this AutoZone pulls their registers early before closing and proceed to claim that the system doesn't process returns after 9:55pm. I came in at 9:56pm for a simple return, the guy said I was able to purchase something with my card only, but I couldn't return. I'm not stupid I've worked out of varios POS systems myself and what he said was complete BS. I had come off of an 11 hour long shift, and barely made it on time just for them to tell me to go to the autozone in rancho that's open longer, and completely out of my way was highly a let down. They assumed my return was cash, but it was card. The two guys closing need to reevaluate their jobs and positions. If they're going to be cashing out before closing to go home early, than maybe they shouldn't be working night shifts. 2/9/25 read more

Experience: I had a tail light out on my car, and knowing it was a relatively simple fix, I decided to swing by this AutoZone. The memorable moment was when I asked one of the employees for assistance in confirming which tail light needed replacing. Not only did he help solve the issue, but he also guided me to the exact materials I needed to make the repair. If you need your windshield wipes, put on during the rainy season or even before the employees are very kind and will do it for you. All you have to do is ask you might get a grumpy employee that doesn't want to do very much but sometimes he'll run into that one person that goes the extra mile. read more

I bought a new battery for my truck here in October. Here we are 3 months later and the battery failed. I had to have AAA come out because even a regular jump with my jumper cables wasn't cutting it. The battery was just that far gone. AAA battery tech showed me with his testing meter that the battery needed replacement. Ugh. I call Auto Zone. I talk to the manager-Matthew. By the way- nice guy! They tell me the battery of course is under warranty. Just bring the truck and they'll exchange it for a new one. Ok. I get there and I talk to Matthew. I immediately like him cause he's slathering on the same kind of peach hand sanitizer that I use...you gotta love a guy who uses the fruity scented stuff...LMAO!!!! Anyway....he gets a new battery and he goes outside and takes the old one out and installs the new one. Can I please start the truck? Go to turn key and we have ignition Scotty....LOL. :) My take away..... * They stand behind their product and made the exchange process headache free. *The store was clean. *All the guys in there are courteous, nice, caring and knowledgeable. *They all use hand sanitizer. *smile* I would have given 5 stars. Reason for taking away one is that the battery failed and it caused me two AAA calls/one jump/tow, one jump, one Uber ride to get home. Just the inconvenience. Had to put one star but This Auto Zone is NEGATIVE 6 stars!!! I have came here in the past and always received great service but that has changed. In business it is always who you have working for you that makes your business or hurts your business. It used to be Customer Service was a priority in business to retain your long standing customers. One or two employees in this instance can ruin your business. Every day is Day 1 and you must give exceptional customer service to be competitive. My visit today lacked professionalism and customer service. Adam the cashier/tech(?) was not knowlegible or personable at all. It appeared I was a bother. I asked for the manager and James the manager came out and pretty much was the same. They are not there to help the customer. Very disappointed to see the lack of customer respect. Not sure what your expectations are when hiring employees/management but trust me these two are not making Auto Zone a business to come back to. The competition will definitely get all my business and for everyone reading this do yourself a favor and go to an auto parts store that values their customers and makes you feel welcomed to spend your money. I went to the Auto Zone for an oil filter and gave the man the make and model. I gave him the wrong information and he made sure to belittle me that that was the wrong information. The oil filter was no in stock, he placed an order for me to pick up later that afternoon. I order the part and paid for it. When I pick it up the next day my order was re-stock in their store. Why would they re-stock an item that I already paid for! When I mentioned the part was not an oil filter he said I showed you a picture of it and you agreed that was the part. He is rude and should never work with customers. read more

Worst experience trying to a simple DIY oil change on my only day off. The hispanic male manager in his 40's with little whiskers growing as a facial hair must have been having a rough day. I placed an order online to pickup my oil, oil filter and drain plugs. Order submitted, shows In Porcess at 8AM. I noticed they open eary so I was glad they confirmed my order at the store and I called the store to also make sure I can dump my excess oil dump tanl, which happened to be full. I kept checking for an update so I could quickly go complete both transactions and I checked the time, it was 1230pm now and it still shows In Process but not ready for pickup. I decided to go in and check for an update in person but by the time I got there, they had no room for me to dump for oil oil. LOL! Pretty epic I must say. I shall never come back to this AutoZone again or use their silly app. Solved my problem by just driving down to O'Reily's Auto Parts. It was refreshing to just walk in there and be greeted as well as get some help. The OReily's guy carried my heavy oil tank all the way back to pour it himself. I am definitely a believer of, if you don't like doing business, I'll take it somewhere else. No problem and no hard feelings. Wish that guy a better day though and I did still thank the autozone guy for helping me perform my returns. read more

He never bothered to help me out like a real employee that cares about customer service cause he was to busy talking to his coworkers about stupid boy things. I have NEVER, ever in my life experienced such poor customer service. I will never do business with this Auto Zone again. They sold a battery to my Mother that was installed incorrectly and was NOT the right size. My Mother's vehicle could have caught fire and when we returned to ask for a new battery ONE month later, she was told it was her fault for purchasing the less expensive battery. We explained that when we purchased the battery, we were asked if we wanted the $109 battery with 2 year warranty or the $125 battery with the 5 year warranty. My mom went with the 2 year warranty and was NOT told this battery was smaller than the regular size battery for her vehicle. How was my mother supposed to know the size makes a difference. She depended on the trustworthy associates we rely on as a returning customer. The "associate" who installed the battery, installed it incorrectly. When I asked why would services be offered to assist if they font know to do it to begin with and I was told by the Mabafer Lorena that employees are not certified but do it as a courtesy. I mean, REALLY???? YOU ARE GOING TO SELL A BATTERY THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CATCH FIRE A MONTH LATER and say it's the customers fault for going with the less expensive battery and her not asking if it can catch fire. The loyalty and confidence we had as consumers with this Auto Zone has depleted. Someone could have burned to death and these employees could give a rats @ss. read more
