I have hired other gardeners I found on Yelp, and they have all been good, but for one reason or another I have never called them back. Angel is different. For the first time, I didn't have to provide any guidance. He and his crew arrived early and just went to work. When he was done, I did ask why a few things weren't trimmed, and for each he had an answer that made sense. Most importantly, I didn't have to ask him and go back and pull weeds that still remained or cut other things that should have been cut. On top of that, he trimmed my trees (small lemon and olive trees) way more than any other gardener before me, without my asking! Needless to say, if you are looking for an expert gardening service for regular maintenance, Angel is your man!

Gilberto came and gave me a bid, but it was way too high. Later, when speaking with a relative, he lowered his price to match another bid. We liked his experience and reviews, so we hired him and his crew. They arrived on time and worked from 8:30-1:00, pruning and cleaning. I had given him a list of everything I expected, which matched our conversation the day of his bid. They did a wonderful job, attending to everything on my list, and I was very happy. I wanted to hire him to handle the yard work on a monthly basis, but he did not respond. I would recommend him for major projects, as he provided excellent service to me. We also had a good time laughing at my jokes, and I felt he was honest in his recommendations for future planting. If you have a big project, he does trees, landscaping and pruning/clean-up.

It was somewhat difficult to find a company willing to work on only ~100 sq ft, as they had cost minimums. After many hours of calls, texts, and at-home visits with different landscapers, I received several quotes that were all around the same price. Ultimately, I went with Even at Green Land due to his kindness and open communication-- and I cannot tell you how happy I am with that decision! When Even first visited my home to look at the space, he was so thorough in his explanation of the work required as well as the pros and cons of certain plants, rocks, and other features. Even was super knowledgeable and courteous, asking if we owned pets (we don't) as one of the plants wouldn't be ideal for curious pets that could bite into it. I could tell that he truly cared about the quality and longevity of his work. As we moved forward (and as I waited for HOA approval...), Even also sent pictures of the plants and rocks we discussed, just to make sure they were what I wanted. I was able to make changes and really felt comfortable communicating exactly what I was looking for. Even and his crew were so friendly, fast, and hardworking. I wanted four white birch trees in my front yard expertly trimmed. It had been awhile since I've…read moredone it and they were pretty shaggy. I settled on FNL Tree Services. I sent him pictures of the job and he gave a fair price. We scheduled the trimming for 7:30 am, and they came early. Javier, the master tree trimmer/pruner introduced himself. I asked he if the could trim my front slope as well for an extra charge and he said no problem. They are a great team and Javier crushed it with a professional trim job. They cleaned up nicely too.
