They are so gentle and kind with the tools and your teeth so I recommend that even if you're scared to show up to the appointment just trust that it will be a good experience like I have to. After getting all my insurance papers, properly filled out, she turned me over to Anne, my hygenist. No pain, no bite problems, no anything. My husband also goes to Dr. Moen and agrees 100%. In fact my hubby had 3 teeth repaired after an awful dentist in Prairie du Chien (who left suddenly around 2009) put three crowns in that resulted in bite problems and damage to a tooth. Dr. Moen fixed all those problems. Dr. Moen is professional, extremely high-skilled, and a perfectionist. His assistant is pleasant and friendly and has been with him, as the rest of his staff, for many years. I wish I had such a good dentist when I was young.

I found a specialist in Madison that I went to see hoping he could help me with my jaw issues due to having chronic migraines, neck and back pain, sleepless nights, along with other issues. I was hoping I would easily be able to get a simple night guard created for when I sleep to prevent my grinding and clenching. When I finished the assessment he quoted $2500 for a mouth guard that my insurance would not cover. This was out of the question and honestly outrageous. I felt like I was never going to sleep well or get rid of my constant jaw pain and discomfort. My family then said I should try Deer Creek Dental and Dr. Mueller because they thought he could help. I decided to try because I really was at the end of my rope trying to find a solution to all of my problems. I quickly got an appointment and was blown away by the service and professionalism of the staff and Dr. Mueller. In one appointment that was about 1-1.5 hours I was able to get assessed, x-rays taken, molds of my teeth taken, and all my questions answered. Kelly, his assistant, and Dr. Mueller were able to answer all of the questions and concerns I had about my jaw issues and made me feel confident that this would finally be a solution to all my problems. I received 2 mouth guards within 3 days of getting the molds taken and started using them every night since. It's been about 3-4 weeks since I have started using the mouth guard and I am so happy and pleased with the results. I have been able sleep better through the nights, my chronic jaw tension and pain has practically disappeared, I find myself clenching my jaw throughout the day less and less, and I can finally eat some foods that I have been avoiding due to the pain it caused my jaw. Overall I am so happy and grateful to Dr. Mueller and his staff for being able to help me find a solution to something I have been suffering with for years. Now just a little history I have not been to a dentist in 10 years and well unfortunately im about to explain why I probably won't be going back to one for another 10 :-( I suffer from gum disease, my bone is diminishig as we speak all was confirmed the lady who did my x-rays was awesome then my dental hygienist came in. Not in her defense she is simply going based off her college degree and everything she was taught. But arguing with someone about their OWN BODY is a big no no in my opinion. She hit me RIGHT AWAY with the bullcrap on do you brush your teeth every day? do you drink energy drinks etc. I began to get defense BUT was able to check myself back and be nice simply stating that all of the women on my moms side SHE HAS 7 SISTERS btw and 2 brothers. all the women had full dentures before they hit the age of 40 ( all live in different states and see different dentists and practice different hygiene ) the common factor being children. ALL including my own mother (rip) had great teeth until after they started having babies. also I am tongue tied very badly with contributes to the way saliva and food get digested and torn apart anyhow I have a million reasons that go AGAINST me and my teeth. also the fact my jaw is not lined correctly I suffer from over bite as well as lock jaw and migraines BUT she wanted to skip all that laugh at me tell me NONE is hereditary ALSO that having children and your teeth health is a MYTH. yea.... but yet my moms brothers have no teeth problems ? hmmm strange. But again not her fault she paid big money to attend whatever school she went to to teach her how to become a robot to make MONEY. wich I will also add that as I was crying and shaking visibly upset terrified whatever.... she felt the need to mention that if I leave early it will be still be charged as a full visit.... thanks thats helpful in a time like that!? Good thing I have state insurance and yes I know thats like 90% of my problem if I need better care then I need to pay out the wazoo for private and better insurance also still running the risk of dealing with people who give zero cares in the world about who I am as a human or what I have been thru. I lost a bunch of sleep and had very high hopes but was let down yet again but the money hungry obsessed world we live in today. Oh but the dr was quick to give me MORE ANTIBIOTICS all tho I already informed them I was taking them already because I have a dr who actually does listen and knew my teeth were infected. But sure throw some more medication on it ..... thats not like not safe or bad for you or anything to double up on antibiotics geesh. But hey if you don have any MAJOR issues im sure this place would be great. and the lady can inform you not to drink fruit juice... clearly thats where I went wrong hahahahah

I wish to God I knew of these folks long ago. They kept telling me how well I had taken care of my teeth, no issues or cavities...Dr. Ted is number 1 on my list now. I had my check up and cleaning and the cleaning by Samantha was a walk in the park compared to what I was so afraid of. These folks are so friendly and professional and just a real pleasure to visit. Numbed me painlessly. Perform excellent work on my teeth. I have been here on 3 different occasions and the staff is very polite. I only saw one grumpy person on one of my three visits. I had a broken filling, and they got me right in. Then the scheduled me for evaluation and cleaning, but called me the next day and said they had a cancellation. I got right back in. My third they didn't even charge me for, as she decided to refer me for a orthodontist for a consultant (free also) to make a more informed decision on my options. It is such a load off my mind knowing they have your best interest at the forefront. Kudos Dr Sorensen!

The staff is super friendly, they made great efforts to get me seen quickly whenever I needed it, they took every issue seriously and gave me the best dental care I've ever gotten. I was always surprised when the dentist (father and son I think) remembered me with 6 months between appointments. Superb dental care paired with a really great friendly environment.
