I've been there for three appointments and every time they mix something up. Their receptionist is completely clueless when it comes to the billing portion. In my latest visit, they could not come up with a correct total right away, so I asked them to bill me. This was because I asked the hygenist, doctor, and the billing lady how much the cost would be, and I received three different numbers. They billed me incorrectly three times in a row, and now are not willing to email me a receipt of my recent work done. They are very, very difficult to work with!

I found a specialist in Madison that I went to see hoping he could help me with my jaw issues due to having chronic migraines, neck and back pain, sleepless nights, along with other issues. I was hoping I would easily be able to get a simple night guard created for when I sleep to prevent my grinding and clenching. When I finished the assessment he quoted $2500 for a mouth guard that my insurance would not cover. This was out of the question and honestly outrageous. I felt like I was never going to sleep well or get rid of my constant jaw pain and discomfort. My family then said I should try Deer Creek Dental and Dr. Mueller because they thought he could help. I decided to try because I really was at the end of my rope trying to find a solution to all of my problems. I quickly got an appointment and was blown away by the service and professionalism of the staff and Dr. Mueller. In one appointment that was about 1-1.5 hours I was able to get assessed, x-rays taken, molds of my teeth taken, and all my questions answered. Kelly, his assistant, and Dr. Mueller were able to answer all of the questions and concerns I had about my jaw issues and made me feel confident that this would finally be a solution to all my problems. I received 2 mouth guards within 3 days of getting the molds taken and started using them every night since. It's been about 3-4 weeks since I have started using the mouth guard and I am so happy and pleased with the results. I have been able sleep better through the nights, my chronic jaw tension and pain has practically disappeared, I find myself clenching my jaw throughout the day less and less, and I can finally eat some foods that I have been avoiding due to the pain it caused my jaw. Overall I am so happy and grateful to Dr. Mueller and his staff for being able to help me find a solution to something I have been suffering with for years. It finally became something that I could no longer avoid so I went to Grand River Dental because I really trust the dentists there to do the best job. It turns out that I was correct to trust them because they made the whole process seamless. I was in and out with four less wisdom teeth and barely any pain and no swelling (granted i was on pain killers) I was back to work the next day and minus the obvious healing curve, everything was back to normal very quickly. My wisdom teeth were fully grown in so it's possible that my procedure went smoother than someone whose teeth are not fully grown in or impacted, but even then, I would trust this team to do the best job they could to minimize the trauma from this surgery. Nothing that I was scared of happening happened and I am so grateful to this dental team!

This place is the most unethical clinic I have ever visited. We waited a year and a half to get an…read moreappointment, playing their little raffle game every month, all because we were told that their services would be cheaper because of using a sliding scale. All to find out that their sliding scale is not cheaper at all. We qualify for a 50% discount, but they just jack up their prices so high that half off is still much higher than anywhere else. I called six other clinics in La Crosse and they were all much cheaper full price. Then I went in to have a cavity filled. After the numbing wore off, I noticed that the filling was sitting too high, and then three days later, the filling came out. I went in to have it redone, and of course, they charged me for it, even though it was their fault it came out. They claimed that it was a different area than what they worked on before. But it was because of the filling being too high that the tooth was damaged. I've tried to argue this point to no avail. Customer service does not exist at this clinic. It's clear that their whole business model is just to take advantage of their patients.

Months later I had to cancel an appointment due to a work emergency. I called ahead to let them know I couldn't make it, rather than being 10-12 minutes late to the appointment. Four days later I received a letter in the mail saying I could no longer be seen as a patient there. EXTREMELY disappointing.
