US Rack has been really great on my pickup. I've recently built both a wooden kayak and paddle board that need a long rack to properly hold them for travel. Also, I have a long tube fly rod holder that fits wonderfully on the rack and is held super secure with three cross bars. They've been able to work with me to help me get rigged up with a nice rack and tonneau cover that works well with the rack. The rack is both lightweight, and sturdy, and the tonneau cover provides some security when I travel with my pickup. read more

After receiving my rack, I realized it wasn't going to do the job for me. Installed one time and realized it wasn't going to work for my use and then removed it. I called the company to return it, since it had been less than their one year return policy, also that it was still new and had never left my garage. They said since I paid with my Paypal account, they could not refund my money. I even offered to give it back at half price and they said no. From the first call, to the finished product, this is most definitely a five star company. I called them early on a Friday in my hopeless search for what seemed to be a "unicorn" lumber rack for my ram. Everyone I had spoke to told me a minimum of 5 weeks. I called and got Stephanie in the office who was a pleasure to talk to, and had every answer I was looking for. So I ordered a rack that wasn't right, but would get the job done. When I arrived to pick up the incorrect rack, Chris, the very nice owner came out to speak with me. We came to the conclusion that the modular that I was looking for wouldn't work. So he and Stephanie talked to the crew, which said they could build me my custom rack complete in just about 4 hours. From measuring the truck, to the rack complete with powder coating and installation in under four hours for at least 20% less than fair market prices. I would use this company again in a half a heartbeat, and I don't think anyone in the world could match the level of customer service that I received today. Great product, great prices, great staff. 5stars through Update: 3 months later, and over 15,000 lbs loaded and unloaded on and off of this rack, and it still looks as strong straight and new as the day I bought it. During summer vacation, I bought the dual racks and 2 extra kayak carriers from US Rack. I ordered the clamp-on system and they accidentally sent the bolt-on system. The racks appeared to be very high quality--just the wrong set. The mistake cost me a precious day of vacation and I had to drill holes in my truck to avoid missing more. So I was really disappointed. I called the company immediately and Chris called me back, even though it was Sunday--and was extremely diligent to correct the mistake. We had to go back and forth a few times over the next few days, but he sent the right set out at his expense overnight, and offered me a partial refund for my trouble. Now I've got the right set and it's great, just as promised. The build quality is excellent and I received excellent customer service from the owner Chris. He was very friendly and diligent in correcting the mistake. My advice: buy from US Rack, but allow a bit of time to check the box when it arrives. And be confident that you're getting a fantastic product and a company that values customer service behind it. I will definitely look to them next time I want to buy racks, and I'll recommend them to my friends. read more

Received the "woody" rack a few days ago. Finally had the time to open the package and inspect the parts. Very good quality, excellent customer service. I'm missing a couple of the latches, so called US Rack. The owner called right back and is getting them in the mail today. I can't come close to beating the price on the internet or with local fab shops and most products on the market will not mount to a Toyota Tacoma with the rail system (Mine's a 2012). This review is targeted to U.S. Racks order/shipping process. Ordered my rack 13 days ago. Got email thanking me for the purchase the same day and that it was paid for already. 5 more emails the same day informing me the rack had been shipped already. That should have been the first indicator something was wrong. 12 Days later no rack so I called. A very sweet lady checked it out and said my rack was being laser cut that day, then painted and would ship in the next day or so. I think U.S. Rack makes great racks but I haven't seen it yet to verify. They are very good at processing my payment but not very good at delivery. Their shipping processes clearly need visiting. If it weren't for the very sweet representative I talked to, I think her name was Loretta, I would have cancelled my order. She basically talked me down from the ledge. U.S. Racks, she is worth her weight in gold so take care of her. I will be glad to update this review once I get the rack. read more
