Our experience overall was five stars. They referred us to a great designer (Who I will review separate). The yard came out better than we anticipated. I called these people because of a botched job done another person. I was told by Ward the company was busy and I would need to wait for a few months. Rainbird gave me a list of trained contractors and Parker was on the list. When asked how much it would be to fix the problem I was told $75. per hour. I was never given a written estimate when Parker first looked at the job. The worker was here at 8:25. He was missing a connector and left telling me another friend worker was down the street and he would be getting the part from him. He was back in a short amount of time with the part. He was here one hour exactly. When I got billed the amount with parts was and labor was $207.01. Rainbird had sent me a valve. LABOR WAS PUT DOWN AT 2.5 HOURS. When I called Ward back an argument ensued and he settled on $113.26. After spending $500. for another person I sure wasn't going to pay for 2.5 hours when Parker was here 1 hour. We hired Mike to come in and repair some work we had another landscape company in do for us. Mike showed up on time, took a look at our house and yard and immediately had some great suggestions for us. The next day he stopped over with some stone samples and we kind of hym'd and haw'd and Mike could tell we didn't love the pieces he had. He told us to wait and the next day he brought back some samples that really rocked (pun intended!)!!! What I liked about Mike is he listened to us, provided some opinions on what we should consider based on our input and then delivered what we asked for. He was on time, his guys were on time, and they did top quality work. I'd recommend Mike to anyone who needs landscaping work. He provides great service and fair prices! We interviewed several landscape companies to revamp our front and back yards. Our landscape architect had recommended Mike Parker Landscape and after a visit from Kyle Dack we knew this was a company that we could work with. The day they began, it was nonstop all day, each day until the job was finished. Kyle came by almost every day for oversight and he communicated details via email too. He was very knowledgeable about the hardscape, irrigation, lighting, and of course all the plants. The subcontractors for each phase of the job were all professional, personable and extremely hard workers. Even their CFO, Ward, was a delight to communicate with - despite the fact that his primary contact with us was to collect our payments :) But he also made sure to ask if we had any concerns or had any questions about the job. Mike Parker just finished a job and I have rarely been so impressed with a contractors service. Eric Anderson who assisted us was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. His crew arrived on time each day and finished the job on time. I came home to a lovely new garden path with flowering plants and a new irrigation system. No succulents for me! We interviewed a handful of landscape designers for our front & back yard redo and picked Mike Parker- that was our mistake. Expectations were set but never met. Extra charges right & left. Was told the yard would fill in and look great in time. Now a year later and the empty spaces we noted are still empty. To add to the disappointment a very expensive existing tree was removed and "went missing." Wish I could give 0 stars . Could not in good conscience recommend this company- be warned. read more

This is our second large landscaping project that Mike Parker has completed for us. After meeting with some other landscapers and getting other bids, my husband and I selected Mike Parker because their design was the best, we knew the quality of their work was top notch, and that they would complete the project on time. Additionally, we were extremely happy with their communication and ability to listen to what we want and give us a variety of options to choose from. In any type of construction it's important to be able to brainstorm and bounce ideas off of the company doing work for you, and Mike Parker is very receptive to this type of communication.
