Ken is a great! I'm building a 67 dune buggy and Ken has been able to guide me and give me the best advice on parts and integrating older units into newer units. he is the man and I call him all the time, and even though I have probably made him crazy with all my questions and phone calls he is still polite and a great resource! Thanks Ken for all your help. -Nicco read more

Not Recommended; at least for Internet retail sales. I ordered a small nylon flag for my whip antenna for $7.50. They added a handling charge of $5.00 and I thought, "Well maybe this isn't such a good deal, but I need it anyway". Later, they added $8.95 in freight charges for the same little flag. I called customer service and told them that I thought we had a misunderstanding; but customer service at Pacific Customs was dead set on their extra $8.95! I normally expect to pay shipping charges on internet orders, but I thought this was a promotion for free shipping. Otherwise, I would have never bought it. Additionally, the customer service was poor. Pacific Customs seemed to be more like high school senior project than a professional operation. The person that took my call sounded as if he asked his parents about my concerns, rather than being empowered solve the problem. I heard them say they didn't have the right machine to calculate freight charges on the internet. $7.50 for the flag and $13.95 in extra charges! My bottom line went from $12.50 to $21.45. Not such a great deal after all. read more

I've made a couple of fairly expensive purchases from these folks and the service has been great. I was also quite pleased that when price shopping, they were the best. And lest I forget, the shipping was very quick as well. I'm all around very pleased with doing business with Pacific Customs Unlimited. read more

Don't come here! They buy their parts from car craft up the street and then up-charge them, not to mention their customer service is terrible. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

Stopped by needing some parts for a beetle and they were nice enough to help out with advice. Never felt rushed and were plenty friendly. Recently needed some seat covers and they had a great price with free shipping so I thought I would give them a shot. I only ordered one at first as I was not sure how they would fit. The seat cover came incredibly well packaged the day after I had ordered it. They even put cardboard where I would be cutting the tape to open the box to protect the seat cover. It fit even better than I could have hoped so I ordered another. Once again it arrived the next day. This time the packaging was not as good. They had placed straps around the cover to make it more compact. I was worried at first because the straps left marks on the covers. The marks seam to have worked themselves out but I think the straps are a bad idea. read more

Pacific customs has alot of product and I have purchased 1000's of dollars worth of parts from them and when i had a urethane steering bushing fail right after i installed it.I took the part back to them and explained what happened and imagine my surprise when they would not even stand behind there product. The sales person told me yeah we have alot of those fall apart,so did you want to buy a new one? Well hope they like losing a customer over a 10 dollar part cause there customer service is horrible. read more

Very bad customer service, Chris, the manager was very rude. Terrible place to get parts from.

I went to here once and it will definitely be my last. I ordered a part and asked if I could do an in-store pick up, I got an email back that said if I didn't pick it up the next day at 2pm they would ship it out first thing the next morning. I waited all week for the part, finally about a week later I called them, got a rude person on the phone and they said they've been waiting for me to come and pick it up. I went and got it and lo and behold....they gave me the wrong part read more

I placed on order on 5pm, got free shipping and received it less then 24 hours later! This place is awesome, everything I ordered was exactly what I expected and in great condition. read more

Went in to get the parts I wanted and the guy behind the counter knew his stuff about the products he sold and had good advice. I like that I can get to the store by car if I needed the part that day. I just did an online order so I'll see how that end of it goes. read more

There coustomer service sucks prices are higher than dans or kartec will not price match going to return gift certificate at a loss just to get away from them read more

Beware, this place is a total rip off, the owner will lie with a straight face, telling you he had to pay more because the company was charging him more, and that was his price, that other companies are making them anymore. Went out on Saturday to pick up 30 Dzues fasteners, I've been in the off-road industry for 35 years, bought parts from every vendor, I know people by name. My point is, I told him that hoping he would understand I'm not as every day consumer, I came from La Habra about 18 miles away. He told me that each fastener was $2.90, this to me was way out of line, yet I needed the parts and everybody else was closed. He told me the story so I believed him. What I found out later was, no one was charging more than a $1.50, McKenzies off-road Kartek off-road, Moore parts. I drove back out there and took him to fasteners and asked for my money back which I got, I told him to his face, I thought he was a crook and he is one of the reasons that people are leaving the sport, gouging from people like him; that he should be ashamed, I found them on the internet for 0.99 cents ! AYFKM? So be very aware, he doesn't care about you, I am a guy that's just trying to stay in the sport, he is driving a brand new Ford 85 k dollar truck sucking off unexpected enthusiasts like me and you! Never again read more

Ken is amazing, helped me with great advice on building my baja. The other counter guys are good too but Ken is the best! Prices seemed really reasonable for the quality of parts I needed. I pass to other vw shops just to get here because of the horrible (I'm really a pretty easy going kind of guy)service I've gotten at those places. If they didnt have a part in stock they were quick to let me know when I could get it. If you're looking for a great experience drop in and be prepared for a great time. read more

They know what they're doing and have the inventory to save you when you're stuck, but you will pay top dollar

They have a large amount of inventory in stock. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful and down to earth. I had to exchange some rod ends and lost the original packaging and they let me exchange it with no problem. Prices seem comparable to online shops on offload VW stuff. My only negative is parking can be difficult if you drive a large truck because their dedicated lot is small and the street is often full. read more

Ken was fantastic. He took the time to discuss starters and paddle tires for out rotary sand rails. Gave us his number to call if we have any questions. The other staff (didn't catch their names) were also very courteous and helpful. We will be ordering additional sand rail parts from Pacific Customs. read more

I recommend this place to anyone who needs rail or street car parts. Don't listen to any of the negative info listed on this page since it's all bologna. I have been to many other part stores and received horrible service while the guy behind the parts counter belittles you for not knowing the mundane info for a part. These guys bend over backward to help out a customer and I have had nothing but a good experience thus far. It doesn't matter your product knowledge or skill level. They definitely step up and provide the best customer service. (**Regarding another dumb comment below: If a product fails on your rig, you can't blame them, because they didn't manufacture that product! It was your choice to put that Latest Rage part on your car knowing that it is junk. These guys sell everything for sand cars, whether is it is low or high end. Do your homework before you buy.) read more
