Fried Pickles came cold, Pizza tasted only of pasta sauce, and the quesadilla tasted like cardboard. Would not recommend

Ordered fried pickles there were like 8 in the takeout container, and the quesadilla was super soggy and leaked oil.

A lovely greeting on entrance. My wife and I used to work at an iconic eatery in phila called Taylor's country store and both of us looked at each other and said we get the same vibes. The decorations were just what you'd hope for in an eclectic little restaurant. Located on the edge of the villas maybe 15 mins from wildwood and cape May if you're visiting down the beach or shore don't sleep on this place. Now for the food we were looking for lunch we have our go to spots but wanted to change it up and I'm so glad my wife chose TBD. Has a great menu with something for everyone. I got a hot roast beef because it's one of my favorites. Side of fries hand cut. First the sandwich was everything I had hoped for I go a couple Roast beef sand places but this has shot to the top. Gravy on the side is how it came and it was just what the sand was meant for ciabatta roll soaked it up perfectly, no prob I'm not a fan of the disintegrating gravy sand I like to control the gravy. Roast beef was thick but not out of control thick, didn't need sharks teeth to bite through it. And not any gristle which definitely mattersHorseradish on the side a little bite not your make your nose run hot but hot enough. Hand cut fries delicious crispy hot and a perfect pairing to dip in the gravy. The pickle was exactly how you want a deli pickle to be crunchy fresh and sharp flavored w real dill I will say it again perfect . My wife had the burger it was huge tasty I know because I had half the right amount of everything. She chose the fresh homemade chips they were marvelous too I know because I grudgingly gave up a few fries to have some chips. It was big enough she said she would be skipping dinner. Anyway it's the kind of place you leave saying I can't wait to go back and try the other choices because you know they will all be made with culinary care and taste great. Don't step nod or miss this place. Being on weight watchers I know I'm gonna regret finding it, but you shouldn't it's on rt 47 the sign w the two black dogs sorry no pics of the food but I was hungry and scarfed it down before thinking

The food took forever - almost 50 minutes from when the appetizer was finished and the 3 sandwiches arrived. The server came over twice to tell us "it's almost ready" The food was burnt - dry - overall not great. No one in our group enjoyed it.

So naturally, I got the Brisket Platter which came with two sides. I was a little disappointed that they were out of baked beans but no big deal. The Brisket along with the two sides was very satisfying. Very good amounts of food and such a tender brisket! Interestingly, this place serves breakfast all day long. So my friend ordered the French Toast for dinner. I tried some and it was very well made! I really liked the syrup and the vanilla icing that came with it. Everything here was on point. The food, service, portions, and pricing. I have absolutely no complaints and wholeheartedly recommend Grillin N Chillin

The brisket was AMAZING!!!! The depth of flavor from the smokiness or the tender brisket to the bbq sauce on top - it was soooo good! The pulled pork was lean (my picky eating daughter ate it all)!! The chicken in the Soprano was super crispy and flavorful. The hot honey chicken was hot, but great! Next time, we'd ask for the sauce on the side so we could take the spice, but that's the only thing we'd change. So glad to have a place like this in north cape May! Highly recommend giving this place a go!!!!!

We walked down from the house which was only about a block and were seated right away. Ooo it was karaoke night, and they were actually pretty good singers. I'm used to the drunken nights in Philly bars and hearing people do karaoke who can barely carry a tune. It was quite entertaining. My party of 5 were served quickly and had everything we needed, refills, napkins, etc. ordered the Turkey club it was ok, with fries- fries were great! Daughter got chicken fingers and fries- she loved them! Sister ordered the pizza- yum! So good! Way better than whatever they served us last time. Glad I gave it another try.

The drinks from the bar were not very tasty and I sent my Orange creamsicle back for a mango margarita which was better. The restaurant was packed with families and a Phillies baseball game played in the background alone with really great music from the 80s. Locals really seemed to love the place.

I finally got a reservation to the Haunted Dining Experience after hearing about it for many years…read more We loved the decorations and was pleasantly surprised to find the entire dining room was in theme as well. We had some time to kill while waiting for our table so we went through the dining room to check out the decorations. We loved that the whole room was lit using black lights and enjoyed the small animatronics. After checking out the decorations, we still had quite a while to go before our table was ready. I think it might've been 45 minutes after our set reservation time? Aside from that, the rest of the night went without a hitch. For dinner, we got chicken francese and flounder francese. Both were really delicious and cooked perfectly. There was a generous serving of both the main dish as well as the pasta and other sides. I also ordered an Apple Pie martini and loved it. The rim was coated in sugar instead of salt which I thought was neat. It really did taste like apple cider. When asking for the dessert menu, we were pleasantly surprised when our server came out with a plate of desserts. She explained what each one was and I liked being able to see exactly what we were getting. They could use a little more variety in the dessert department though, I don't recall seeing or hearing anything other than cakes. We did end up ultimately choosing the white and dark chocolate cake which was the perfect amount of sweet. We were very pleased with our dinner and the Halloween experience. The Haunted Dining experience was fun, but I honestly wouldn't say it's a "must do". I'll definitely be back when they open for the next season, they seem to have some interesting other decor that I couldn't see well under the black lighting. The food is definitely enough of a draw to return as well.

I also got a watermelon sangria that they make with fresh watermelon and it was sooo good! My go to is usually the crab imperial stuffed shrimp and I paired it with their Mac and cheese and zucchini. All of it was delicious! I need to especially point out that their Mac and cheese is amazing, not every place gets Mac and cheese right, but Menz has it down for sure! I'm also a sucker for the blueberry muffins that come in the bread basket. The service is always great, you can tell they all work together to help each other. The atmosphere is definitely unique and a little haunted mansion type vibes in some parts but I enjoy eating at places that are different and not just one note. Would love to come back when they do their Halloween stuff! Looking forward to my next meal here.

(I guess they are a thing in New Jersey... or maybe just in that area?) I got an orange one. It was fabulous!! So dang delicious. I asked how it was made and the waitress said that they use fresh squeezed OJ and house made triple sec. I'm certain that made the difference! It was also made with Kettle One Orange vodka. Against my better judgement, I got a second cocktail, and not the same thing. *so sad* I got a blueberry cosmo. It was fine but it wasn't amazing like the Orange Crush. My husband got a steak salad. There was legit a WHOLE steak on there! He enjoyed it a lot. I had a couple of bites and agree it was really good. I got the pulled pork sandwich, that was also tasty. The homemade potato chips were yummy too. The next visit, we took our son around brunch time. We all decided on breakfast that visit. I got another Orange Crush *yum*. We all enjoyed our breakfast. The potatoes that came with my breakfast sandwich were so flavorful! I highly recommend eating here.
