My husband had to visit this location for a RTD urine test for his CDL and is required to have a male practitioner monitor the test. We tried calling to verify this, but there is no option to speak to a person. When we arrived for his appointment, everything is self-serve so we were unable to verify whether a male practitioner was present or not. The female practitioner told us that if they had a direct phone line, it would be ringing all day. They brought him back and after waiting 30 minutes they could not find a male practitioner, so we had to leave and drive to a completely different location that had one. The entire experience was extremely frustrating and over an hour of our time was wasted for something that could have been easily done in 10 minutes. read more

Took my daughter in for blood work this morning and had a terrible experience with the nurse, Kimberly. She mispronounced my daughter's name, and when I politely corrected her, she dismissed it with a "whatever." She then claimed she didn't have the doctor's order, even after I confirmed with the doctor's office that it had been sent. After more back-and-forth, she suddenly "found" it in the system. I understand people can have bad days, but when working with children, basic kindness and professionalism are a must. This interaction left my daughter and me feeling uncomfortable, and I hope the clinic takes steps to address this. read more

I have called this location, quest corporate, quest customer service, and gone up there myself. They all tell me to go somewhere else to get my results. My doctor ordered some blood work. It's always been a "walk-in" test. Now it "requires" an appointment. Okay, I can handle that. Called on Thursday and "first available" was Monday. I checked with my doctor, and was assured the two days before the appointment should assure them getting results. They did, so that's good. Now the bad. I told the doctor's office that they always tell me there is "nothing in the system" when I get to the lab. The doctor's office sent the fax, then called 15 minutes later to ensure the fax arrived. This was on Thursday. I arrived for my Monday appointment. "Nothing in the system." I told them That the doctor sent the order on Thursday and that they had confirmed receipt on Thursday. The tech showed me the computer screen. Nothing there, so... I told her to go and check the faxes. My order was still on the fax machine. FROM THURSDAY MORNING TO MONDAY AFTERNOON!!! This is the FOURTH TIME I've gone through this routine. It shouldn't be this hard. read more

Every Quest I go to is bad. I am not sure why everyone there hates their jobs so much. They are all not friendly, rude. I was simply there to drop off a culture. I asked if she could send it to both my drs, her response was" I don't know how you think I can send one culture to two doctors?" Wow well it's called technology and you send results to two places. And then she went on to tell me I may have to do it again bc I didn't have enough samples ok fine this is all they gave me to do so yes please send this off so we can at least see what's going on and then go from there. I have hidden veins in my arms and it usually takes around 3 or 4 tries for someone to get anything done. Today I had my bloodwork done at quest diagnostics and it took Payton about a minute to get it done. He was very respectful and kind and did a great job with my bloodwork. read more

Laura was amazing! Techs usually have a hard time drawing blood since I have smaller veins, and I usually end up getting poked 2-4 times in the process. And this is just for yearly bloodwork! But she got it the first time, with ease and the process was super quick. First time here. Sat at the top of the waitlist as a walk-in for 30 minutes when it said there was only 1 minute left. They have a horrible waiting system. Every time someone checks in for an appointment they get put at the top, and because they take so long one person after another showed up for an appointment so I got to see myself get bumped from #1 spot to #2 spot repeatedly. Very frustrating to sit and watch. Either they need to get rid of the walk-in system or they need to put appointments in the #2 spot so the walk-in patients don't want to off themselves. The only reason they don't get a 1 star is because they were nice, but will never come here again. read more

Zero stars, IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! My 4 year old needed to have blood drawn and this would be her first time. She was naturally very nervous and upset. I asked the woman how they do blood draws on children, if they use a smaller needle or do a finger stick. The woman rolled her eyes, looked at me and rudely said "we do it JUST-- LIKE-- WE-- DO-- ADULTS" (saying very slow like I am a moron) Needless to say, I grabbed the order from her hands and told her there was no way I would let someone so rude touch my child. I can't even fathom how she would react to a crying child. She needs to be fired and never be allowed to work with people again. This location has been has great service for me. Follow a few simple instructions and you can be in and out in 10 minutes. Print out your Doctor's orders. Take them with you. Do not fax or email them. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! It isn't hard- you don't even have to make an account- you can make, change, cancel as a guest. If they don't have a time you want , just make one and keep checking for the one you want. Other people cancel. I wanted one for this morning as it is a fasting blood draw. Over weekend only Tuesday at 11:20 was available. I woke up, checked, and BOOM! A 9:30 today (Monday) was open along with several other times. I rescheduled , showered , got there , checked in at 9:20 and was out by 9:30. Sherbet was polite, skilled. And we chatted while she worked! I promised her I would leave a great review! read more

I had a fantastic experience this morning. Yapah collected my blood sample and I never felt the prick of the needle. I've had blood drawn many times and this has never happened to me before. She said "I'm putting the needle in." I asked, "When?" and looked down at my arm. It was already in and I had no idea. Great Job Yapah! I love Quest's appointment system too. It may take a week to get the appt time I want (8 am) but it's worth the wait. This morning I was the last of 8 people to check in when the clinic opened. Everyone was taking a long time to check in. I stepped up, typed in my appt code, done in less than 10 seconds. Also, since I had an appt, I jumped to the head of the line. My wait was 2 minutes. Awesome system! read more

This was one of the worst customer service experiences ever. I showed up at this lab for fasting tests in 3 separate days and still have not gotten my lab work done. A call to the phone number never gives a live person, and the recording says you can get an appointment but that fails. The recording and the website both say the hour of 7-8 is reserved for people like me. Doors were locked all 3 days. Today I could wait, but when the lady came at 8, she yelled for "8:00 appointments, 8:15..... 8:30 ..... if y'all are walk ins, you gonna wait a while today! I have been here many times and have had great experiences. Yesterday's Tech was someone I had never seen. I requested a butterfly, and she used a normal needle on my left size with no blood, then 2 sticks on my right and rooted around with the need and no blood before she finally changed to a butterfly. I look like a heroin user now with so many sticks. When she gave me the container for urine, she didn't give me any wipes. She tried to be friendly by saying it was nice to meet me...but it was void of any emotion. She was just running thru her day. read more

This is an incredibly incompetent company. This is the address I was given from my doctor to take a Covid test. Outside they have signs that they don't do Covid testing here. And inside the lady I talked to was unbelievably, unnecessarily rude. She said it's a different suite number and that there are signs out front. But they don't have any signage to direct people to the testing location. I was there with others who were also confused and fed up. I think the employees are the type who enjoy 'scolding' people; it would be easier to put a sign out front. The 'testing center' is a woman sitting alone in a hot room a few doors down, where you do it yourself. She's not set up to receive doctor's orders and I waited 45 minutes in my car, even though the doctor's office had faxed the order at least 3 times since yesterday. One lady had her own copy of the doctor's orders and said she keeps taking days off for this. She eventually left. Quest should not offer this service, it's a waste of time. I'm going to look into a PCP who doesn't use Quest. 777 urgent care has rapid and PCR testing and they're capable of providing advertised services. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This was my second time trying this place. My doctor faxed the lab orders multiple times yet they claim they never got them!!! First time - I saw the doctor fax it and it was the number I was given from quest. Doctor got a confirmation from Quest that they received it but both times quest claimed they didn't get it. If you have a paper copy of your lab request you should be fine. Also, don't expect to get your results soon. First time I used them it took a few weeks! Was taken back immediately by Anastasia and she took my first vile of blood. she was real friendly and personable but still very professional. the room was clean and organize. she definitely had a handle on the task at hand and was experienced. She wanted to make sure i felt safe and comfortable the whole time. She got me the glucose drink which they refrigerate to help with the taste since they are not always pleasant. she told me exactly what time she would be calling me back for 2nd and last blood draw. an hour away at 10:15. Slowly they began to get busier and busier. at 10:09 Anastasia told me she would be taking me back as soon as she finished with her next patient. At 10:17 another lady (named started with S but i didnt catch it) came and called me. she assured me Anastasia was getting held up with another patient and she was going to take care of me so i would not be waiting longer. She was also very friendly and professional. Both ladies did a good job and were quick and in/out and done. Before i was finished Anastasia came into the room with the paperwork to sign and to follow up with me to make sure it all ended well! great follow through! Coordinations for billing services between the insurance agency, Quest, and the Doctor is poor. Quest has for 6 months said that they had resubmitted the bill to the insurance company after the Doctor updated the prognosis to align with the teat that Quest executes. The insurance company has no record that the resubmitted it. So why is this a Quest problem vice my insurance company. Simple - every other action in the last 30 years with my insurance has been seamless to include the other recent use of insurance by the rest of the family. If you Doctor wants to send you to Quest service- tell them to choose another service. If they don't work with another testing service then you might want to consider getting another medical provider. read more

The last time I visited Quest Diagnostics in Flower Mound I had to wait 45 minutes even though there was only 1 other person. Apparently everyone had gone to lunch. I blew it off because I'd never had issues before however, today my doctor ordered blood tests and told me to go straight there so I'd make it before they closed. I arrived at 4:52. 8 minutes before closing time. I didn't figure they would be super excited to have me walk in the door right before they closed but I never imagined their doors would be locked, which they were. There was another person there as well so we both sat there for eight minutes calling and trying to get in. No luck. I think you should stay open until 5pm if your door says you're open until 5 pm. I guess I get to make that 20 minute drive again tomorrow. read more

Edit: the location sent me an email stating that they gave the employee further training and ensured that the employees were up to date on protocol, and they apologized for what occurred. The people here are friendly. I will say that, and because of that it's unfortunate to write the review, but I was given the wrong containers for my 24hour sample which another quest lab caught, as I brought it in to turn in. This caused me to have to push my **expedited** doctors appointment back, because now I have to redo the sample. This is a very big mistake that could have been prevented by double or even triple checking what was given... and considering I have to push my expedited doctors appointment back, an extreme oversight. I also was not given proper directions on handling the sample (which I learned at the other quest lab I turned the sample in to). I would give a zero if I could. I was sent for pre-employment testing. I made an appt., but since they had earlier appointments online- I came in 45 minutes early. No one is there to help you. Just a kiosk to sign into. I asked a technician at the door, if I could be switched to earlier appt. or as a walk-in; as I had to do a work urine test. I was told no, and basically was told if I couldn't hold it-and had to leave .."Do what you gotta do" and she shut the door.I then changed my appt time online while sitting there to an earlier one- but still was never called back. Holli "the manager" told me that they can't change anything on their end, that they can't see schedule changes either.I wasn't the only one with complaints that day. A poor 80 yr old had to wait because he couldn't get the help he needed either, but they fixed the issue on "their" end from what she said to him in WR. I mean I'm glad they helped the older gentleman, but I would have liked the same treatment. When I finally got called back- it was the original appt time I had, so 59 minutes later. This is after MANY walk-ins went in before me. I should have just left and not sat there squirming to pee...as my lab technician was rude and didn't give clear instructions for the test; like she yelled as I was using the restroom through the door- for me not to use paper towels. Why would I??? It was bizarre...my specimen was poured into the collection container in the hallway, she had me sign the paper (using a pen) with urine on my hand, as she said I couldn't wash my hands before using pen? This was AFTER she collected and sealed my specimen folks...she then had me dump my urine afterwards into toilet, then yelled because I flushed the toilet prior to me washing my hands. Well, maybe if she gave instructions for AFTER my specimen was collected- that would have been helpful. Not sure what DOT training video she watched...but this was not it and I see now why they have such bad reviews. I almost requested a different lab to go too- as Yelp is always pretty much correct with reviews. I wish I would have gone elsewhere. As the 80 yr old man correctly said- you're just a number here. Btw- don't bother calling Quest; they don't call back or care to change this horrible Kiosk set-up. She knew I could hear her, because I was standing on the other side of the counter. We have been to this office for years, and they have always been so friendly. Avoid. Waiting room packed, hot, no fresh air, people coughing. There isn't anyone in the lobby to assist or ask questions, just 2 kiosks to enter your info. If you don't have an appointment, good luck, you'll be waiting forever. They DO NOT alert you via text if you are a walk-in, so you have to remain in the stuffy waiting room. If you have a question you have to wait until some of the staff opens the door to call a patient, then quickly try to ask your question. The staff is some of the rudest I've encountered. In the 30 min I waited, the staff angered the patients more than helped with multiple patients raising their voices. The staff I saw just didn't want to be bothered and every answer was summed up by "look at the TV and wait for your name to be called!"
