Well, not this place. They accept people who don't have any insurance but deny my kid because the insurance he has. So, we said that's fine we will just pay in cash and not worry about insurance. But they still deny him saying, we still submit everything to the insurance so we still can't take him. That's crap. He's part of my family and I go there but still nope. I am not happy with this place and will be looking elsewhere for a better dentist. Another thing the receptionist is a bitch and is very rude.

I am living proof that they are and it happens every time I go in there scared from the PTSD. They are so gentle and kind with the tools and your teeth so I recommend that even if you're scared to show up to the appointment just trust that it will be a good experience like I have to. For years I was a dental phobic and really struggled with dread and fear whenever I went to a dentist. Then I found Baxter Dental through the recommendation of a friend. From that first appointment onward I got a bit more at ease every time I went there. After about 2 years I came to realize that I was not going to get hurt there, that everything was explained in detail before any procedures were conducted, and that my concerns would be addressed at every turn. Employees remember me, ask about my family, and my job. I realize that many things are recorded on my chart but they take the time to look up the smallest details like a particularly sensitive tooth etc. and make sure that it is numbed as needed for my comfort. I used to live near by and was referred by a friend to Joel back in 2009. I started visiting way back then. At that time they were located down on Main Street. I have only received the very best care and ultimate kindness by staff from day 1. Years later they moved to their current location. Since then I've moved an hour and a half away. I have come back a several times, and then when I thought it was too far to drive, I decided to visit a couple of dentists in my local area, which all of them ended up a nightmare.. So here I am back again in Lodi driving an hour and a half for a dental appointment. After the last dentist visit in Beloit, who jacked up my teeth. I called here to see if I could get a visit they got me in in less than a week and when I got here for my appointment I had assumed I would need two crowns and I was correct. I definitely needed two crowns. Although I only had an appointment to have them take a look at my teeth. They told me we know you have a really long drive. We can fit you in today if you don't mind, So I said yes!!!! And here I am having them put in same-day crowns on both teeth, I don't have to come back for multiple visits. I don't have to have a temporary crown. This place is amazing! I feel like no matter where I move. I will always come back to Lodi Valley Dental for dental work.!!!!! Also, everything here is state of the art, their cameras, their x-ray machines, their crown making machine.
