My doctor ordered some blood work. It's always been a "walk-in" test. Now it "requires" an appointment. Okay, I can handle that. Called on Thursday and "first available" was Monday. I checked with my doctor, and was assured the two days before the appointment should assure them getting results. They did, so that's good. Now the bad. I told the doctor's office that they always tell me there is "nothing in the system" when I get to the lab. The doctor's office sent the fax, then called 15 minutes later to ensure the fax arrived. This was on Thursday. I arrived for my Monday appointment. "Nothing in the system." I told them That the doctor sent the order on Thursday and that they had confirmed receipt on Thursday. The tech showed me the computer screen. Nothing there, so... I told her to go and check the faxes. My order was still on the fax machine. FROM THURSDAY MORNING TO MONDAY AFTERNOON!!! This is the FOURTH TIME I've gone through this routine. It shouldn't be this hard. read more

Worst possible service. Showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment at 1:00pm, waited 45 minutes watching people with appointments for 1:30 be called in before me. Was then told that only one person on staff can service my appointment but is servicing later appointments and is out on lunch. Highly inefficient, incosiderate, and disorganized scheduling. read more

Seems typical at this location, given the reviews. I made a 12:40 appointment, this location because other facilities had openings 30 min later and I am fasting. I arrived a minute early, and there are still 29 customers ahead of me, with MANY appointments for those waiting going back 30 min. They should not schedule more than they can process, particularly when people are fasting. 5-10 min wait, I get. But 35-45+ ?! read more

This place is an absolute disaster. My doctor ordered lab work that needed to be done within the next 48 hours. However, the lab work must be fasting and there are no appointments available for the next week before 1 PM. No big deal, I've done walk-in appointments at quest before I knew I'd have to wait a bit. I walk in, and the waiting room is completely full with nowhere to sit. There are 12 people ahead of me on the waitlist. I sit there for 20 minutes and only four people are called back, so I see the writing on the wall and finally leave. They also have a kiosk, check-in, with no unavailable to help, and they do not answer their phones. They are obviously terribly understaffed, and I can't believe they are still in business. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

Never on time or even close to being on time for scheduled appointments. As usual I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment, checked in 10 minutes before my appointment as requested. Appointment time comes and goes, 45 minutes later still waiting. No front desk/person to talk to for an estimated time. Nope, just stuck in a waiting room with zero information on how far behind they are or how many people are in front of you so you at least have an idea of when you might actually get your labs done. After 45 minutes I gave up and left since some of us actually have to be on time for our jobs read more

I was 10 min early for my appointment at 1:30 & they must have had 20 people in the waiting room. There was not a chair to be had in the waiting room. I was shocked! My husband also went to get his labs done a few weeks before & it was the same situation. He waited for a few hours before he was seen by anyone. I don't have the time, or the patience for that, so I left immediately. This is 1 very poorly managed office, & they overbook appointments daily. read more

Total disregard for long waits despite appointments. Made an appointment for 12 noon. As of 1240 still waiting with 3 patients ahead of me. Waiting room is crowded with many complaining people. Many have fasted and are complaining. No one has offered an explanation, much less an apology read more

My husband had to visit this location for a RTD urine test for his CDL and is required to have a male practitioner monitor the test. We tried calling to verify this, but there is no option to speak to a person. When we arrived for his appointment, everything is self-serve so we were unable to verify whether a male practitioner was present or not. The female practitioner told us that if they had a direct phone line, it would be ringing all day. They brought him back and after waiting 30 minutes they could not find a male practitioner, so we had to leave and drive to a completely different location that had one. The entire experience was extremely frustrating and over an hour of our time was wasted for something that could have been easily done in 10 minutes. read more

Staffing issues, customer service is lacking. Allowed a long waitlist to start 16+ only to dismiss everyone and tell them to schedule appointments. read more

Today was the first day open while roads were still icy. Kimberly was by herself working steadily thru appts and walk-ins with a smile on her face and strong communication. She is amazing. I hope Quest thanks her as she makes the experience of all things bodily fluid and testing smooth and positive. Thank you Kimberly! read more

Claim to have 1 lab tech for the whole place. Refuses walk-ins due to backup. Appointments not available for a week or more.

I have the world's worst veins. Payton was assigned to draw my blood. I was nervous, but that was completely unnecessary. He had the skills to distract me with patter while he painlessly found a viable vein and started drawing blood. He's that good! Highly recommended! read more

Got to appointment on time, no one waiting. Checked in waited 10 minutes, nothing. Seriously, walk-in came in, registered at the kiosk. We both sat there for another 5 minutes, nothing. Lady then came out and, I'm not kidding, called her back. I asked why I haven't been called back since I had been there since noon. Her response was she knew I was here, and she "would get to me"... read more

Took my daughter in for blood work this morning and had a terrible experience with the nurse, Kimberly. She mispronounced my daughter's name, and when I politely corrected her, she dismissed it with a "whatever." She then claimed she didn't have the doctor's order, even after I confirmed with the doctor's office that it had been sent. After more back-and-forth, she suddenly "found" it in the system. I understand people can have bad days, but when working with children, basic kindness and professionalism are a must. This interaction left my daughter and me feeling uncomfortable, and I hope the clinic takes steps to address this. read more

There aren't enough words to describe how measurably bad this place is. Long waits, dirty location, kiosks unmonitored with elderly confused and suffering at them, crowded small lobby and no one to help. The phlebotomist was excellent. Nice and friendly. Bright spot I guess. read more

I've always had a horrible experience here. I am chronically ill, and have to get my blood drawn a lot. I have been waiting for my results for a month. I have called this location, quest corporate, quest customer service, and gone up there myself. They all tell me to go somewhere else to get my results. I still haven't gotten my results, and feel extremely sick. I hate this place, and wish they actually cared. read more

Marie was excellent with attending to my husband. Due to my husband's small veins it's always difficult to draw blood. Marie was patient and recommended for him to lay down and drew from his hand. She was sweet & understanding. It didn't feel rushed. PS. We were walk-ins on a Saturday & waited less than 5min. read more

Every Quest I go to is bad. I am not sure why everyone there hates their jobs so much. They are all not friendly, rude. I was simply there to drop off a culture. I asked if she could send it to both my drs, her response was" I don't know how you think I can send one culture to two doctors?" Wow well it's called technology and you send results to two places. And then she went on to tell me I may have to do it again bc I didn't have enough samples ok fine this is all they gave me to do so yes please send this off so we can at least see what's going on and then go from there. And then she had the audacity to call me rude. Listen you were rude from the minute you pulled me back from the waiting room. read more

Laura was amazing! Techs usually have a hard time drawing blood since I have smaller veins, and I usually end up getting poked 2-4 times in the process. And this is just for yearly bloodwork! But she got it the first time, with ease and the process was super quick. She even had some jokes :) She did a fabulous job and while bloodwork is never fun with her expertise and bed side manner she made it the best experience it could be Highly recommend Laura! read more

Quest at 4001 Long Prairie definitely not. Impossible to get online appointment. Waiting room full and NEVER ANYONE TO HELP! Went to Quest 745 Cross Timbers and WAS PERSONALLY HELPED IN WAITING AREA. NURSE KEETA WAS A SAINT. Got right in. So friendly. Perfect after an impossible try at their automated call in to make appointment. SUCH A BLOODY LONG MESSAGE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE! Found a real person at a real phone number to help me. Was a saint like KEETA!! In and out in 10 minutes. NO WAY AT 4001 Long Prairie. I would have found another company to take my blood had I not stumbled into QUEEN KEETA! Totally different offices. Yo Quest..Time to FIX 4001 Long Prairie and your laughable automated systems. Both phone AND OFFICE AT 4001! read more

I have hidden veins in my arms and it usually takes around 3 or 4 tries for someone to get anything done. Today I had my bloodwork done at quest diagnostics and it took Payton about a minute to get it done. He was very respectful and kind and did a great job with my bloodwork. read more

First time here. Sat at the top of the waitlist as a walk-in for 30 minutes when it said there was only 1 minute left. They have a horrible waiting system. Every time someone checks in for an appointment they get put at the top, and because they take so long one person after another showed up for an appointment so I got to see myself get bumped from #1 spot to #2 spot repeatedly. Very frustrating to sit and watch. Either they need to get rid of the walk-in system or they need to put appointments in the #2 spot so the walk-in patients don't want to off themselves. The only reason they don't get a 1 star is because they were nice, but will never come here again. read more

Staff is rude, have an attitude and in a hurry to help people that are having difficulty with the kiosk, I felt I was an inconvenience for them. Not a job they should be with crappy attitude. read more

Rude! Worst attitude ever! I left without a test due to the rudeness! I have NEVER been treated like this for a service I'm paying for!

Zero stars, IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! My 4 year old needed to have blood drawn and this would be her first time. She was naturally very nervous and upset. I asked the woman how they do blood draws on children, if they use a smaller needle or do a finger stick. The woman rolled her eyes, looked at me and rudely said "we do it JUST-- LIKE-- WE-- DO-- ADULTS" (saying very slow like I am a moron) Needless to say, I grabbed the order from her hands and told her there was no way I would let someone so rude touch my child. I can't even fathom how she would react to a crying child. She needs to be fired and never be allowed to work with people again. Now I am looking into how to file a complaint with the company itself. read more

The lady who drew my blood was extremely nice. However the manager at this location was extremely rude and spoke to people in the most condescending manner. Definitely will not be back to this location. read more

I had a fantastic experience this morning. Yapah collected my blood sample and I never felt the prick of the needle. I've had blood drawn many times and this has never happened to me before. She said "I'm putting the needle in." I asked, "When?" and looked down at my arm. It was already in and I had no idea. Great Job Yapah! I love Quest's appointment system too. It may take a week to get the appt time I want (8 am) but it's worth the wait. This morning I was the last of 8 people to check in when the clinic opened. Everyone was taking a long time to check in. I stepped up, typed in my appt code, done in less than 10 seconds. Also, since I had an appt, I jumped to the head of the line. My wait was 2 minutes. Awesome system! read more

This location has been has great service for me. Follow a few simple instructions and you can be in and out in 10 minutes. Print out your Doctor's orders. Take them with you. Do not fax or email them. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! It isn't hard- you don't even have to make an account- you can make, change, cancel as a guest. If they don't have a time you want , just make one and keep checking for the one you want. Other people cancel. I wanted one for this morning as it is a fasting blood draw. Over weekend only Tuesday at 11:20 was available. I woke up, checked, and BOOM! A 9:30 today (Monday) was open along with several other times. I rescheduled , showered , got there , checked in at 9:20 and was out by 9:30. Sherbet was polite, skilled. And we chatted while she worked! I promised her I would leave a great review! read more

This was one of the worst customer service experiences ever. I showed up at this lab for fasting tests in 3 separate days and still have not gotten my lab work done. A call to the phone number never gives a live person, and the recording says you can get an appointment but that fails. The recording and the website both say the hour of 7-8 is reserved for people like me. Doors were locked all 3 days. Today I could wait, but when the lady came at 8, she yelled for "8:00 appointments, 8:15..... 8:30 ..... if y'all are walk ins, you gonna wait a while today! With nowhere to sit, only 5 people were allowed in at any given time. I understand social distancing, but I do not understand the complete lack of customer service. read more

All I'm gonna say is this is the most uncomfortable waiting room I have ever been in. It is about 80 degrees in here.

The person that was taking care of me was rude and wasn't willing to help when I needed a note printed. Went to another Quest down the street and they happily helped. DO NOT go here. Go to the Tom Thumb read more

DISGUSTING SERVICE. SAVE YOUR TROUBLE AND DRIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE. Two African American women helping us one yelled at an elderly woman in front of us and the other denied help to my grandmother. Rushes you through and puts everyone's business out and want nothing to do with patients. Worst service ever. Don't come here. Wish someone told me before I drove to this DUMP! read more

I have been here many times and have had great experiences. Yesterday's Tech was someone I had never seen. I requested a butterfly, and she used a normal needle on my left size with no blood, then 2 sticks on my right and rooted around with the need and no blood before she finally changed to a butterfly. I look like a heroin user now with so many sticks. When she gave me the container for urine, she didn't give me any wipes. She tried to be friendly by saying it was nice to meet me...but it was void of any emotion. She was just running thru her day. read more

This is an incredibly incompetent company. This is the address I was given from my doctor to take a Covid test. Outside they have signs that they don't do Covid testing here. And inside the lady I talked to was unbelievably, unnecessarily rude. She said it's a different suite number and that there are signs out front. But they don't have any signage to direct people to the testing location. I was there with others who were also confused and fed up. I think the employees are the type who enjoy 'scolding' people; it would be easier to put a sign out front. The 'testing center' is a woman sitting alone in a hot room a few doors down, where you do it yourself. She's not set up to receive doctor's orders and I waited 45 minutes in my car, even though the doctor's office had faxed the order at least 3 times since yesterday. One lady had her own copy of the doctor's orders and said she keeps taking days off for this. She eventually left. Quest should not offer this service, it's a waste of time. I'm going to look into a PCP who doesn't use Quest. 777 urgent care has rapid and PCR testing and they're capable of providing advertised services. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This was my second time trying this place. My doctor faxed the lab orders multiple times yet they claim they never got them!!! First time - I saw the doctor fax it and it was the number I was given from quest. Doctor got a confirmation from Quest that they received it but both times quest claimed they didn't get it. If you have a paper copy of your lab request you should be fine. Also, don't expect to get your results soon. First time I used them it took a few weeks! I thought i'd give them a second chance but it was a total waste of time. read more

still the best one in my opinion. Had to go in for pregnancy glucose test. Walked in about 8:50am and they were not busy at all. Was taken back immediately by Anastasia and she took my first vile of blood. she was real friendly and personable but still very professional. the room was clean and organize. she definitely had a handle on the task at hand and was experienced. She wanted to make sure i felt safe and comfortable the whole time. She got me the glucose drink which they refrigerate to help with the taste since they are not always pleasant. she told me exactly what time she would be calling me back for 2nd and last blood draw. an hour away at 10:15. Slowly they began to get busier and busier. at 10:09 Anastasia told me she would be taking me back as soon as she finished with her next patient. At 10:17 another lady (named started with S but i didnt catch it) came and called me. she assured me Anastasia was getting held up with another patient and she was going to take care of me so i would not be waiting longer. She was also very friendly and professional. Both ladies did a good job and were quick and in/out and done. Before i was finished Anastasia came into the room with the paperwork to sign and to follow up with me to make sure it all ended well! great follow through! Everyone thanked me for coming in and wished me and the baby well! lobby was clean and modern. you can tell they run a tight ship there. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Flowermound, Texas

Coordinations for billing services between the insurance agency, Quest, and the Doctor is poor. Quest has for 6 months said that they had resubmitted the bill to the insurance company after the Doctor updated the prognosis to align with the teat that Quest executes. The insurance company has no record that the resubmitted it. So why is this a Quest problem vice my insurance company. Simple - every other action in the last 30 years with my insurance has been seamless to include the other recent use of insurance by the rest of the family. If you Doctor wants to send you to Quest service- tell them to choose another service. If they don't work with another testing service then you might want to consider getting another medical provider. read more

The staff was helpful, courteous and efficient. My nurse ,Yolanda, was absolutely Fantastic. I wish I could give more stars.

Was better than the Denton location. Much more comfortable waiting room and seemed a bit more organized. They actually could find my orders that were sent in by my Doctor. Denton didn't have a clue. read more

The last time I visited Quest Diagnostics in Flower Mound I had to wait 45 minutes even though there was only 1 other person. Apparently everyone had gone to lunch. I blew it off because I'd never had issues before however, today my doctor ordered blood tests and told me to go straight there so I'd make it before they closed. I arrived at 4:52. 8 minutes before closing time. I didn't figure they would be super excited to have me walk in the door right before they closed but I never imagined their doors would be locked, which they were. There was another person there as well so we both sat there for eight minutes calling and trying to get in. No luck. I think you should stay open until 5pm if your door says you're open until 5 pm. I guess I get to make that 20 minute drive again tomorrow. read more
