this is the absolute worst company I've ever don business with. They came out and gave me an estimate. I told them that I wanted to get at least one more estimate before continuing. They called a day later with a much better estimate, so stupid me, I said go ahead. They didn't do the work promised in my first estimate and even knew it when I called to complain. He said... too bad you don't have it in writing!! I said you could have had a repeat customer for hundreds of dollars multi times per year and he said he didnt care. If I could have given him a zero rating, I would have done so. read more

They did a great job trimming my Ash at my home Newport Beach a few months ago, so I gave them a tough job of stump grinding a 60 year old 5' wide- 2' high liquid Amber stump on Balboa Island beach front at my in-laws home (it was hard to get to the location and a very large stump). It was a tough job and they mastered it with no headaches. I highly recommend them and plan to keep on using them for our tree & landscape needs. read more

Josue came out on time and provided a professional written estimate as well as his contractor ID. He was not the least expensive estimate but he was much less than the highest. He also had insurance and a valid contractors license. I needed a rush job due to insurance requiring that brush be removed from around our property and he was able to complete it on time. He then emailed me the quote by end of day so I could have it in writing, and called the next day to make sure I received it. Ghai's removed 15 eucalyptus trees from our condominium property in east Costa Mesa. We couldnt have been happier with their service. As a homeowner-run HOA, we are pretty judicious about our spend. We had received quotes form 4 different tree removal companies and found Ghai's to be the most reasonably priced. We also took comfort in that they were insured for property damages. From the minute we called for an estimate, to the onsite evaluation to the tree removal process, they were extremely responsive, on-time, considerate, and efficient. They cut down and grinded the roots of all 15 trees within 3 days. They were considerate of the neighbors and time they conducted the service. Also, they did a fantastic job on clean up. I was shocked to see someone gave them five stars. They came to give us an estimate on trimming our neighbor's tree that hangs into our yard. They came, looked at our yard, the access to the tree, etc and quoted us $100, which seemed reasonable. As he was walking out the door, he changed his mind and increased it to $125. Still reasonable so we scheduled a time for them to come. He came by on the scheduled day and just left an invoice in our mailbox for $125 and a note saying they would be by over the weekend. They showed up on Saturday morning and told us that the price would now be $200 or more. No explanation when I asked why. I understand an estimate is just that...an estimate but they were way off and overpriced for such a simple job. Not impressed with their customer service either. read more

Got a free estimate in person and by email quickly. Josue communicated with me clearly and responded to calls immediately. The crew was super professional and they did quality landscaping work. We had a very large job for them in the front and back yard, they showed up on time, and got right to work. They were very efficient and fairly priced. They cleaned up really well afterwards, too.
