Had them replace my converter and they put the wrong converter in and took it to the referree they told me the same thing. Brought the converter back to Reliable in which they were going to refund me but not for labor. They tried telling me where I got it smog and the referree were WRONG and they were right. They were proven wrong by the Referree but still won't reimburse me for labor for there mistake read more

Nick and his team are great! I suddenly had my car start rumbling and shaking during acceleration and when coming to a stop. Really accommodating in coordinating me dropping the car off before they opened and leaving the keys in their mail drop so I could still get to work on time and they figured it out and fixed it within the same day. Very friendly and explained what the problem was. I had just had the car worked on at another shop and they even took the time to make sure the other shop actually did what they said they did. We have two teenagers and four cars. Phat and Nick at Reliable Auto Care have worked on three of them ~ everything from brake jobs to replacing a cracked manifold cover. The first time I tried them, their service was so friendly, professional, and candid regarding costs or potential problems that I decided to use them again. I have not regretted this decision. They once turned down an engine rebuild job because they knew they would lose me as a customer if I paid so much for something that wouldn't turn out right and they advised me that it wasn't worth repairing. I agree with the other reviewers that these guys have integrity and they know what they're doing. As a repeat customer, the perks have been wonderful. $90 to change an alternator belt?!?! The guys are crazy... A lot of mechanics assume that because you're takin your car to them, that you have no clue about mechanics. I drive out to Pomona to buy a car. I took car to Reliable to check it out (inspect) before i purchased. Within 5 minutes he found the frame had major damage. I didn't need the inspection to continue at that point, so he gave me a discount off the already reasonable price. Very honest and fair. If i lived closer, I would use them regularly. read more

I brought a 2012 Ford Focus in here to get checked before buying it. The mechanic was a Japanese guy who was very thorough and ended up finding that the car had serious engine issues, had been in an accident, and had some other issues that I never would have seen. After saving me thousands of dollars and hassle, he told me that I only needed to pay the $20 fee if I felt like the service was worth it! Hell yes it was worth it. What a great shop. Hey what up, this is my story with reliable . I have a 2000 gmc sierra I bought the truck five years ago the truck it self has not given me any trouble until I went to change my spark plugs and spark plug wires all went fine except for the last one in the very back corner of the passenger side not to sure how this happen but the hex head nut came right off the spark plug also the person that Installed the spark plugs before me apprently installed that one crooked the cross threaded the head now I was ready to replace the head but nick said to give them a shot at fixing it ......... I was looking at 1300. 00 for the labor and new head etc....... home boy got it out saved the threads put a spark plug in about 8 hours of work and only charged me $350.00 I read some of there bad reviews but fuck it I had a great experience with them and even Gave them a tip for some lunch very happy truck runs great and they got a forever customer thanks nick and I cant remember the other mechanics name but thanks true mechanics check out my profile pic its the spark plug ;) read more

i went to check my brakes to the reliable auto care and the guy name nick told me that I need to replace brakes, front calipers and from brakes rotores. clean and adjust the rear brakes and he also recommend that you need an alignment and it is gonna cost me 850 dollar + tax, then i asked the guy the put this back together and let me get the second opinion then i went to a different shop in Ontario and checked my break and they said i just need a front break and clean a just a rear break. the guy said break rotors and calipers are good and they charged me 139. dollars. let me put this the reliable auto care have no alignment machine and they were trying to 850 dollar which i paid only 139 only. and he tried to rip me off. make sure, do not you ever take your car at reliable auto centre other wise you have to pay-------------. read more
