2 Chicks with Chocolate is AMAZING! Every time I go I have a wonderful experience and look forward to trying their new flavor creations. Everyone who works there is so sweet and helpful and I've even been able to try a sample or few ;) when they aren't busy. My faves are cold brew coffee caramel, PB whiskey truffle, lime gin gimlet (my husband's favorite), kalamansi margarita, and marshmallow fluff. It's very obvious they take a lot of time and effort to get each flavor perfect and design each one. I love the balance in each chocolate. For the Christmas season my kids loved the hot cocoa snowman and dark chocolate mint reindeer. The black forest was also delicious. One time my husband bought me the 50 piece assortment and I was in heaven. For Valentine's Day and Easter they do even more new flavors. I just happened to stop in the shop with my husband to get some chocolates when the owner Elyissia was in (I only know this now because I heard her tell someone else her name. She was so sweet and I could see she takes pride in everything her shop creates.) We got a sneak taste of this year's new Valentine's flavors and let me tell you, you are going to want to grab several of each one, they were to die for! Really hoping some make it into regular rotation, flavors I've never seen anywhere else. I sent a birthday gift to a very dear friend who's been in and out of the hospital and gratefully, was home for his birthday. I didn't find this site until Friday and his birthday was Monday. I went to this choco expo in Bally's twin river casino in RI over the weekend and picked up some of (2 chicks with chocolate) chocolates. When I got home it melted and just somehow exploded in the package. The girl who packaged it must have squeezed it too hard and I didnt know until I got home. I was very disappointed seeing this melted and looks disgusting in the box. I also was very disappointed with the service I received at the expo. It was as if the workers did not want to work there and they told us a special deal AFTER we had already bought the 6 piece. I dont understand why she couldn't have mentioned it before or during my purchase..... I would never recommend this place and please save your money. I had past this chocolate shop so many times, and I'm so mad at myself for waiting so long to come in! They sell delicious gourmet chocolate. The chocolate is smooth and creamy. I purchased six truffles. The marshmallow fluff, cookie butter, Nutella, peanut butter and jelly, dark chocolate filled with peanut butter, and a milk chocolate filled with peanut butter. All were incredible! My favorite one filled with marshmallow fluff. I also purchased a delicious milk chocolate bar filled with peanut butter and two milk chocolate turtles. The milk chocolate bar filled with peanut was absolutely amazing! This location is small, but there is still enough items to satisfy your sweet tooth! Cute little specialty chocolate shop in Central Jersey! They sell small chocolate pieces and interesting lollipops. there's a small seating area and a coffee menu. I purchased a s'mores lollipop for my daughter and she loved it. We were here for a birthday party where the participants each made a chocolate pizza. Now, I haven't tasted the end product, but it was a fun experience for the kids. They also offer different chocolate classes on their website (currently chocolate and wine pairings, holiday chocolate/gingerbread house painting and Thanksgiving chocolate pizza making). I took the chocolate and wine pairing class and was super disappointed. There was ZERO learning and over the two hours we only got 3 chocolates. I was expecting "dark chocolate goes best with a port wine" or something like that - it was "heres a truffle and some rosé." If you're going to call something a "class" it should be educational. There was also a painting component where we painted on chocolate pallets. There was no instructions at all and the chocolate "paint" hardens quickly so you have to frequently warm it up at this warming station. We were pretty much left to ourselves. Had a Groupon for the dessert pizza making class & it was so much fun!!! You start with a tortilla-like dough, a cup of melted chocolate & there are a ton of different toppings to choose from. The only negative is that the chocolate hardens really fast, so you have to work quickly The store itself is really cute & they sell beautiful chocolate that is hand-painted (and a bit pricey). I originally came here after buying a Groupon for the Cocoa 101 class. It was a fun night out and I indulged in a box of their beautifully hand painted bonbons. Shortly after, I saw that they had a Groupon for a chocolate and beer pairing! At this point I think I was just looking for an excuse to go back. My friend and I enjoyed the class- it's something different to try! The chocolates are expensive, but they're also some of the best chocolates you'll ever eat. Usually I bring tasty treats home to my family and they are completely disinterested - not so this time!! I think we ate all 12 pieces within 24 hours of purchase and we've already picked out our next 12. The flavors were incredible. You can taste the fillings - in our case champagne, vanilla sea salt caramel, PB, PB&J, Marshallow fluff, cold brew coffee, chocolate bombs and milk truffles. A very small neat place! The chocolate was so beautiful and creative that I didn't know want to even eat them! I bought 1 dozen of them and I got to pick and choose which ones I wanted! The total for 1dz for you to pick and choose is $27. If you get a box that is already premade, it is cheaper. So when I gave them to my boyfriend and we tried them, they were magnificently delicious! We did a private chocolate painting event for 10 people on the Thursday night and it was perfect! Melissa was a great help and really kept the party going by playing any music we wanted during our time there, she also had some great tips to help us create our master pieces! It was pretty affordable since we could bring in our own snacks and it was a byob! While we painted we got 3 wine tastings with chocolate pairings were a perfect treat throughout the party! I was introduced to 2 Chicks by a friend who got the Cocoa 101 class through Groupon. It's less than half off, so worth it! Class was awesome. Instructor was knowledgeable about chocolate. Best part, you got to taste some wine with the chocolate and you make your own truffle. We liked it so much we decided to do the painting class. You get it for $15 if you pay during Cocoa class. This class is at another location (East Brunswick). Also, very good instructor (one of the 2 Chicks!). Entire painting and canvas is edible! Yummy chocolate. We held my sisters bridal shower here last week and had a very positive experience. Elyissia worked at a very good deal for us it was about 17 of us on a Thursday night we chose to bring our own food and just do the painting class with the chocolate canvas . It was so different and unique. The store in metuchen fit us perfectly but I don't think we would have much space if we had any more girls. marianne was working that night and did everything to make us feel welcome. She even allowed my mom to come early to help decorate the store. We were very pleased and would look forward to doing another event with them not to mention the chocolate was just amazing read more

Place opened up in town a few weeks ago. I have gone in a few times to try it out. So far the place is doing well. They have chocolatier classes offering an exclusive class where you can learn Cocoa 101 as they call it. They also pair wine & chocolate and you can even make your own chocolate truffles to take home. This sounds like a fun night out with a group or if you wanted to make is a special night with that special someone. This might be something romantic. The Cocoa 101 Classes are $49.95. I have not done it yet but might be looking for it in the winter months. Or maybe even as a Christmas gift for my Bride. I will update as I visit more. read more

I suggested this place for my son who wanted to arrange a small surprise 30th birthday for his fiancé on 17 November 2018. I was impressed when the owner called me back to finalize arrangements and she came across very accommodating (as most privately owned businesses are and should be). There is only a 30 minute turnaround between parties but I was assured that staff would help me get ready. I'm still not sure if that is one or two businesses in one location but many people were standing around and not one offered to help me. Our hostess, Joanne, was friendly but not as attentive as she should have been. We did the chocolate painting and the colored chocolate hardened so quickly that I think most people lost interest to continue. I feel more thought could be given on how to keep the individual chocolates warm. Two guests cancelled and even though their places were set with the slab chocolate for painting, we were still charged the full price for these two people. Only charging us for the chocolate slabs would have been fair. An automatic 18% gratuity is added and paid in cash. We are very fair and generous tippers (sometimes over 20%) but I am struggling to justify that this experience and service warranted 18%! I think that this company could cater very well to children's activities but they fall short to reach adult expectations. I still have a credit from a Groupon that I didn't use but I don't have any incentive to return here. Even though the afternoon wasn't a disaster I am disappointed in the event and I would NOT RECOMMEND this for adults. read more

The worst was when she kept placing her water bottle in between two women's elbows on our already clearly crowded table. This is a family owned chocolate shop that makes gorgeous and yummy chocolates. They have never failed me yet and I have been going there for years. There is something for everyone and they always have special holiday themed chocolates for the kids too. My husband loves the luxury ones for Father's Day or other special occasions. They are beautifully decorated and they have gorgeous boxes. They also do chocolate birthday parties for the kids. I did this for my daughter's birthday and it was a huge hit.
