen Daz pints $6.99 * Individual viral Fruit-shaped Ice cream bars (Mango, Lemon, Peach). $3.99 Good but literally 3-4 bites. * Prepared Foods: Japchae (glass noodles), Broiled Mackerel, Pumpkin Porridge, Bibimbap Toppings (4-pack with shitake, spinach). Kimbap (cooked sushi rolls), Spam Musubi is nice to try (but got sick off of one bought late in the day). Korean rice cakes are just okay - kind of dense & almost zero sugar/sweetness. * The marinated raw meat bar is convenient & just okay. Chicken thighs are good - like a sweet chili marinade with a hint of soy. Bulgogi is convenient but the marinade is a little too sweet for me. Have to try the pork belly, chicken wings, maybe breast... * Kitchen Supply & Home Goods sections are excellent. Buckwheat pillow, Dishwashing gloves (& kimchee/house gloves), lots of Korean pots & pans, dinnerware, cooking utensils, tupperware - well priced. Bought a small-medium sized minimal-designed white fan (clear blades) which looks great in my apartment. They have some beauty products also. The "Italian green scrub towels" seem like they're made differently these days, a decent price there. Try the different types of packaged individual microwaveable Rice (mixed grain, purple rice, Gold brown rice) They carry Fever-Tree Sparkling Cucumber & Quinine tonic water! * Cafe & Bakery section: similar quality as Paris Baguette. All very fresh. Custard bun, Any sponge/chiffon cake with not-too-sweet buttercream, Soboro (peanut crumble topping bun) Had an Matcha Einspanner drink - well made & medium-strong flavor. * Stationary shop & video & dance dance games up front * Not a huge fan of their food court food. Had a Jajiangmein (Black Bean Noodle) & it wasn't very flavorful. Rice Boy looks okay. All the menus have a lot going on & wish there was specialized items/regions for each stall. $1.99 matcha & ube Ice Cream had very little flavor. * Very convenient to Q104 bus between Sunnyside & Astoria. 2 blocks from 46th St. Subway (exit at 48th St. side)
