It was a busy day to order takeout everywhere - Halloween so I ordered ahead online early in the day for a 5:15 delivery. I wanted to edit my order mid day they were helpful and credited my card no problem. At 5:25 I called and they said sorry we are just putting it in the oven. They were polite, sorry and obviously very busy. I said I'll come get it we didn't have time to wait for delivery. When I got there there was a line out the door and they were swamped but again polite and doing their best. They had half my order ready and I couldn't wait for the rest so I asked them to credit me for it. Thinking full well I would need to follow up today and there was no way they remembered it. But I looked this morning and they had processed the credit card refund for that food and took the tip off I had given them since they did not deliver. It was a crazy night and it did not go perfect but the pizza we got was hot and delicious and they handed it the best they could with strong follow up. We picked up a large pizzaville pizza yesterday. The pizza itself was delicious but the price is crazy. $32 and change for a regular size large. We called it in but If you order online they have it listed at $34. With so many other local places I think they are pricing themselves out of the market. read more

The steak tips here are better than most restaurants I've been to. The marinade is good and they don't under or over cook them. I put them on a Greek salad and I'm very happy. It isn't cheap, but I deserve it! This is better than most sit-down restaurant salads. We love their pizza, too, although I have to say the calzones are out of this world. I would get them frequently if I weren't trying to control calories. The amount of cheese is very generous. We like the shrimp one (Mediterranean?). Their burgers are also of high quality. My daughter likes their eggplant parmesan dinner. I will, however, side with the low reviews on sandwiches. I got a club sandwich once and was very disappointed - could have made a better one at home myself. read more

Small shop with few parking spots off a main road. Called for a pickup order on a Sunday evening. There were around 5 pizza staff in the store. One was busy taking phone orders, the other was busy packing food, the other was loading pizzas in the oven and the other was getting ready to deliver an order and the last one was out in the back room helping with other stuff. My pizza was ready and sitting on the oven top while I was waiting for almost 5 mins after payment. They looked busy since it is a new shop and they are still trying to get into the flow. The pizza itself was HEAVY. I just ordered a veggie pizza as a starting place. The pizza tasted great. Full of vegetables and it was very artfully placed (see pic). The single slice was almost equivalent to two slices which you get a a dominos or pizzahut - it was that filling. $20 for a large pizza but it is worth it since it is a private shop and the pizza itself was made with fresh ingredients. No commercial additives or flavors were added, I assume. Overall great experience. Small developing shop, so I will overlook any of their errors or slowness. Would like to see them succeed in their pizza business. Will order from them again as it is very close to my house. Great going guys. read more

Over the weekend I decided to order a pizza from Pizzaville, take-out. I arrived to pick it up, and it was ready on time. I ordered two toppings, so the bill came to $18 - $19. I gave the cashier a $20 .. AND HE PROCEEDED TO PUT MY CHANGE IN THE TIP JAR?! :-o Really? Is Generation Z THAT entitled?? Well, congratulations - you just lost a customer. Hate to remove a star. Unfortunately after my last take of a few submarine sandwiches, I felt completely ripped off. A Ham and cheese submarine was basically a lettuce sub. A single thin layer of ham in the sub which was missing from any taste in the order. The subs are not cheap. For the price one would expect to actually have meat in it. I'll keep just two stars because the ingredients were fresh but the subs are not a good value for the money. Doubt I will be returning for sandwiches ever again. You want a takeout joint that delivers (literally) a perfectly cooked pie with a well balanced cheese/topping/sauce ratio, this is your place. We've been ordering with them for years and every single time, we are always satisfied with our meal. Pricing is fair for the hard times we find ourselves in. My wife and I moved in at the end of October. We typically don't dine out, but with the move it was a nice time saver. We saw Pizzaville a few times when we toured the area and decided to give it a shot. The pizza was much better than expected! Pizza restaurants are a dime a dozen but it's hard to find a quick and easy place with good quality. Not only was the food great, but the service was awesome. Most recently (our third time in a month) we ordered a few pizzas, one of which wasn't right so we called back. The employees couldn't have been better about it. Nothing but genuine apologies. I swear they had the right pizza put in the oven before we even hung up. When I went to pick it up, they were all apologetic and wouldn't accept a tip for being so accommodating (we got to keep the "wrong" pizza). I promised them I'd be back! Thank you guys! read more

Most of their food is pretty good and their menu is versatile with a lot of options. Our last visit was a pickup. I got a terrific Steak Bomb Sub and a Ceasar Salad with Grilled Chicken. My order was fine. I can't say the same for my wife who got a Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. We hadn't been there in a long time. Many months in fact. The reason was that my wife had the Grilled Chicken and it was pink on the inside the last time. Well this time I ordered Grilled Chicken and it was fine. But my wife's Grilled Chicken was again pink on many pieces. We didn't call to complain. And I don't want to give these guys a negative review up here, but the undercooked Chicken ruined our meal experience because my wife was miserable to the point that she threw the chicken out and resorted to Turkey Breast we had in our Deli drawer in our refrigerator. We also had a delivery issue with them a year ago with the delivery person delivering our food to the wrong address and not giving us a receipt. Overall these guys do a good job, but undercooked Chicken twice in 2 consecutive deliveries is unacceptable. It kept us away from ordering from them one whole year and here we are again. I didn't want to complain or give them a negative review, but someone at Pizzaville needs to tell the cooks to butterfly their Chicken and cook it thoroughly. We'll probably pass on ordering food from them for awhile as there are many options around Ashland where we live. I'm disappointed because I really like these guys. read more

Found Pizzaville while searching online and decided to give them a try based on the reviews. Ordered all different kinds of pizza for my son's birthday party. Yes... I took a risk since I had never tried their food however it paid off! Each and every one was AMAZING! From the veggie to the bbq chicken to the Hawaiian and the Pizzaville special! The party size pizza was especially perfect for such an occasion. We also tried the salad - you could tell it was freshly made with quality ingredients. They delivered on time. Pizza delivery took 75 min for two very small pies. As you could imagine, the pizza was cold; not even warm. The buffalo chicken pizza had red sauce and mozzarella but no hot sauce, blue cheese or anything resembling a buffalo chicken pizza. It taste like frozen pizzas. Delivery driver was kind. read more
