When I called, staff were super rude, immediately told me that if I had a problem, they wouldn't sell to me. I have a love/hate relationship with this company. On the one hand, they have a lot of parts that I just can't get locally anywhere else. On the other hand, many parts I've purchased from them are made with inferior material or just made completely incorrectly and therefor are completely useless and a waste of my money. I'll give you one example, the metal they used for their 36hp fuel pump rebuild kit components is 100% garbage. It stretches and wears over a few months use and gets to the point were your fuel pump is completely unusable. Also the pin in the kit comes with two c-clips, but don't even think about trying to use both clips, because they made the pin too short. When calling for an explanation or help, I was shocked with attitude I got from the customer service person. No help, explanation, or offer to replace faulty parts whatsoever. Just "Yeah, we don't even sell a rebuild kit anymore". read more

BEAWARE!!! Very misleading on the catalog and the owner Tony Moore doesn't care. I bought (2) headlight assemblies from them for my 66 BUS and on the catalog it breaks down all the parts you will get with it. You can order each part of the headlight assembly individually or the catalog shows on page 86 that you can order it all together which is number 4 on the page (part# 211941037C). So that's what I did because I needed it all. It came all put together with the parts shown on the catalog but it was missing the headlight sealed beam which was shown to come with it as well. After I noticed it was missing I called WolfsBurg West customer service line to bring it to their attention and I guess I talked to the owner Tony Moore. I thought it was weird that the owner would be answering the custom service calls when I'm sure he has employee so I'm not sure if it was really him. He basically told me that the part isn't included and that they can't help me out. He looked at the catalog while on the phone and couldn't justify to why the catalog shows that. You can see for yourself on page 86 of the catalog that it's false advertisement and misleading. I'm restoring a Bus and my family has to 2 other VW's and now after this we won't be using them ever again. read more

I live in the Kingdom and wish to buy some parts for my cabriolet beetle from Wolfsburg West. I ordered the parts on line and went to their international shipping page to fill in the necessary details for the international shipping costs to be calculated. On trying to fill in the box for zip/post code - for some reason unknown to me it will not allow me to fill in all the letters and numbers in my post code. I have emailed Wolfsburg West to explain my dilema about their box not accepting my post code - on several occasions - but have never received a reply from them ever. Although I want to spend quite a substancial amount on parts, they dont seem to to care enough to even both to reply to me. Although their parts may be of a good quality they don't seem to want to sell them internationally. read more
