Once the design was agreed upon, we were given a price and a start date. We felt so comfortable with Bryan and his staff that we didn't even explore other bids once we had the design (which the customer owns) in place. Bryan, the owner, is very patient and knowledgeable and gives you the feeling that all the details will be taken care of. The contract was written with the amount of detail that the customer appreciates, especially with a project that involves so many elements. We especially liked working with Jonathan, our project manager, who always kept us informed and responded to our inquiries in a timely manner. We also found the employees to be extremely hard-working and friendly. They left the property clean after each work day. We would use this company again for our next landscape project.

We started with a Zoom consultation where I was able to walk him through the property and the scope of the project. Bryan is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to talk to, making the whole process seamless. What stood out most was his professionalism and transparency. Even when our Zoom connection dropped, he called me immediately to finish the conversation without missing a beat. He was also very honest about the value of different tree sizes, guiding me toward the right functional solution rather than just pushing the most expensive option. It's rare to find that level of integrity!

It looks beautiful now and we are very pleased. We recently called to repair a drainage pipe that another company had screwed up. The pipe was under artificial turf at the curb. They repaired the pipe asking our approval at every step. They took out a wrinkle the other company left in the turf. We would recommend COLORWORKS for any landscaping job. Our recommendation for employee of the month would be Felipe. He was on his hand and knees brushing the turf to level out the new sand. He then came back on a Saturday with a motorized brush to make sure the job was finished perfectly.

We did not have a concrete idea of what we wanted at first but Oscar was great with helping us plan by guiding us and asking about how we wanted to use our space. He also created documents to submit to our HOA for approval, and he was able to make changes quickly when needed. Victor and the crew were on time, efficient, and timely with the work. It was greatly appreciated that everything was washed down and cleaned by the crew at the end of each day. They were also able to make quick adjustments when our neighbor had some concerns with the hedges we wanted to plant. The scope of the work included adding a concrete pad, extending our concrete patio, planting privacy hedges with drainage and auto watering system, installing artificial grass with paver walkways, and adding pebbles along the exterior wall of our house. Since we have a soft watering system, we also had them install a separate line from the main. Overall, Caliscapes OC was professional, friendly, and accommodating. We even had one of the hedge plants not doing well. We reached out to Caliscapes OC to advise us on how to revive it, and they said they would replace it. We had a good experience and would recommend!

To be honest, it really restored my faith in landscaping contractors. I submitted an online request for a quote and the next day Mike emailed me requesting pictures of what our project wanted to include. Originally we just wanted to pull out our front yard plants and redo just the front but there is a $5000 project minimum. After deciding to redo our turf and also include our backyard, Mike came out the next week for a free in person consultation and got me a detailed quote within 2 days. The turnaround time for everything was just amazing, I've never seen anything like it. Our lot is about 3615 sq ft to give a reference point. Our project included: all the labor to demolish/uproot all of our plants including a very large 20 year old tree in the backyard + all the roots (completed in 2-3 days), redid our front and backyard turf (completed in 2 days by Backyard Golf Company), added a veneer stone and cap on our retaining wall (1 week) and replanted all our plants/installed a drip sprinkler system/installed lighting front and backyard (1 week). We have an HOA and Mike had a complete detailed plan and diagram ready for us within 3-5 days. Once HOA got back to us, the project was started within a week and finished in the estimated time frame. Workers came promptly at 8 AM and they were actively working all day not just sitting around. Very respectful, even blowing all the dust at the end of the day to keep the area clean, no garbage left anywhere. The entire project was $30,000 and there weren't any surprise or unexpected costs. Invoices are sent every week on a reasonable schedule and I just loved our experience. I'd recommend Seabreeze to anyone wanting to do their hardscape landscaping in a heartbeat!

Absolutely not. I wanted something low maintenance, low water, and something that still added curb appeal to our home. After researching a lot of landscaping companies, I finally came across Growscapes OC. Joe came out to give us an estimate, and while I was speaking with him I could tell he had a vision for our redesigned lawn. I relied a lot on his expertise because I wasn't 100% sure what I even wanted. Soon I had a quote (which seemed reasonable enough to me), and a mockup to give us an idea of what the new space could look like. Soon the project began. The crew was courteous and professional. Everything was well communicated. After 5 days our new front yard came to life - from dead grass to desert garden. Immediately we were getting compliments from our neighbors. The house now looks so much more inviting because of Growscapes OC. Thanks Joe and your team!

Growscapes is a scam company. I would give them a negative star rating if I could. It has taken me…read morea long time to write this review because I get so angry. They took total advantage because we're elderly and know nothing about plants. We just took out the $3000.00 worth of shit They sold us. 1) they sold us tropical even though I said they wouldn't work because our backyard gets too much direct sun and heat. Anthony assured me that didn't matter. All that mattered was water. They ALL died within a few months 2) I was told the drip system they installed could be adjusted for each plant to get more or less water. Not true 3) I explained the dirt they were planting in was old and depleted. I was told the dirt didn't matter. They did not treat the dirt or even fertilize what they planted. 4) the drip system they put in had a control that it has a 300 page online manual. Even their installer didn't know how to set it up and was unable to explain it to me. YET he told me it needed to be updated every 6 months when we changed the batteries. Of course we were not told about this requirement until instalation was completed. As I said earlier we are elderly! I asked for a simpler timer and they said there was no option. 5) they are NOT woman owned and operated. Yes, the scamming husband put the company in his wife's name for tax purposes but she CLEARLY knows nothing about plants or landscaping. When I had them come out to see the dead plants she never spoke. Her husband and Anthony did all the arguing and yelling and put all the blame on us. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism in any service industry. All I asked for, and still feel we are entitled to, is a refund. The dead plants have been removed, the inadequate drip system has been removed, and we are starting over. I was duped by a morally bankrupt company. Don't be fooled by the fake reviews on their web page! They have no place to leave a review on their web page and they aren't here so where did those reviews come from?? THEY ARE SCAMMERS! BE WARNED!

I was THRILLED to learn that she works with a contractor, Ron Smith & Company, who could do the whole job. It was amazing to work with a cohesive team to design, plan, and execute my vision of a new front and back yard. A few standout points: 1) They worked around my budget and got me everything I wanted. 2) They made recommendations for things I hadn't thought of and also added knowledgeable insights to the things I knew I wanted. 3) They completed the job in 4 weeks, from demo to planting! The crew came 5-6 days a week, worked incredibly hard, were quiet, clean, and respectful, and left by 4pm. The communication was great, they ordered everything and kept half of our driveway clear so we could still use the garage to park our cars. And the craftmanship is noteworthy. The tinest details matter and I was able to make all the important choices at the right time. 100% recommend them for relationship, quality, speed, and price!
