I began receiving their weekly coolers of fresh, organic, salads, prepared entrees, and healthy snacks in or around 2014 when the 9 Mile team began delivering to businesses in the western and northern Boston suburban markets. My office was in Burlington, MA and 9 Miles East delivery service was selected among several other delivery service companies by my company to provide lunch to our employees. After I had sampled several other area food delivery services, I found 9 Miles East Farm delivery to be far superior to the other food delivery companies. 9 Miles East food is fresher, tastier, not overwhelmed by mushy sauces and unnecessary spices, and comes prepared straight from their organic farm. Every other food delivery service is competing for second place. I am also a big eater and their dinner entrees are thankfully large enough for four servings, although after a 50 mile bike ride or a long run, I have been known to savor an entire entree myself :-). While working in Burlington, MA and living in Boston, I looked forward to their deliveries each Monday morning to my office in a cooler that was packed with my weekly meals and sufficiently cooled with sold ice water bottles to keep the food cool until I got home. Their website makes selecting meals very simple. The meal choices, which vary by week and season and are prepared with different vegetables and proteins, are consistently fresh and tasty. When I changed jobs in 2018 and began officing out of my home in Boston, I was thrilled that 9 Miles Farm delivered my cooler to my condo in Beacon Hill. I am happy to say that I still look forward to my door bell ringing each Monday prior to noon and picking up my sumptuous weekly meals. The staff was punctual, kind, smiley, helpful, and just all around great. The food was delicious and we had more than enough, especially on the dessert end (which always has fallen short with other caterers in the past). The caterers were kind enough to offer to wrap plates to go for anyone/everyone who wanted, which was just a really great extra detail that helped so much. So many guest complimented the food and asked where it came from, ALWAYS a good sign. Email and phone correspondence were always fast and detailed throughout the planning process. They could have done nothing, or they could have responded to the reviews myself and my family left, and then we all move on with our lives.
