I had initially gone to a different oral surgery office that was on the referral list my dentist…read moregave me. That office did radiographs and made a recommendation for treatment. I had lost the crown on a front tooth, so I was motivated to move forward on this sooner rather than later. So, I scheduled the appointment to prepare that gap for an implant. The next available opening was a couple months out, but I eagerly took it. When I showed up for my appointment that day (mind you, we live 40 minutes away and I was taking time off work), I was told the office computer system was down and that I'd have to reschedule. The next available appointment was several months out! No apologies, no trying to get me in earlier. By the time I'd get in, it would have been almost a year since I lost the crown. So, I called my dentist for a new referral. the Center for Oral an Maxillofacial Surgery could get me in within a couple of weeks for the initial consult and another two weeks for the surgery. The staff was very friendly and professional. (The same could not be said for the original office I was referred to.) The procedure went as planned. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Center to anyone needing oral surgery.

I fully trust his skills- I think he loves what he does and he is very good at it. His staff was also very nice. They were sensitive to my TMJ and let me rest when I needed to. I'm so grateful I have been able to maintain sobriety and accomplish as much as I have in the last four and a half years, that being said though, no matter what I did, having a mouth of black and broken teeth left me feeling incomplete and killed my confidence. On January 27th, 2026, after only a couple of thorough but quick and easy consultations, Dr. Hoyer performed the surgery necessary for me to sign a new lease on a fresh set of chompers. The difference this has made for me in such a short amount of time is unreal. I find myself with happy tears sometimes when I am able to look a stranger in the face and smile and say hello. My favorite thing to do in the morning now is to look in the mirror and smile at myself, nice and big! I haven't felt this confident since I was 18 and I am now 36. Couldn't have asked for a nicer guy, couldn't have found someone that did the work any better. Thank you, Dr. Hoyer, I am forever and ever so grateful.

At my initial consultation , I did decide to have a dental implant placed. Kim in the business office was extremely helpful in examining my insurance and letting me know what the cost would be at the time of the procedure. Today was the date for my procedure. I was greeted promptly and signed necessary forms. Emily and Meredith took me to the procedure room where they hooked me up to various monitors since I was going to have sedation for the extraction. My doctor is Kim Pansegrau, DDS,MD and he provided me with IV sedation. Within seconds he proceeded with the procedure and I have zero recollection of any of the mechanics of the work. And when done, unhooked me from the monitors and put me in a wheelchair and took me to the recovery area, where I spent about fifteen to twenty minutes. Mason checked my vitals and when I was ready to go , explained the medications I needed to take and the precautions I needed to use. When ready he put me in a wheelchair and rolled me outside to the car where my wife was waiting to take me home. The whole experience was very efficient and in my mind flawless. I had zero discomfort and quickly resumed ability to walk and eat since the anesthesia was not so overwhelming. I am so thankful to the doctor and his very able assistants. Not only is this doctor highly recommended but the whole office staff made the experience which I was so nervous about a very benign affair.
