We have previously gone to the Ontario location on Central and had beyond terrible service! However Richard at this Montclair location has been absolutely awesome. Had our oil change on our Suburban done in an hour. He was kind and honest! We loved the service so much that we left our other vehicle, Silverado, when picking up our Suburban. This will be our go to going forward and the price is great! read more

Company stated they were given task to rebuild Merceds engine. FYI I was stranded on the 10 freeway after there services. read more

Unfortunately I don't like to give any business a bad review. However based on my experience, poor service , high cost and low quality of work done. my car was not fixed properly and sadly this business was oblivious to the obvious issue and fail to fix it instead I was left with a faulty vehicle. I will no longer be coming back or recommend anyone . At your own risk going here beware ! read more

Been bringing our cars here for over 8 years. Always fair price and good service. Oil changes, a/c work, transmission service. All of our family's cars. read more

This place sabotages cars to require more work, or they are completely incompetent. Had a car with no users but not even 30 miles later the check engine light came on read more

This place was absolutely amazing, my car's turbo had unfortunately failed and they did a great job with fair pricing and communication throughout the process. All the staff were so sweet and transparent about the service my car needed done asap and what I could wait on. Definitely will be coming back for any future issues! read more

The service at this location is top notch! First of all they provide great quality and value to us. big family with lots of cars. Been taking them here for years. Great service. Great prices. All good

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation and ac repair. I had to leave it there for a couple of days for them to get the part and then complete the repairs. When I picked my vehicle up, my amazon alexa bluetooth device was missing. I asked them if they had removed it to do the work or knew where it was and they said they did not and were sure that none of their guys would have taken it. I can't know for sure if it was an employee of the shop or if it was stolen while sitting out in their lot for a couple of days while they waited for the part, but there was no forced entry, so they must not have had my vehicle secured if that was the case. So just be sure not to leave anything in your vehicle when you take it in for service at this location. read more

Had a wonderful experience at this establishment! (Thanks to Groupon lol it helps me discover new places) I liked that this place was clean and there's free coffee, hand sanitizer & magazine to read while you wait ^_^ The employees were super nice, excellent customer service! I was in and out within an hour. Overall I'd come here again for a full synthetic oil change ^_^ read more

See all

I've heard many good things about this place.. I have a Amg Mercedes and it was time for a b service which the dealer said it will be 800$ for the oil and filter but it may go higher in price if more things are needed.. took it to purrfect auto and they checked everything and all that was needed was the oil change and filter walked out paying a little under 150.. the staff was very nice and honest I believe.. I also am a women and have always thought were taken advantage of but didn't feel that way here.. I will bring my cars here from now on read more

Ok, so this review is loooooooooong overdue. Purrfect Auto Service has been keeping my cars running and in tip-top shape for YEARS. For as long as I've lived in the area, this has been my "go to" repair shop. They got my 2003 Ford Mustang to register almost 200k miles with minimal repairs, which I sold for a great price. They got my 2008 Toyota Corolla to register 120k miles with minimal repairs, which I also sold for a great price. I now own a 2016 Toyota RAV 4 (Currently 100k miles) and 2016 Chrysler Mini Van (50k miles) and guess what? Still TIP TOP shape...both vehicles. To those reviewers who complain about bringing in your car for an oil change and being hit with a bill for additional repairs and such: yeah, that happens. I've taken my car in for an oil change and I'll get a call saying something like, "Hey, you may wanna change the struts" or, "Hi, we put it up on the rack and we noticed you're leaking transmission fluid"...stuff like that. You know what? I've appreciated it, every time. I've always asked, "Is that something that needs to be taken care of NOW, or you think I can wait?" and they've always answered honestly. This is why I believe I've taken all my cars to over 100k miles with no major problems down the road (no break downs on freeways and such). read more

Tom and the staff were a great help. They were fast and great communication. I'll definitely be coming here if anything else goes wrong with my car and they have great prices and get right to the point. read more

Great price, and all staff was really friendly and gave incredible service from start to finish! Definitely come here again in future.

Great work and very helpful mechanics and owner. Set everything up for me with a rental as well.

The team was so genuinely nice and seem like they love working there. I can tell Tom loves what he does and talked very passionately about how filters and spark plugs and such make for a very "happy car". Reasonably priced and quick service are just the cherries on top! Definitely making this my new place to go to. read more

Great services provided, the owner will explain each service to you if you ask questions!

The staff at this location went above and beyond to help get my car all fixed and better than new. They were able to accommodate me when I called in the morning of due to a more urgent issue and explained each step in detail to me. They called me with updates and I never once felt like they were lying or trying to overcharge me. So so nice and respectful. Tom is also stellar with his customer service skills and his willingness to help explain what is needed and why. Will definitely be coming back to this location for all future needs! read more

I used to go to dealerships for my vehicles until I found this place. They are much more affordable then most places and are genuinely trying to service what your car needs instead of unnecessary services. Their staff is also exceptional. I came here needing a noise in my car to be diagnosed and fixed. Other places told me they couldn't do it but when I came here they figured out the problem and fixed it. I was on the verge of buying another car until Purrfect Auto fixed my problem. They truly care about giving you the best service and prices with quality work. read more

My experience here was very easy and pleasant. I used a Groupon for my oil change and appreciated the knowledge the staff provided on my vehicle and their recommendations for it. Tom provided amazing customer service, I would recommend to a friend and will be coming back myself. read more

Purrfect Auto is fast, reliable and a great place to have your car serviced or repaired. Thank you Purrfect Auto for the fantastic work!

Mr. Smith is a genuine kind guy. I showed up at 0800 when they opened without an appointment and requested an oil change. He said sure no problem it'll be about an hour. I was in and out in 45 minutes he also gave me $20 off. I appreciated the work his guys did. Thank you! read more

AWSOME place to take your car!! Great service, honest, great prices! Richard is awesome to work with, won't take my car anywhere else.

All I can say is that trust is EVERYTHING! I trust Tom and Rich. My wife's pride and joy has cost me a lot of money at crappy, untrustworthy shops. Our 2008 BMW 750i was leaking oil, found out the last oil change place screwed the oil filter wrong and cross threaded it. Simple fix, $57.00 for the new filer, and 4 quarts of oil. This shop could have easily taken me for a lot of money, they could have lied and told me the oil pan gasket needed replacement...but they were honest and took care of me. I can now say, that I have found my repair shop and I don't need to look for another one. read more

First I must say this review is not due to pricing, rather than lack of customer service. Would you say that if you were to spend close to a thousand dollars for a repair, you might (as a customer) get a thank you, a lets go over what we did? Nope not here. Here you get sign here and Richard stays on the phone with your fleet company to review business, that he could have done after just spending a few minutes with the paying customer. The prices were good, so far the work seems in good order as well. I am a business owner as well and if I gave my customers this kind of service, I would not have been in business for over 30 years. So the work so far so good, the service, Meh. read more

Really great place and great work. Mr. Mohammad is awesome and so nice and friendly.

Going to a mechanic always makes me very nervous. So much so that I will put it off for as long as possible, in fact. Months ago I came to Purrfect Auto after waiting a terribly long time for an oil change (which you should 100% NOT do) and the guys in the shop were super respectful, didn't make me feel bad, and let me know about some other work that needed to be done and gave me the pricing without pressuring me into agreeing that day. I went in yesterday for a diagnostic after a couple of weird things happening with my car, and let them know that my heat shield (which was partially disconnected and causing a horrendous rattle) would be repaired at home so no need to fuss over it. They called me promptly with a list of services I needed, were clear about pricing for each, and I agreed to 2/4 for now. They finished the work quickly, called me to pick up my car, and when I did I realized they'd done the quick fix for the heat shield too. Which I just thought was so kind. So I'm leaving this review to say that if you value good atmosphere, transparency, and solid work: this is your place. Well worth the money. read more

These guys are very fair, honest and trustworthy. I've been there twice now and I'm impressed by all of the staff I've spoken with and the fact that they do not try to upsell me. They are honest with what I need and what I don't need and they don't charge you ridiculous amounts. I have recommended all of my friends to this place, especially my female friends because oftentimes we get told we need things we don't actually need so the company can get a bigger sale. It's nice to know there's a place I can go where I won't get scammed. read more

The worst horrible automobile mechanics. DO NOT take your car there. I took my car and paid $600 to get it "fix" and all they did was erase the codes. My car broke down a few months later and took to dealer. I was told it didn't look like nothing was fixed. Richard is the worst human. Liar and thief. This place is garbage read more

I would not trust this mechanic at all. He ripped me off. I came here for for an engine check lights on, It took them the whole 2 weeks to find out what is wrong with my car and they kept charging me for A B and C Finally they said it was a blown head gasket and they charged me 1498$ to fix it. After a month the engine check lights came on again and I brought my car back to them and Rich the guys who works here told me that it is a blown head gasket again because we only fixed the passenger side now the driver side is blown. Shame on these guys they charge you double than what the other mechanic charges for the same service and they can't fix your car too. These guys are professionally criminal who will send a coupon of 15$ oil change to you and once you come here they will charge you thousand and can never help you. Stay far away from this mechanic if you know what's good for your car and your wallet A complaint to the better business bureau has been done read more

Saturday afternoon and Rich says that he can handle my suddenly undeniable brake problem that afternoon. And even tho it was twice the job anticipated, they still worked past closing time to get me back on the road knowing that I needed the car for work the following AM. I will definitely remember/recommend these guys in the future!! read more
