Excellent care delivered with kindness and compassion. I have been a patient here for at least 5-6 years. I recommend them all the time.

Also, a radiologist no longer looks at the mammogram right away. Instead she let me know that my dr would get the results in 5 - 7 days. I've never had to wait on results at any place before including here, but I guess they've changed things over the last year. Update: I got my results and they said no change year over year. I find that hard to believe, considering I have a golf ball size lump there that definitely wasn't there the year before. I called and asked that they look at it again. They never called me back. I called today to see if a radiologist had looked at it yet. And no, a radiologist still hasn't looked at it but said a mammogram tech looked at it and maybe it's a cyst. So, I would say to absolutely never go here. You can not count on a radiologist looking at your scans. Now, next week I am going to get looked at somewhere else because it's now baseball size. North Star has prevented me from getting proper treatment for over a month now due to their slow results, lack of care, and not having a radiologist look over scans.

Office is nice lots of snacks. Front desk employee was very snarky. Also maybe send someone the…read morecost of the imaging before they drive 40 minutes to get there. Wouldn't have wasted my time.

I had the most painful mammogram procedure in my entire life on 9/28/2016 and I have been getting…read moreregular ones since I turned 40 so this was not my first rodeo. The technician keeps changing every time I go there so it's throw your dice and see if you get a more gentle person or not, see if this one is more knowledgeable or not, compassionate or not, you get the picture. Well, I should have suspected something was amidst when I saw the previous women not making any eye contact as they fled for their cars. I thought it was strange but just wrote it off as the embarrassment of having this study on such a personal body part, but no, no, no was I wrong, very, very, wrong. She, the lone tech was a sadist twisting my breasts further when I told her I hurt and finally when I was on the verge of tears yelling and screaming out she would yell back at me that "we do want a good study, don't we?". She would then twist harder and make me scream at the top of my lungs. I have a high pain tolerance, having stayed at home with 4 foot fractures nursing what I thought was a bad ankle sprain, for example. She continued to torture me all throughout the study. I yelled at her that the previous technicians never did this to me yet did they not get good studies. She retorted that she was the best one, but she seemed so young so I doubted it very much; likely the best at S&M. It was so traumatic that I ended up as one of those women fleeing for my car with my eyes downcast not making any eye contact because of the tears I had from pain. It was more painful than my 19 hour labor after which the nurses outside of my room said I was so quiet that they did not know I was in there. Now that says something when I am screaming in pain. I will NEVER return to this place again and am writing this review now because I just got my reminder to get another study. I got a copy of my mammogram report and it's the same as all the previous years, "good quality", so not worth all that horrific pain, is it? At the least mammography technicians ought to stay longer than a year and being isolated where loud screams cannot be heard by anyone, how dangerous is that?

The woman at the desk told me I had to fill out a form releasing the images to my doctor; but instead it was a form releasing my private information to Gallop for survey purposes. I said I didn't want to sign it and I told her why. She said they had a "waiver" that would prevent my information from being released to Gallop. However, this "waiver" was a nonpublicity form stating that I declined to be contacted directly - it said nothing about preventing my information from being released to Gallop. She insisted I sign them and gave me no other option. Necessary medical care should not be contingent on releasing my information to a survey company. Stay away.

I found a surgeon the next day who was upset that they didn't immediately send me to the ER. Because they did not, the gallbladder died before the surgery a couple of days later which caused further issues. Additionally, I asked four different people about checking in for insurance, etc. I was there for several hours before someone addressed this. As you can guess, I am getting numerous additional bills. I would NOT recommend this place for an emergency.

He had shortness of breath and alot of discomfort. As a scared mother I ran up to the front desk and said my son can't breathe we need help right away. The front desk woman paused, looked right me and rolled her eyes. As if to indicate I was being dramatic. She took her time getting our information down with alot of attitude and called in shortness of breath after a good 10mins. She was joking with the other staff in the background and had no professional or urgency. My son ended up being very sick and needed breathing support for several day afterwards. The carelessness continued when we found out his medications were not called in and he had to wait another day for medication he needed. I'm pissed but my child suffered. He deserved better care.

Solis Mammography - Flower Mound: My Honest Experience…read more I wanted to share what happened at Solis Mammography in Flower Mound. I went in for my first mammogram already feeling nervous, and the front desk wasn't welcoming or inviting. The way they acted toward me and my partner felt uncomfortable, and it made the whole experience more stressful than it needed to be. What confused me most is that when I brought my partner (who uses a wheelchair) for her appointment previously, they were allowing me to go into the exam room with her. But when it was my turn for an exam, they said my partner couldn't come in with me--even though Texas Patient Rights allow a same-sex support person in the exam room. The inconsistency was frustrating, and this is now the second time we've walked out because of unclear policies and unprofessional interactions. The only consistently kind person we encountered at the front was a very young receptionist. Everyone else seemed unsure how to answer basic questions and kept disappearing "to the back" to check on things. Side note: We ended up going to Touchstone Imaging in Flower Mound, and the experience there was phenomenal. The staff was knowledgeable, gentle, and kind. They worked smoothly with the VA, scheduling was fast and efficient, and the entire visit felt respectful and supportive. Sharing in case it helps anyone else navigating the same thing.
